Ken installed a new boiler system a couple of years ago and boy, are we happy! He installed a new manifold that allowed each zone to operate independently, and more importantly, if one of the zones gets a leak, the other zones can continue to operate. We experienced a real cold spell over Thanksgiving last year and one of the pipes burst from the cold. Thankfully, the other zones kept the house warm and snug until he could move the pipe away from the wall and replace it. No more worries about frozen pipes! He also installed a new water heater for us as well. Ken also installed a new air conditioning system for us. Because we have a boiler, we only had window units in the past. Not only was this hard on the windows, it is getting hard on us too! Plus, we have to store five window AC units in the basement each year, so that was a pain. Ken devised a system where the air handler and the vents are installed in our attic and the condenser installed outside. It is wonderful to be able to flip a switch and have cool air! We feel that Ken has been honest with us, and given us good guidance. He is very quality conscience, and he doesn't leave a mess at the end of the day. He is a really good guy and we heartily recommend him!
Ken replaced the heat exchange in my HVAC unit for my restaurant. He was able to source the proper part and do the replacement in a timely manner. His communication and thoroughness were top notch. I will definitely use him for future services.
I've already used Ken a few times since buying the new house and have absolutely no complaints, Ken most recently replaced my water heater and the guy is always professional, quick, and efficient. He'll always answer any questions you have and will never rush. Will definitely continue to use his services- great guy!
In an earlier review of work done on our own house, I mentioned that we have recommended Ken Hansen to several friends. We recently called him for a replacement to an aging furnace at my mother's house. He provided a very reasonable quote and got the installation done, complete with a new thermostat and humidifier with very little turnaround time. We were so pleased to have my mother in his capable hands. And she may actually be able to read this new thermostat - an unexpected bonus.

We contacted Ken when our air conditioner was acting up. He kept the dinosaur running while he provided us with quotes and options that were far more reasonable than anyone else to replace our old unit. Ken came out and installed a new air conditioner and thermostat when he promised. He’s prompt, professional, courteous and friendly. My Furnace and A/C units were old and inefficient. Hansen Heating and Cooling was very patient with me in answering my questions and getting me set up with new units of good quality and at a very fair price. I was surprised with how quickly the install went. Ken did a follow up visit to make sure the system was running well and to check that I was happy with the work. Hansen H&C stands by their work. We later had a problem with the system not running right, but Ken was able to diagnose the problem and have the defective part changed out within 24-hours. The service all fell under warrantee and was at no cost to me. I highly recommend Hansen Heating and Cooling.
Ken is great! We had him install two humidifiers and couldn't be happier. He set us up with a system that is low maintenance and has been trouble free since install. Best Heating and Cooling Company around!
Ken installed a Mini Split System that we were able to purchase online and he was extremely professional and easy to work with. He came highly recommended from both friends and family and I could not be happier. There are closer HVAC companies but none will give you the attention you deserve....when you need it. BTW, I also called him on an emergency call on another unit, and he was "Right On It"! Could not ask for better customer service.
Ken was honest, reliable, affordable, and found a problem that we have been trying to solve for years with no avail with other services. He is THE BEST and will be our only go to guy from here forward!! Thank YOU Ken!!

During the summer, on a hot day, my AC stopped working. Ken arrived that same day, assisted with the issue and repaired it to have cool air going that very day. Not only did he repair it, but explained the reason why it stopped working and how to avoid it from happening again. 100% satisfied with his work and definitely will recommend & continue to do business with him.
