They installed our HVAC system when our home was built 9 years ago and have been faithfully servicing it every season since. We had to use a different company once during covid because they didn't have enough techs working, but we went right back as soon as they were up and running again. They have always been up front and honest with us. That is a quality that is hard to find these days, so I use them for all of my HVAC needs.
This is a great company! They installed all the plumbing and hvac in our new house and did a great job start to finish! Our tankless hot water heater had an error code after the last storm and woke up without hot water. They stepped me through clearing the code and checking out the unit. In about 15 minutes we had hot water again! Thank you Karen and the crew!

I have been requesting your company come out since summer of 2021 and have phone records and emails to back it up. My 7 year warranty was up 11/21 and therefore I was in the 7 year time frame. Your company said I was on waiting lists over and over and that you did not have an HVAC person, which is odd being a heat and air company. Then I spoke to you directly last month regarding the problems and you said you would have one of your guys come come out the following day and no phone call was received. I have also emailed you regarding the problems and you condescendingly responded that maybe it was just freon or I needed new air filters, knowing that 2 companies had come out and said it was the condenser. Regardless poor customer service.
If your looking for a company to stand by their work and warranty, this is not the company. My condenser is under warranty and after multiple phone calls and e-mails,, I’ve received only excuses. It is my understanding there is no money to made is warranty equipment, so not their problem.
These guys are awesome! Called them after I had someone quote me nearly 2 grand and recommend replacing my 10 year old system. These guys got me up and running for 425. They got the part same day when the other place said it would be two days pending weather. Just absolutely incredible!
We were so close to not having heat for an ice storm. We had a company come out before him saying that we needed to replace our (not very old) unit. JJ was so quick getting the part that we actually needed and installed it on the same day. Can't recommend enough. :)
We had several issues with our furnace. Hicks always responded in a timely manner. They were always professional, explained everything they did, and I would recommend them to anyone needing repair or replacement for a furnace or air conditioning system. The owner, staff, and techs are extremely knowledgeable and wonderful to work with,
Did a very thorough job testing the lines on my propane tank. Great people and will definitely use in the future if needed. Also, fairly priced. Thanks again!!
I’ve bought a lot of homes and I’ve dealt with a lot of contractors in my life and I have never met a company as professional as Hicks Heat & Air. They are the best.
Hicks did the install work for 2 units on our new construction home in 2018. We have been really happy with how they zoned our house as there is not much temperature differential between rooms, and we never have any issue maintaining a temperature in the summer or winter. Everyone who came out to the house or we spoke with in the office is extremely kind and easy to work with. They have always been happy to answer any question I have, and gave honest answers on where to get the most value for our money - even if it meant spending less with them. Of all our contractors they were one of the easiest and most honest to work with.
I have used hicks numerous times, I will not use anyone else. My last service call was due to a malfunctioning a/c unit. They worked me in at the last minute, fixed my system quickly and courteously. Never have the tried to sell me anything that was not needed. I’m sure they will not always be able to work me in at the last minute, sometimes you just have to wait a day for good service.
Hicks completely botched everything in my new house. They undersized one AC unit and refused to ever take responsibility for the bad design. They did give me a discount price on a larger unit. But I had to pay for the unit and the contractor had to pay for the labor. The worst part was when they installed the new unit they never glued the vent on the furnace. This left poisonous gas venting into the attic and also let condensation leak on the ceiling and cause water damage. They came out to fix the vent and claimed it had been glued but broke. And then proceeded to glue the same pvc pipe into the same elbow. This never happens. The PVC pipe was never glued and they lied about it. They also would not accept liability for the water damage. I am telling everyone I know to stay away from this company.
Honest. I have verified that. They are meticulous whether it is heat and air or plumbing.
They found what four other companies could not. Hill and Company quote $26k, Drabek and Hill two tries quote $12k. Hicks fixed it and found it in 10 minutes for hundres not tens of thousands.
You are the provider for Bradbury Homes and this will be our second house by Bradbury and we have had the same problem in each house. One side is definitely hotter/colder than the other than the other side of the house. But, you pass off a 3 degree guarantee,( not sure this is normal but I have had 5 new houses in my lifetime and these are the only 2 with this issue)... sent your young technician guy and said there was not much you can do, as long as it was within 3 degrees of each room... Its frustrating to spend this much on a home and not be comfortable in it for all. Well, todays sensors read 71 in living room, 73 in master... 76!! in guest room and that was with vent closed!!!! Just not a happy camper on this... You mentioned the first time that you could recalibrate in the summer but that would not change a thing for the winter months... ( sounds so "i don't want to deal with this and make the customer happy) Not sure if this review will get results, but just beware if your builder has them and be prepared for this issue.
Hicks is a wonderful plumbing and HVAC company. I’ve been working with Hicks for over 10 years. They are honest and shoot straight with you. They have fair pricing and stand behind their work.
We’ve used Hicks on numerous occasions, repairing water lines as I’m typing this! They’ve always been extremely responsive and a delight to do business with as its crisis mode when you make the dreaded discovery of a busted water line or whatever it may be. Would recommend to anyone needing work done.
Hicks gave us the best price and have great reviews. The crew got to work and installed a heat pump in our 1963 attic. Way to go Hicks! I appreciate the people at Hicks Heat and Air. They have the same warranty as all the others. Thank you all at Hicks! I love my new heat and air.
