We found Green Comfort Systems via a referral. We are in the long process of finishing our basement and needed some additional duct work completed. The work is complete and after our experience we thought it was important to check out the reviews. So this is the first time we are seeing where this company rates on google reviews, and it's legitamitely shocking to see GCS has a perfect 5 star standing. Here's some detail on what our 2 star experience was like... Kyle visited our basement first, and walked us through what should be done. Kyle was nice and professional. What we agreed to seemed to cover what was needed for our basement. Things were looking good! On the day of the work, Kyle was not here and two other crew members showed up. Instead of knowing what should be done, we had to walk them through exactly where we wanted vents to go. They seemed to have no solid idea on our project. Not a big deal, but not a professional look either. So they completed the job and then simply left. From our perspective at a glance, the work looked decent. However our general contractor showed the next day and called out multiple issues. The vents were not collared to align with the finished framing. The tape job on the vents was not flat, and instead amateur with ripples and bubbles. One of the new vents was not properly sealed on top so air was escaping instead of being properly pushed and contained in the ventilation system. The bathroom exhaust lacked sealant on the inside with obvious daylight blasting through. And to top things off, they broke our ethernet jack upstairs by pulling on the cord, so that needed to be replaced. Kyle returned and agreed to fix the issues. He apologized for the damage, but no discount on the service was offered. With no QC from Kyle or anyone else from GCS, if we didn't have our own contractor available to check the work, we'd have ended up with poorly installed, malfunctioning equipment. Woke up to a hot house. Called at 8 am and they said someone would be out mid morning. Guy arrived around 10 and we had ac back in no time. The guy was super nice and did a great job. The price was great also. If your looking for hvac service definitely use them.
I woke up with no AC. I called them at 7 am. They were there by 8. Found the problem right away and had it running very quickly. Very trustworthy company and I will use them from this day forward.
Probably one of the first times I've called a company out of the blue after looking at the reviews. This can often be misleading, but not this time. The company's technicians came to my house right after my call, explained what they were going to do, and did a follow-up when an issue occured the next day. Saturday, at that. Felipe is an employee you want with your company. He listened carefully and stayed until the problem was resolved - competant and compassionate. The cost for the job was very reasonable. Summer's coming. Call them to do your HVAC work.

I highly recommend Green Comfort Systems. I was having issues with my heat and they came out right away to diagnosis it. Kyle explained the problem and provided me with a bunch of affordable options to choose from. I ended up getting a new furnace and AC unit. They did the work quick and answered all of my questions. They were very professional and accommodated all of my requests. I will definitely be using them for future HVAC needs.

Came to Green Comfort Systems looking to get rid of my radiator heat and window AC units. They came out quickly and gave me multiple options at fair prices. Kyle was very easy to get in touch with and communicate with and always super helpful, as I had a few outside hiccups and set backs along the way that pushed back my timeline. Everyone was professional, flexible and patient and worked around my other contractors to get me the best result in the quickest timeframe my schedule allowed! I'm very happy with the end result! Quality company all around. My mom recommended Green Comfort. Erik had saved us on more than one occasion. When our old AC attic unit finally died, Erik gave us the best estimate by far, we should not have even bothered getting multiple estimates. Bruce and Matt replaced our attic and outdoor units all in one day and explained everything to us. Even with the slightest issues, Erik has responded right away. My wife and baby were alone one night and a blown fuse caused the thermostat to go out. She emailed Erik, who responded right away and even offered to come over that night if needed. He ended up being able to walk her through an easy fuse reset on our unlabeled breaker box, that solved the issue. Talk about dedication and quality service, these guys are in a class all their own. Great prices. Very responsive in putting together the quote for 2 new HVAC units. The installers were TOP NOTCH. They worked so hard on a sweltering day, including working in our attic for many hours. Can’t say enough good things about Kyle and his team!
Kyle at Green Comfort Sytems is a true and honest professional. Two other HVAC companies provided inflated estimates and recommended replacing major components at an enormous cost. Kyle provided a thorough assessment, fixed our AC in less than an hour and at a fraction of the cost. No additional parts needed. I highly recommend Kyle and his team of professionals. Had a new ductless system installed by Kyle and crew. Everything was installed within the agreed upon timeframe without any issues and the price was very reasonable. The crew made sure the work area was clean couldn’t even tell they were there. Everything was installed neatly and professionally. Kyle took the time to explain to me how to use the remotes to operate the units and how to care for them. From the initial estimate to finish I was very pleased with everyone I dealt with. Kyle was extremely responsive and capable. He helped get me get my new house back up and running after an unexpected issue caused us to be without AC at the beginning of the summer season. Kyle was knowledgeable, effective, and flexible in his work to resolve my issues. I would highly recommend Green Comfort Systems and Kyle for anyone in the MD / DC area who needs HVAC support.
In and out in 20 minutes- cleanly diagnosed the issue and charged reasonably for parts and labor. They also were able to get out in a timely manner given the hot weather is already here!
Eric came out and was super friendly and efficient in diagnosing and repairing our mini split just in time for the incoming heatwave. Prices were surprisingly much lower than than the other guys as well. Will always be using Green Comfort Systems for all my HVAC needs in the future!
Highly recommend green comfort systems.The price was great, they sent out a text to let us know they were on the way, and when we needed assistance they were there the same day to help us. Our new AC is making our house the coldest it’s ever been!
Green Comfort was great to work with. They were patient in answering all the questions we had, showed up on time, provided a fair and reasonable quote and made sure we were happy when they were done. They were also great with our 3 kids who followed them around watching them and commenting on their work. Thank you we are now living the cool life with quiet ACs we don’t have to lug around and put in windows.
I couldn’t be happier with the service i received from Kyle and his guys. We needed a maintenance on our hvac and Kyle was responsive and there the next day and fixed it right away. These guys were great. I’ve had other people come to look at my HVAC, but these guys just came in and gave it me straight. They even waved a maintenance cost because I’d wasted money on another HVAC company. These guys are the bees knees and will definitely be calling them for HVAC issues in the future.
