I would recommend Hayes heating & cooling to anyone with a heating unit issue. The technicians were professional and diligent in their efforts to repair our heating unit. Likewise they were more than willing to answer questions or concerns, along with maintaining agreed upon schedules.
We had a furnace go out unexpectedly in January, just 3 days before we were scheduled to leave town for 2 weeks. Hayes was able to get a new furnace installed within 48 hours, saving our trip! Installer Daniel Kelly was terrific, and was here installing the unit until almost 11PM. Thanks, Daniel and Hayes!!
Hayes heating & cooling is the most honest person we have ever done business with, he helped my dad, grandmother my brother and very reasonable prices...never told any of them they needed a whole new HVAC system. He fixed what was there all been working perfect ever since!!!! All I can say is wait for Hayes, not worth calling anyone else!!
My furnace was not heating. Called Hayes Heating, it was Nov. so I expected a long wait. One week later technician Daniel arrived. He was polite and through. Daniel quickly diagnosed my problem. He returned the next day, installed a new part. All was well, we thought. Daniel had to return two more times before my furnace was working. None of this was due to any lack on Daniel's part. American Standard parts failed to give him all the necessary pieces. This was a totally new item, so Daniel had no way of knowing it was incomplete. He worked me in during one of his busy days because it's now Dec and quite cold. Both Daniel and the office staff at Hayes Heating have gone more then the second mile to facilitate a good outcome. Thank you Daniel and Hayes Heating!! W. Kelly
Hayes Heating and Cooling office staff was pleasant and technician arrived during hours scheduled for a maintenance check on my 4 year old furnace. The technician indicated that my furnace was operating correctly, but he noted that a flex line was going through the case of the furnace and it should be a hard gas pipe line to be up to the earthquake code. Two other HVAC companies had been in previously for a non related problem with the furnace, not to mention the installer. Not one of them had mentioned this. Puzzled, I requested a safety check from PSE who repeated the Hayes Heating and Cooling tech’s evaluation without knowledge of the previous evaluation. I was extremely pleased that this potential hazard was brought to my attention and scheduled Hayes to bring my furnace up to code. This demonstrates how important it is to find a HVAC company that has qualified and conscientious technicians at a reasonable price. I will be scheduling them again and highly recommend them.
Hayes installed electric furnace. I have been a customer for years and will use them again.
Hayes first visit to our home for Furnace inspection resulted in repair estimate of approximately $2000 for Furnace Fan Motor and Capacitor. The Technician and I had a conversation regarding the system design and how varied opinions in the HVAC community can be around "how a system is designed and its perceived efficiency etc.". This inspection occurred on July 8th, 2022 - See photos attached of inspection comments (no mention of a required system replacement even though we discussed the system design) and the estimates for parts replacement and installation. Hayes second visit to the same home from above(with a potential home buyer) for "independent inspection" resulted in the Hayes technician providing a recommendation of complete system replacement at an estimated cost of $30,000. This visit occurred on September 1st 2022 and the Hayes recommendation was communicated directly to us by the intended home Buyer and Buyer Agent It would appear over a 7 week period the system that originally required a couple of replacement parts estimated at $2000 was designated as requiring a complete refit approximating $30,000. Both of the inspections and related recommendations came from the SAME TECHNICIAN. Will leave it to the reader to judge
They came to fix my furnace three weeks later it caught 🔥 fire . They claimed they weren't responsible. I hired another company to come out take pictures find out what happened . The heating element came lose arched started the fire 🔥 . Hayes was at fault . They hid wouldn't take calls threatened me with a lawyer. I read they've done this before . Terrible company. I'm seaking legal counsel.
My Heat Pump mini split and ducted air handler installation was completed yesterday. It was a big job done professional and well by Curtan, Will, Tyler, and another unnamed tech. Curtan was the tech who also did my initial quote. I want to point out the reason I chose Hayes was complete itemize transparency on the quote I agreed to and the value received. This sets Hayes apart from the competition because most HVAC companies will pull price without explanation on one line item which tells you nothing other than total cost but not how it was derived. Hayes also cleans up their job site when complete and left me with extensive knowledge of my Heat Pump system. Also want to thank Carlie and Darleen who answered my calls and responded to my inquiries. I appreciate you all and the team and look forward to working with you again for installs, service, and upgrades.
I really enjoyed working with Hayes. In these challenging times of inflation, supply chain, shortages, etc., Hayes was top notch. Our install was July 2022. Would recommend and will use again. Thank you.
Replaced my heater and water heater. Great service and communication at all time. Worth contacting for an estimate.
We just bought our home in March and since we got here Hayes has come through consistently for us in our tankless water heater needs, AC installation and even helping subcontract electricians for some work we needed done. Even with supply chain and labor shortages they’ve been prompt, professional, and have our home feeling cozy and ready for the summer! Highly recommend them to anyone in the area.
Very informative and observant.
When we bought our house about 10 years ago, our (dinosaur of a..) furnace had a Hayes Heating sticker on it (they installed it originally back in the day). We called them out for maintenance a couple of times - always friendly, timely & professional. Just this past Winter our furnace started acting up. No surprise as it was 25ish years old. They came out to give us a quote & installed a new furnace within the month. I have never had any issues with Hayes - the front desk staff is always so cheerful & helpful… would definitely recommend!
Darlene at the Front office and Service Tech Daniel we're fantastic. Even though their Supplier sent an incorrect part, they were on it and communicated well.
What? You Don't Sevice The System You Installed! For 12+ years spanning two houses I have been a loyal customer. Yet, being only 17.1 miles and 32 minutes from your office (by Google Maps), you won't service the two HAVC systems at my house that YOU INSTALLED. With you, loyalty is evidently a one-way street. Update: Hayes, your reply of 2/10/21 is weak and disengenous. No extended travel option was offered, my miles are correct, and your times are only possible during a concervable rush-hour situation. Consumers beware. Contraction of service is an indication this company is struggling to survive.
I can say after calling many companies, it is very difficult to get a furnace with supply chain issues. I was told that it would be 48 weeks to get a furnace if they had to order it. They worked with me through a lot of possibilties and got it done. The installer was clean and skilled. Also, they showed up to do the work on the day it was scheduled and stayed until it was done.
Hayes has done a fine job of servicing both our heating and AC units, though when our gas fireplace was not working correctly, I called to see if they service gas fireplaces and was happily told yes! Our service person Daniel was knowledgeable, thorough and very pleasant. And our fireplace is back up and running! Thank you!
Hayes Heating serviced my furnace and Tankless Water Heater. Shortly after being serviced my tankless water heater started leaking. When I call Hayes Heating on a Monday they said they could not respond until late Friday. I asked them what I should do without hot water for five days and they seemed unconcerned as it was my problem. I called the manufacturer of the unit and working with them figured out how to use the unit until a part could be replaced. The manufacture would ship the part to Hayes heating when Hayes called the Manufacturer. The manufacturer would not ship the part to me the customer. I asked Hayes heating to call and acquire the part and then schedule a time to install it. I heard nothing back from Hayes Heating so a week later I called them again. They said they had not heard back from the Manufacturer. Same routine for another week. A week later Hayes heating said they would get the part and send me an estimate to come and install it. They promised to provide an estimate by email by the next morning. That was 6 days ago and I have heard nothing from Hayes Heating. No call, no email, no response. Hayes Heating installed this tankless unit but it appears i will have to find another contractor to maintain it.
Great company with quality people. Use them!
