Had my yearly air conditioner checkup as usual, this company is the best. I have been a customer since 2013.
I forget his name, but he saved our Christmas! He came when 7 other companies wouldn't. It took him less than an hour and he was GREAT!
I called on a Sunday with no heat a week before Christmas. The guy helped me over the phone to fix the problem.
For the last 3 days I had issues with my furnace. It would cycle and cut off. My house temperature was 62 degrees. Not good when it's in the low 30's!! I had a service number on my furnace for Guaranteed Heating and cooling. I reached out to them around 4:30 pm. Within the hour I had service technician Ben working on my furnace . Ben was very professional. All my questions were answered. Now my house is at 69 degrees. All I can say is wow! Thank you Guaranteed Heating and cooling!
The service technician did a good job and got my AC fixed.
I have used Guarenteed a couple times therefore felt comfortable referring my son and daughter in law when their AC failed to turn on. After a brief assessment the technician told my daughter-in-law that he needed to replace the unit costing up to $8000. He didn't bother opening the unit to inspect it before telling her this. After she told him they were unwilling to pay that without a second opinion, he told her that "things are more expensive in this country," a statement he made a couple times. My daughter-in-law is an American citizen with English being her second language. She maintained it may be in her best interest to go with another company. He then proceeded with an offer to clean the unit for $600. She paid him the $100 service fee and declined further repairs. The next day she had a different company out who took into consideration the the state the unit was in and the amount of debris to be cleaned he charged a fee of $50 for this service. In addition to the service call charge, they paid $75 for the entire service. Since I was the one who made the recommendation, I feel somewhat responsible for the wasted time, money and more importantly the disrespect shown to my daughter-in-law. I did my research and determined the standard cost Cleaning an AC unit alone runs $50 to $200. Of course there are variables that impact cost, including amount of debris, size, ease of getting to areas within, etc. I will not be using or referring this company to anyone going forward.
Ben came to my house to give me a quote on switching from a heat pump to a gas furnace. He was thorough and explained everything to me. The day he came to install the furnace he and his team were efficient and did a great job! Ben and company were great to work with and I recommend if you need heating and cooling to give the a call. I was so concerned about making this switch since I was told by others it would be difficult at best. Ben and team did it and they waited for the gas company to come out and test the gas lines!
We have used Guaranteed Heating and Cooling for over 20 yrs and have always been pleased! Two years ago we had them install a Geothermal system. They did a great job and we have really saved on our heating cost! Highly Recommend.
Andrew was extremely helpful,he walked us through fixing our no heat issue during this awful frigid cold weather we're having over the phone in under 10 minutes tonight. He was very knowledgeable and patient! We have also used their services before for duct and vent cleaning as well as a thermostat in need of repair. Pricing is fair,and they've always been friendly! Highly recommend them and they were the first place we thought to call when we were panicked about our furnace not working properly...so glad we did! Doesn't hurt that they're 24 hour availability allows assistance anytime you need it!
I am very satified with the service and product from Guaranteed Heating and Cooling. The installers were very friendly and did excellent work! Highly recommend this company and will continue to use them for all my HVAC needs!
I've used Guaranteed over the last 6 years a handful of times. They've been over to my place once and a rental I manage about 3 times. They've always given me same day service of some kind and I can think of only one project that took more than a day. Tom is usually the guy I get. He's an old timer, no offense Tom :), that works the problem and shares a little advice and that's exactly what I'm looking for. If I had any criticism about the company it would be strongly recommending a new furnace after the basement flooding I had at the rental. I understand where they're coming from because we dropped $1000 on that repair and had another part go bad on us a couple weeks later but the home owner wasn't prepared to make such a large investment in a short amount of time. Our priorities at the time were to fix the flooding issue, take care of the tenant's immediate HVAC needs and then see what we can do next. But at the end of the day, even with an old flooded unit, they get things working again and that's what matters to me most and I'll continue to call them when the need arises.
Prompt. Arrived on time and did quality work and more than the original quote called for. Very pleased with the integrity of the business and saved thousands over competitors quotes.

Called last year, Thanksgiving morning, no heat. Guy was here in 2 1/2 hours. Had to order a part. Put it in the next day. Great service guy. Reasonable Holiday service call charge of $149. However, I still feel like a fool for paying a total of $450 for what turns out to be a $40 part.
I hired this company to fix my AC. He supposedly put in 2 parts; 1) part #35 MFD, $199 capacitor and 2) part # 2.5 MFD, $129 , $30 labor, and $95 service charge with a grand total cost of $453. I was devastated. He never gave me an estimate, he just did the work on my 14 year old air conditioner. I looked online and the part cost around $20. I tried to find justice through the Attorney General's office and the BBB to no avail. Guaranteed Heating said they needed to install the part to see if it would work and that they did not give refunds to customers who authorized the service and later changed their mind. I absolutely did not authorize the work. I am retired and on a fixed income. This has been a terrible hardship on me. Please beware!
Wouldn’t recommend at all. Called to get someone out as my furnace stopped working .. Ben says sure we will get someone right out, will give a call 20 minutes prior to arrival.. 2 hours later nothing, still sitting in the cold and had to contact someone else.
Very professional and affordable. We needed our whole-house humidifier replaced. They gave us a quick quote over the phone and came over a few days later. The technician was very professional and courteous. Did his work quickly, and spent the time to explain how to use the new humidifier. Gave us a professional opinion on different types of humidifiers and did not try to up-charge us on anything. Great job!
I would like to give Chris a shout out. A transformer in my neighborhood blew after Chris arrived to maitenence my furnace yesterday. He had to put everything back together in the dark with a flash light lol. He came back tonight to finish the job. It’s working great! I am very grateful, and appreciate his hard work.
Prompt. Professional service at a reasonable price... 75 for the capacitor and 150 for the weekend service call. As for people complaining about price... As plumbers say, "The washer costs 99 cents, $99 for knowing how to install it." If you want to be so cheap do it yourself.
