I wish I could provide 10 stars. We asked Julian to provide us with an assessment of our current system inefficiencies and solutions including a new Whole House Humidifier. The initial assessment was extremely helpful and thorough without adding cost. The Whole House Humidifier job was more complex than we initially thought but he was very professional, and went above and beyond while being considerate of cost. We also had his team help us same-day when we needed a Gas Valve Replacement for our heating system. Everyone was very calm, communicative, and honest. As a woman who works from home, I am most often in charge of coordinating repairs at our house. I was comfortable with Julian and his team and they listened to me. Even though I have a background in architecture most service techs completely disregard what I say. This was not the case here.
Julian from the Green Works, LLC is the best specialist in the field. Our HVAC system wasn't working. He came very quickly, diagnosed the problem, brought and replaced the part that was broken. Now our heating system is working perfectly. Our HVAC is over 20 years old, and some details needed replacement over the years. Julian is always doing everything perfectly, and the price of repairs is very reasonable. Thanks to him our HVAC is working for so many years. The same in Russian: Джулиан - Green Works, LLC - самый лучший специалист. У нас сломалась система обогрева. Он пришел очень быстро, заменил нужную деталь, теперь все прекрасно работает. Наша система обогрева - старая, ей больше 20 лет. Детали понемногу выходят из строя. Джулиан все чинит и поддерживает в рабочем состоянии, и делает все быстро, профессионально, и недорого.

Reached out to Julian when our hot water heater was due for replacement. He was super responsive and quick to provide a solution/suggestion for the new model. Even better he was available within 24hrs. Couldn't have been nicer in person and did the install quick and efficiently. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and use in the future for any plumbing work.
What a great experience! Julian and Tony were awesome to work with throughout the process of having one of our AC units replaced. Both were friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough in providing explanations of options. The initial maintenance visit from Tony showed that the unit likely needed to be replaced, but there was no pressure or scare tactics to oversell it like many companies who see an older unit try. Tony clearly explained what the issues were, and I appreciated that transparency. I was able to schedule Tony and the owner, Julian, to return to replace the unit within 48 hours of Tony's visit. I will definitely continue using Green Works to maintain and replace any HVAC machinery in the future.

Truly wonderful working with Julian. We recently bought a multi-unit building that needed A/C and he installed three levels worth of mini-splits. His estimate was far below competitors and the job was fantastic. He even came out after installation to check on everything and found one of the units wasn't condensing properly. He immediately fixed everything and went out of his way to make sure we were happy with job. Couldn't recommend Julian, his guys, or his work enough. We'll be using him in the future for our other HVAC needs!
Julian has saved my life multiple times in the last calendar year- first the heat wouldn't kick on before the coldest night in Chicago and today the AC wouldn't kick on when Chicago decided to give us summer a bit early. He is very responsive via txt while scheduling time to meet and extremely knowledgeable in his field. Both times we've met he figured out what was wrong. I can really sleep easy knowing I have him in my back pocket :). THANKS JULIAN!

Julian recently replaced pipes and a sink disposal in our kitchen. He is prompt and professional. He is a good communicator. He did a quality job at a good price. We finally have someone we can trust with our plumbing needs!
Julian has done an excellent job keeping my condo building's antique (converted coal) steam heater working. He has always been extremely fair and responsive. He blew me out of the water, though, when he called to inform me that our condo had overpaid on our last service and that he owed us $515. I never would have thought to question the bill and I just can't get over how honest Julian is.
I have used Green Works and Julian for AC as well as Water heater maintenance and he was very responsive, professional, polite, and thorough! I have already recommended him to multiple family members and friends even after the first time use. Highly Recommend him!
Greenworks is an amazing company! We had issues with our AC, and they came within 48 hours to repair the thermostat’s wiring. The price was very reasonable, and they were super friendly. Highly recommend!
Julian is amazing! He arrived on time, did excellent work and followed up with me to make sure my new furnace was working properly. When I had an expected problem with my heating he came out the same day to ensure everything was working as it should be. If you live in the Rodgers Park area you should definitely give Green Works a call for your heating and plumbing issues.

Julian just completed my install of my a/c. He knows his business well, and based on my description, he was able to give a quote sight unseen. He honored that quote and did not come back with nickle and dime items when it came time to install. His quote was very competitive. His install process was top rate. His helper, Ishmael, was very professional too. They left the site clean and neat. I would gladly and confidently recommend Julian and Green Works LLC. Very professional!!
Couldn't be more happy with this company. After years of dealing with rapacious HVAC companies in the city, doing business with Green Works was a breath of fresh air. My air conditioner decided to malfunction yesterday. This morning I called Green Works and spoke with Julian. He was able to get a technician out really fast. The problem was diagnosed very thoroughly and repaired very quickly. The price was also just incredibly fair and honest. I'm not used to that being the case here in Chicago. They didn't overcharge me or try to get me to buy anything I didn't need. If you live in Chicago and have a heating or cooling issue, this is the company to turn to. Trust me, I've dealt with all the other ones.
Julian is the man! I've used his services several times now and he's always very honest, open, fairly priced and gets the job done right the first time around. He has my business from here on out!
Julian is a great guy and was able to uninstall a 25 year old AC unit and install a replacement in only about a day! No easy feat for the third floor apartment with only a small stairwell, and definitely saved us from melting in our attic apartment during this summer heat! Couldn't recommend/thank him enough!
I have had both the owner and associate come to do work on our heating system. A heater was set up and hooked into existing ducts. Greenworks HVAC even came to check when I had a question about one of the heating ducts. It wasn't set up properly by the previous installer and it was fixed. As a small business owner myself, I really appreciate when companies see see customers as a value and treat them as such. The owner of this company is also a licensed plumber.
