Paul came out to our house a few months ago and did the annual boiler service since we are moving soon. Last week In the middle of all of the chaos, for the first time in 28 years we ran Completely out of oil. The oil company made a delivery and the driver primed the system --- or so we thought. The boiler which is 3 years old was making a banging noise during the priming which had never done before, but driver said we were all set. I called Paul and described the noise and read codes that the boiler was showing. He said he would be down in a while to check it and told me a few possible issues there could be. * I should have at that time told him that we ran out of oil, but did not. After the system ran through a few more times the noise went away. Before I was able to call Paul back, he was at our door within the hour. He checked everything and luckily all was OK. He explained that due to the size of the filter, the driver should have Primed it a different way and after running a bit it eventually cleared out any excess air. I told Paul to let me know what I owed him and he told me we were all set. No charge. I work for a small company and realize how valuable-- and costly-- peoples time is and expected at the least a service call charge. Plus initially figured parts needing to be replaced and several hundreds dollars minimum cost. We have used Paul a number of times and he has always gotten back within 24 hours and come out in a timely manner. Anyone else that we know who has used Hannon has nothing, but positive things to say about his work. Highly recommend him if you are need of this type of service. We will be using him for our new house. Thanks again Paul-------
Paul did oil heating service with my property two years ago. I had him to do annual maintenance this year and he came up with a list repair quote. I have some question on the quote and asked him if those were old issue or new issue. He got upset and asked me to find another contractor. Paul did not like to resolve a conflict with a customer, rather he asked you to find another contractor. Very stressful experience with Hannon this time.
We called Hannon when our furnace stopped blowing air. They came out the same day and diagnosed the issue and ordered the part. The day the part arrived, they came straight to our house to fix it so we could have air conditioning again. And the price is so reasonable compared to other HVAC companies we have used in the past. This is our second experience with them and we will continue to return to them for all our HVAC needs. Highly recommend!!
After they serviced our boiler there was a water leak. They referred us to a plumber when in fact it was thier job to replace the relieve valve and flow vent which can drip from pressure from the boiler. Not trustworthy.
Awesome group of guys and reasonably priced. Very professional.
Paul was incredibly nice and honest during his several visits to us over two or so years. However, when we called and left messages for our usual winter and then spring check-ups, he NEVER responded. At first, we got worried that he might have gotten the virus and was very sick or even went out of business! But, we see he is still in business, and we are happy for him. However, it is most unprofessional to not at least return one of our many calls to say why he no longer wanted to service our system. Honestly, we remain shocked at his behavior. My neighbor has also put in a call. We are waiting to see if he calls her back!
Finding Paul from Hannon HVAC has been my best find yet! He has fixed both my AC units and my furnace. Typically, he is able to come out within a days time to at the very least take a look and offer a quote. More often than not he can actually fix any issues that day! He is always professional and prompt and the fairest price around. Not only does he do good work, but he cleans up after himself too. I have recommended him to numerous people and will continue to do so.
We used Hannon Heating and Air to replace our outdated Furnace and AC units. During my search for someone i got quotes from 2 other larger companies but their quotes were ridiculously high. (They were assuming I was going to go for the Mass Save loan, think they get more $. Which we were not) I reach out to Paul Hannon and he was very professional and stop by on a Saturday morning to take a look and got me my quote by Monday. We reviewed and asked a few follow up questions, which was answer timely and honestly. I highly recommend Hannon Heating and Air for anyone looking to have work done, Paul is an honest and down to earth kind guy, with reasonable pricing. ~The Murphy's
I’ve always had a great experience with Hannon Heating and Air. They respond right away, show up on time, and fix things so quickly. Their prices are very reasonable and their quality of work is awesome! My parents have since used Hannon and have also had a great experience! We highly recommend!!!
