Grandview did a great job! They showed up on time and were responsive and prompt when I asked questions. They replaced my massive old dinosaur of a furnace with a nice new machine of the correct size. It's so much quieter and does a better job heating the house. The house is happier. I'm happy. Great investment. Thank you!

I just received a call at 7:30 PM from Chris and Grandview who stated, "we are scheduled to come out for the yearly service on the heating system." He rattled off my address as if they had been to my house before. I asked if he or Grandview has been to my house. He said he wasn't sure and then continued that they have serviced a lot of houses in my area. I am not pleased that I would blindly get a call that made it seem as if I had done business with them before. He tried to continue with his cold call sales pitch and I stopped him to tell him that I don't appreciate them insinuating that they had been to my house before. I have never done business with Grandview and due to this call I would never nor would I recommend.

This is a long review because I loathe this company. The TLDR is that this company is bad and they should feel bad. Allow me to tell my tale of Grandview Heating. I was on vacation last year when my furnace went out during a snowstorm. I frantically called around, got a few quotes, and decided to go with Grandview because they were reasonably priced. They had to reschedule the install of a new furnace because their installer broke his hand moving a fridge. Okay, said I, because I had no other options. The next day they came, just two guys, and one of them reeked of weed. Whatever, said I, my house is cold. Throughout the day, these two guys made all kinds of clanging in the crawlspace, eventually couldn't get the old furnace out so asked if it was okay to leave it. They got the new one working, then the guy asked me for some nails to put a board back in place. I didn't have any, and then he got upset that I had the audacity to not provide him tools for his job. He then proceeded to grumble and curse at the board as he very poorly put it back in, as if I couldn't hear him all of ten feet away. The furnace worked, so I washed my hands of the unpleasant installer (who, it turns out, was the one who had broken his hand the day before. Explain that one to me.). The furnace worked fine for about a year, at which point Grandview called to come do a free checkup. I agreed, they came, and said everything was hunky dory and also gave me an unsolicited quote on my water heater while they were here. Fine, whatever. A few weeks later, the furnace stopped working. I called Grandview and they came out, though the guy arrived without tools. He asked my wife for some tools, then cleaned a sensor on the furnace and proclaimed all okay. Three days later, it went out again. Annoyed to all hell, I called them again but it was a weekend and evidently they don't work on weekends. I left a message and they never got back to me. This is an HVAC company in Colorado in the winter, which

I usually do read reviews but for some reason this time I didn't. Lesson learned before having work done by these guys. And since you insisted on poking the beast.... In this case the 'doctor' called me to diagnose my boiler (for a relatively hefty fee) and since my water heater had recently quit working, I thought was a good idea. The 'doctor' then proceeds to give me a quote for some items they think need to be replaced. I don't have the money to do all 3, so I say I'd like 1 of the 3 done. Mind you my boiler system and hot water heat throughout the house is working just fine, this addition would increase efficiency, etc. They come to add the air eliminator and in the process of restarting the system when the pressure relief valve opens and spews scorching hot water across the room onto the walls and floor. Then the system seems to be stable and the tech leaves. Luckily I was watching the boiler otherwise this could have happened again and probably wouldn't have stopped, flooding my house in 190 degree water. I call and they say they can't help that night, so they leave me without heat that night (in winter). They call a third party to evaluate and the guy says that they should have told me about the possibility of the PRV not working and they should not have done the work to begin with (negligence). To summarize using their 'doctor' anecdote, this is like taking a healthy aging man, diagnosing him with a cold, and saying he needs surgery and instead of doing the surgery, just removing his leg instead. Now I have a boiler system on crutches. GG Edit: all plumbing pictures are my own work. Did it for $100 in 20 min. If you need plumbing work done, hit me up :)

Someone called my mother-in-law to see if she wanted to have her furnace checked. She had them come out and they said all kinds of stuff was wrong and told her how much it would cost. The service was $39. She wrote them a check. Then she got a notice in the mail demanding $60 something dollars and stating that her check bounced. She has never bounced a check in her life and she is 87 years old. She called them and they were wishy washy about the "bookkeeper". Then called back to apologize and say that next year would be free. In the meantime she drove to her bank because she was panicked and got a print out of them cashing the check prior to her getting that letter. They also tried to tell her she had used them the year before which was a lie. She did have it checked by another company and had $900 worth of work done for all to be ok. They did a random call and convinced an old lady to let them come over and then tried to get money from her!! Unbelievable.

Matt was very helpful in answering my questions and getting the water heater installed. As well as doing the check up on my furnace.

GH&V cold called me to setup an appointment. They then called to cancel after the appointment was supposed to have started. I asked them to lose my number. I rearranged my morning to accommodate this appointment. what a waste.

I am not one that takes the time to put reviews up . However I am doing it for this company because as a employee I really appreciate the opportunity to work with a company that truly cares about there employees as well as there customers . I work in the customer service side of the business and work hard to schedule appointments for our tech's to service the heating and cooling systems in the homes of home owners in the Denver metro surrounding area ..

They installed a new Air Conditioner and Furnace without pulling the permits required by the city and then tried to up sell me afterwards to make sure the work is legal. permits are a requirement by any city, to make sure that the work is viable BEFORE any work is done. Now I'm responsible if the work wasn't done properly. Do not use them, they are a reputable business.

Absolutely the best company I have ever used!!!! From the beginning of contact they were very polite and professional starting with the very first phone call I received. They called to offer me the promotion they had going on (which by the way is one hell of a deal) $59 for a full tune up and safety inspection on my furnace, water heater, and AC!!!!!!! Other companies were charging $120 if not more for the same service. I'd reccomend them to everyone and anyone!!!!! Absolutely by far the best HVAC company!!!

Really scummy telemarketing scam. They've apparently bought a list from some second rate data broker that had the wrong owner listed for the property. The number they called is also on both the state and federal no call lists, so it's illegal for them to call anyway. Don't trust a company that breaks the law in your home!
