Russ and his team are thorough, prompt, professional and honest!
Russ and his team spent the entire day working on my home HVAC system. They spent the time to make sure the job (not an easy one!) was done right and didn’t leave until everything was working properly. I would highly recommend Heat and Air direct for any HVAC work. It is difficult to find reliable service providers these days, and they have a small but dedicated team. Can’t recommend them enough. For sure They are my go-to guys for any HVAC work from now on.
I can't say enough about their quality and professionalism. We had used multiple HVAC companies before finding Russ and Chris, and they are far and away the best. We needed to replace our HVAC this past July, less than two weeks before I was due to give birth, and they did an amazing job at a reasonable price. They educated us on various options so we felt like we were making an informed decision, attended to Covid safety protocols, and even did the work within 2 days so that I (at 9months pregnant) didn't have to suffer the heat longer than was necessary. I would recommend them to anyone!
I prefer smaller local companies when it comes to everyday home service needs. But there’s a problem: small, local companies often don’t provide the quality of work and the level of professionalism we all want and need. That’s NOT the case with Heat and Air Direct! Many years ago Russ Turpening put together a heating/cooling service and installation business that is second to none in quality of product and workmanship. And he’s done it with an expertly trained small crew that’s mostly family based and who treat you as if you’re part of that family. Over the past several seasons, Russ, Chris, Cameron, and Daniel have each made several service calls for repairs and routine spring and fall tune-ups. In every case they have resolved problems quickly and also provided preventive maintenance that precluded furnace failure in the middle of January. So when my 25-year-old furnace began acting up last week, it was an easy call to decide on who would be doing the replacement. But I didn’t just get back to the level of comfort I had before the failure. I am blessed to now experience a degree of heat uniformity throughout the house that just wasn’t possible with the old system. A new smart thermostat decides better than I where to apply small incremental heat changes to make sure the heat follows activity throughout the house. And all this is NOT at premium prices, but delivered with USA-made equipment sporting the industry’s best warranties at an extremely reasonable cost. I couldn’t be happier with my new heating system or with the company who I can confidently rely on to maintain it. It’s my pleasure to give Heat and Air Direct my highest recommendation!

Great service this past Friday from Heat and Air Direct. We had Chis and Daniel tune up both of our units for the summer. They made a few recommendations for up-grades regarding some electrical components which we made. The guys were very professional and did not pressure us for the up-grades, instead made sure we understood the benefits to both of the units and also our utility bills. We have been using Heat and Air Direct for several years now and they have always been on time, courteous, and reasonably priced. My wife and I would highly recommend them for any of your HVAC needs.
Stay away from this guy! Extremely poor service. Job was not completed as agreed on. A month later still not complete. My reviews are truthful. This guy cannot be trusted...
Contacted Chris Haynes in the morning, and he arrived to look at our system by 1pm as planned. They were great and very informative about everything they were doing from running diagnostics, cleaning the system and making the needed repairs. Both were courteous, patient with questions and concerns, and friendly. I really appreciate their professional but friendly work.
Russel and Chris took care of us! My unit stopped working so I called my warranty company(worst experience ever) the warranty company sent out sunquest heating and air to diagnose the problem well all they did and they determined that the blower fan was bad and they failed to go over the entire unit the unit was also freezing up. Sunquest repaired the bad fan and left. 1 hour after leaving the unit wasn’t working again. I called the warranty company and told them I would like heat and air direct to come out and fix my unit. Heat and air direct came all the way from concord to mocksville today 6/11/2019 and spent all day working on my unit. turns out my unit had a bad txv valve witch was causing the coils to freeze up and also causing the blower motor to go bad so they repaired everything and even had to bolt my blower fan down because the previous company just shoved it back in. Heat and air direct is hands down one of the best company’s when it comes to customer service! They will take care of you and won’t leave till the job is done right I highly recommend them to anyone looking to have HVAC work done!
Called Heat and Air Direct 2 weeks ago for my elderly Grandmother who's AC was not working. Of course it was 90+ degrees that day, but Russell made time to work us in! They responded quickly, arrived on time, were dressed and presented themselves very professionally! The condenser fan motor was bad, but they had the right parts on the service truck and made the repair quickly. The area was cleaned up as nice as before their arrival and the price for the repair was very fair! This is a small town, professional crew that puts their customer's needs first and completes the job right, the first time! Highly recommended to help your family when that time comes!
