If you need a professional to come out to diagnose your heating issues, call Dan the Man! he was great. I was having heating issues and had another tech come out that spent a total of 10min just to tell me I need to upgrade my heating system (which is true, it’s the original system when I bought the house) but I'm not trying to spend thousands upon thousands to get it replaced at this time. So, Dan came by today and was very thorough trouble-shooting my heating issues and not only fixed the problem but provided excellent customer service with a follow-up call later in the same day to check if everything was working fine. I am HUGE on customer service and really appreciate businesses like HART Mechanical that gives customer service high priority. Thanks again Dan! I would highly recommend his company for any of your heating/AC issues.
I just had Dan Hart from Hart Mechanical, a family business, replace my entire HVAC system. Dan is extremely professional and also a regular friendly person . He called me the day before which was on a Sunday to let me know that he would be at my home between 8 and 9 AM on Monday morning. Dan and his brother arrived about 830-8:45 am. and went to work right away. They work diligently all day to get my entire system replaced. He knew I had to take the day off from work. They took a half hour lunch and went back to work right away. The last thing that they had to do was install the thermostat and make sure everything was running properly. Dan had a small problem getting the fan to come on ...but quickly figure out what was wrong and fix the problem immediately. It was my thermostat which needed a jumper wire in a different spot than the normal thermostat. Dan knows this business. Dan stayed until he was satisfied that my system was working properly including the air-conditioning and the heating. Dan also called me a few days after the system was replaced to make sure that it was still working properly and said that if I have any questions to not hesitate to call him. I did have a question and called him he answered his phone professionally and answered my questions. I highly recommend Dan Hart at Hart Mechanical for all of your air conditioning and heating needs.
Dan was very prompt and on time. Took his time checking out my A C system and fixed it. Answered all my questions and made no pressure sales pitch. Recommend Hart Mechanical highly
We had an issue with our swamp cooler not communicating with the thermostat so we put in a request with our Home Warranty. We have had this swamp cooler worked on before for a old thermostat as well as a bad fan, both which were easily fixed. When the mechanic came out for Hart, he said he was not familiar with the type of thermostat then proceeded to try to pull it from the wall. He then spent less than 20 minutes looking at the cooler, and then sent in a report to the Home Warranty that he didn't even want to estimate the cost of fixing it because he believed it was installed completely wrong. Mind you, we have had this worked on before, and it passed home buying inspection. The Home Warranty was going to stop coverage due to bad installation but we appealed and had another service provider come out. That provider was able to locate the issue after actually taking the panels down from the cooler (which the mechanic from Hart said he was unable to do), and find the fix. Would not recommend if your issue is with a swamp cooler as the mechanics are not properly educated on their workings. Update to reply: I didn't say you approved or denied my claim, your mechanic told the warranty that he didn't even want to submit a claim due to it being installed incorrectly, thus it was denied. Your mechanic not only damaged my wall by trying to pull out the thermostat incorrectly, but only spent 20 minutes looking at the swamp cooler. It has been fixed since, pretty easily, by a different company. The mechanic just removed the top panel and was able to access the issue easily. I asked him if it was installed incorrectly, and his words were as follows, "looks like every other swamp cooler to me."
We just had Dan Hart at our house to help us with our air conditioner. Luckily, all we needed was a capaciter. We just moved to the desert three weeks ago from San Francisco. We never needed air conditioning in the Bay Area so this is all new to us. Dan was quick and efficient and most importantly - he was honest. He also gave us tips on maintaining our AC to keep things running smoothly. We would suggest Dan Hart to anyone who needs help with their AC.
