We had a new Heat/AC installed in a day. Great work and great fellas 👏 Even made sure to answer all questions and cleaned up everything very well. . I recommend 👌 👏 👍 ☺️
DO NOT USE. I was assigned this contractor through my home warranty company. First, they lied to me about what the service contract included and said they couldn't check my A/C refrigerant level, which is in the contract. Then they berated me via text message, typed in all caps at me, and told me they would cancel the request. Then followed up and told me they would blacklist me from future service calls. Only to call the actual warranty company to find out, they refrigerant check is part of the contract. I told them that I was going to report them and they said the conversations are already monitored, which I thought was great until I contacted the home warranty company and found out that is also NOT true. I didn't think they had a reason to lie or be shady until I read the other Yelp reviews and realized IT LOOKS LIKE A LOT OF PEOPLE HAVE A POOR EXPERIENCE WITH THEM. I don't leave bad reviews often but yikes, they deserve others to know.
By far the best heating and cooling company
I am very pleased with this business! I was assigned them through my home warranty. I put in the service request Sunday night at 5 pm and the broken part in my furnace was fixed by 1:30 the next day. They had the part I needed in stock and came back the same day very happy with the service.
Exceptionally fast turnaround from call to our warranty company at 1a.m. of Dec. 27th, to service call on the 28th, and complete repair on two furnaces on the 29th. Deeply grateful for their professional and prompt service and kindness.
Techs were thorough in evaluating how well my furnace is functioning. I asked many questions and all were answered clearly and respectfully.
They were able to get me an appointment quickly and at my preferred time. They let me know when they were on their way. When they got here (right on time)they were kind and professional and explained everything they were doing. I would definitely call them again.
Troy and Andrew came to inspect our furnace before the cold season. They were very professional. They were very thorough. They showed up on the early side of the time window, so punctual. They were very informative with questions that we had for preventative maintenance. I was very happy with the service.
Very responsive and professional! Our AC didn't work and I emailed them at 9pm. They responded 10 minutes later and got me scheduled for the next day.
Hansen please accept accountability for poor service. And the reviews are correct. You all argue and blame the customer rather than simply completing jobs the correct way…and it’s all over text. Poor Service/Zero Accountability. Technicians are, however very polite and respectful. Waiting for service and then the service not solving the problem is tolerable. Disrespect and lack of customer care is a deal breaker.
Very pleased! Alex and Paul came out to do a factory recall repair on a furnace installed by someone else. 2 days previous to their arrival I had an a.c. problem come up and while they were here they went out of their way to diagnose and fit it at a very reasonable rate. They didn't know about the a.c. problem till they showed up that day. Thanks
STEAR CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY!!!!! Unless you enjoy being talked over and down to. I was assigned Hansen Mechanical through American Home Shield for a problem with my HVAC. It turned out there was leak in the system so I had the entire system replaced, I did not ask for a thermostat to be installed at the time as I had a new thermostat that I preferred. All seemed to be working well but when the weather started to change, I was not getting any heat despite which setting I used. I payed another service call to AHS for HM to come back out. The technician was really nice and stated the thermostat had gone bad and I needed to replace it. I went out that day and bought an identical thermostat to the original and installed it. The same issue continued so I contacted HM to see what they could figure out. The same technician came back out and installed a thermostat that they installed regularly and the heat was now working. Fast Forward to the weather changing and needing cool air, the unit would only produce heat despite the setting it was place on. I contacted HM as they had installed the thermostat and this is where I got to experience the Hansen Mechanical Heisman when asking them to look at the thermostat they installed. I was told that the thermostat install was only good for 30 days (it was January so how would I test if the cool air was from the unit of just ambient air ?) I was then told to reread my contract and that I had to pay an additional service fee to have them come out to look at the thermostat THEY installed. I believe it was the office manager I was speaking to but she was on the of the most condescending rude customer service people I have EVER dealt with. She continued to talk over me and reiterating that it MUST be the thermostat because they tested every piece of the system and it all worked great. Testing every component of a system independently doesn't guarantee the system works as a system. I was told that she would not diagnose this issue over th
Paul and Alex came and installed my new furnace. They were quick and everything looks great now that they’re finished. They explained how I can get a longer warranty and talked me through everything I needed to know from start to finish. I was working with them through a home warranty. The home warranty took forever and tried to get out of paying some of it but Alex warned me ahead of time so I wasn't caught off guard. I immediately noticed a difference in the efficiency of my new furnace.
They installed a whole house humidifier. Communication was great! Tech was professional. All around great experience! I highly recommend them and will use them again for any heating needs.
I am so happy with our technician, Paul. He was very polite and explained what happened thoroughly and answered all of my questions; I never once felt like I was asking stupid questions! I am so beyond happy with, both, the service and technician. I am also so very impressed with the speed in which I was able to get a technician out to look at the problem. I contacted my home warranty company in the morning and within a few hours of the claim being processed with the warranty company, I had my official appointment window with the technician. I also love the courtesy text to let me know when the technician was on the way; that is definitely a life saver having a better idea of when someone is going to arrive, so I don't have to wait during the whole window. Overall, I am beyond happy with everything!!
Heat pump broke on the outdoor "AC" unit, Hansen Mechanical was chosen by my Home Warranty company. The Technicians were early to arrive during both visits, were clean, professional, knowledgeable and polite/friendly. I would gladly use them again in the future given the option or preference. And would recommend them to any who asked.
We used a home warranty to just do a regular check up for our furnace. I wish we would have never requested. Our furnace worked just fine before their technician came. They broke something and now our furnace is not working. They refuse to send someone to fix it because it was through a home warranty, but the furnace stopped working the day they "checked" the furnace. Make sure you avoid this company. I am just disappointed that no one takes responsibility for their business.
My 25-year-old furnace didn't work anymore and I put a claim through my home warranty on Saturday night. Monday a tech was already out and fixed it temporarily, but showed me why it was no longer safe and I needed a new one. They handled it promptly through my home warranty, and by Thursday it was already installed. All three technicians were super nice, knowledgeable, and extremely patient with my 500 questions. The scheduling was fast and communication was great. I would definitely recommend Hansen Mechanical!
Hansen Mechanical was absolutely INCREDIBLE! My AC went out yesterday and they had a tech at my house at 11am today. For this time of year, that's incredible. My tech, (John) answered all of my questions, showed nothing but kindness and respect. I would choose and recommend John and Hansen Mechanical to anyone! Thank you!
We were going on vacation and our AC went out, usually American Home Warranty contractors takes 2-3 days to get stuffed fixed but they texted me the same night (after hours) and told me they’d be at my house first thing in the morning (on time) the tech was responsive, fast and very informative! And they fixed it and my AC working like brand new! Will hopefully use them again if needed!