Paul performed a tune up to our boiler , which was stalling out, the day before Thanksgiving. A week later the problem re-occured (not due to anything he did ) and he responded within 30 minutes!! He suspected it was a minor "sludge" issue within the oil tank. He then replaced the new nozzle within the burner which had clogged again. He also recommended a fuel additive that would break down any sludge in the tank. Charge for coming over a 2nd time : ZERO!! He is officially the HVAC guy for this household!!
Paul Hannon saved us big time this week! We purchased our first home over the summer and prior to closing had the furnace inspected (due to its age) by a different company and it was confirmed to be in good working order. We went to turn our heat on for the first time last week and found that it wasn't working. We called the same company that originally inspected it and they came out and took a look at it for less than 10 seconds and immediately told us it would cost approximately $1500 to repair the seized motor but they strongly recommended replacing the entire furnace for $10,000. They also tried to upsell us on several expensive extras. As first time homeowners we were extremely stressed out hearing this and thankfully thought to get a second opinion. I called Paul Hannon the next morning at the recommendation of several neighbors. He got back to me promptly and came by that afternoon. He took a thorough look at our furnace and realized that there was debris that had fallen into the motor causing it to seize. He removed the debris and *VOILA* our heat turned on! We were overjoyed! He only charged us $99 for the visit and told us there is definitely no need to replace our furnace at this time. He was friendly, honest, and very knowledgeable. Goes to show you should always do your research and not be afraid to shop around if you're not satisfied with a quote or service. We're so thankful to Paul and thrilled to have someone we can trust with our HVAC needs going forward!
Never called me back
Paul is very honest and fair. He is very professional. I would 100% recommend him.
Great customer service and excellent pricing. Answered all my question, broke down the pricing which was less expensive than his competitors, and really went above and beyond. Takes great pride in his work. Highly recommend!
Billing is way over priced if you ask any questions about your bill you are immediately met with an unprofessional attitude also did work I didnt need done and charged me 800 also said I needed to replace my whole system got a second opinion they said my system was fine. Paul is a thief and should not be aloud to do business for anyone. Probably the worst company I have ever dealt with in the construction industry thanks for nothing paul!
Hannon Heating & Air Conditioning came to perform our Safety Check and cleaning and was very thorough and informative. He took the time to explain what he was doing and why. He spent time answering our questions and even gave us advice on how to get the most out of our oil boiler.
Unclear/Shady Billing Practices. You are told on the phone that you will be responsible for a call out fee (no problem) and parts and labor (also not problem). The problem is when you actually receive your bill and there is no breakdown for parts or labor, just a total. When you ask for the break down you get an unprofessional response from Paul stating it is a flat fee and there is no breakdown. Paying a flat fee vs. parts and labor as you agreed to are 2 completely different things. The fees that they say the keep low in the call out fee are baked into the flat fee. I would not recommend them for this reason. Find someone else that is clear about there billing practices and upfront with flat fees vs. parts and labor.
We recently needed to Paul to come out and look at a furnace he had serviced in the past. He was very accommodating for the time we needed and he showed up when he said he would. He did an outstanding job. And when we had to call him for something else that occurred, he was, again, accommodating. He returns calls and shows up when he says he will! I would confidently recommend Paul and his company should you be in needed of his services!
My furnace decided to stop working the day before temps were to drop into the single digits. Paul came out to our house at 7am next day, replaced an auto fill valve, and had everything back up and running in an hour. The thing we liked most though, is he walked us through what needed to be done right away and what could be put off until next time regular maintenance was done. That’s all I want from any service contractor. On time, reasonable pricing, and honesty. Can’t recommend enough.
Paul was wonderful! We lost our central air yesterday. After being given the run around at a place we used last year, we called him today. Lucky for us we found him!!! We had to keave a message, but with in 5 min he was on the phone with us. He gave us an estimated time he could get here & he was here in that time frame. He had the issue diagnosed & fixed in no tim. The price was fair & reasonable! I can't thank him enough! He certainly cares about his customers, new and old. We will use no one else!
