Had a wonderful experience! Everyone was professional, friendly, responsive and efficient. They worked really hard to figure out what was going on with our gas line and hooked up our new gas logs for us. We will definitely use Hemphill again. We tried to work with a chimney service in town and had a weeks long nightmare of a time getting them to call us back, schedule etc.. Not the case with these folks. Definitely recommend them!
Hemphill came to my rescue today. They provided excellent service, came when they said they would, did a great job, and were very professional. I had made several other calls, only to be told they couldn’t get to me until tomorrow at overtime rates or next week at regular weeks. 5 days is a long time to wait with a lavatory that won’t flush & is overflowing. He also unclogged 2 slow draining showers for me. I was so happy and grateful for their help. Hunter Johnson is the one who made the service call. He is friendly, kind, well-mannered, and did a great job!
Michael Webb was the tech that serviced my unit. Professional, polite, went the extra mile. Would request him specifically if I were to need more work.
I woke up in the middle of the night with no air conditioner in August...it was miserably hot. I called Hemphill and Hunter arrived quickly. He figured out the issue immediately and had it fixed in no time!
On a Sunday we had pipes leaking into the basement and toilets overflowing. Hemphill offered their advice, took the time to explain options, was up front with pricing. When they came out they were on time, communicative and professional. They came back out the very next day to finish up the work without tacking on extra charges. I will absolutely reach out to them again for plumbing needs!
This company was easy to contact, very responsive, and provided service in two days. The technician, Michael, and his assistant were very polite, answered all my questions and were extremely professional and helpful. I will use them again and highly recommend them.
We called due to a sewage line issue and they took care of it. I am incredibly appreciative of how they listened to our issue and all the details around it, and then how they went about their business professionally! Trey was the plumber who came out and he was kind, responsive, and did great work! I highly recommend Hemphill!
Very impressive nice to work with reasonable prices
I’ve used these guys to install an HVAC system and maintain several units. They are great and on time (which is a rarity with contractors). Highly recommend!

This is the third time I have used Hemphill services for various reasons - mostly emergencies!! They have always done an outstanding job. I had an emergency and called them in the middle of the night for a leak in my main waterline. They were very courteous and very professional, despite the ungodly hours. They don’t give you the runaround like some companies do. When they say they are going to fix your problem, they get it done in a timely fashion. They had my leak fixed in no time and my water restored to the house.

This company is hands down the best in the Birmingham area when it comes down to heating, a/c and plumbing. We’ve used them several years and actually got all of our family members in the area to use them too. Andrew is the best at getting people dispatched to your location in a timely manner. The employees are all very professional and clean up after the repairs so you’ll never know they were there. I would recommend this company to anyone in search of air conditioning, heater and plumbing repairs.
