Go Tankless of Colorado expertly installed a Navien condensing tankless water heater, natural gas powered, to replace an old style tank water heater in my home. We will be heating water on-demand, efficiently, for years ahead.
Lost my big tank hot water heater and within days of contacting Go Tankless I have endless hot water, plus was able to update my very old boiler heating system at the same time! Replaced with a new all in one system that is much much more efficient, and so much smaller!! Thanks to Dave and the whole team.
I've had a tankless hot water heater and tankless hot water for my circulating baseboard home heat for probably close to 20 years. In addition to being more efficient than my original home boiler and hot water heater, I was in the evacuation area for the Marshall fire. While some of the homes nearby had some significant smoke damage, I had no such damage because my home does not use a system that pulls in make-up fresh air (typical forced air system). Like many other things in life, you do need to have routine maintenance performed to keep the systems going and functioning in top shape, but that's true of just about any other kind of home heating system as well.
We elected to work with Dave after reviewing proposals from multiple other companies, and we found his pricing to be very reasonable for what our project involved. Dave replaced an older Munchkin natural gas boiler with a Navien NFC-250/175 combo boiler for us in May 2022. We had a very positive experience with him throughout the process of discussing and agreeing on the project specs, finalizing the contract, and the actual installation. Dave is knowledgeable, dedicated to his customer's satisfaction, a very reasonable guy to work with, and he completed a high quality job that we've been quite happy with. We highly recommend him based on our experience, and we do not typically write reviews like this. Our situation was somewhat unusual in that (i) we wanted to maintain the option to use the 80-gallon indirect hot water tank that we already owned to produce domestic hot water if we were not satisfied with the amount of hot water we got from the new Navien combo-boiler, and (ii) we wanted Dave to install a number of items that would help protect the new Navien such as air and dirt separators, and an external zone controller that would support some enhanced functionality of our circulator pumps. Dave was thoughtful and helpful in working through what would optimum, we agreed upon detailed specs including a listing of many of the key parts to be used, got all that into a contract, and then he went and installed what we agreed on as we agreed he would. In addition to the normal install of the Navien, our project involved Dave installing the plumbing required to support me being able to easily switch between domestic hot water being supplied by the Navien or from the 80-gallon indirect hot water tank that is set up as a heating zone on the boiler side of the Navien. Dave also installed a Taco zone controller, Calleffi DirtMag Pro, Spirotherm air/dirt separator, and aquastat on our dedicated hot water recirculation line. As an architect updating my house with a new tankless water heater, Dave Emmitt impressed me first with his knowledgeable response to initial questions about proper sizing and specifications.The installation went quickly and smoothly with attention to detail, code compliance, testing and start up, and clean up. We are very pleased with the quality of the Navien unit, especially the consistency of the water temperature and volume. Great job.
Dave at Go Tankless did an awesome job replacing our 50yo cast iron boiler and hot water heater with a combi boiler. I did my research and asked some tough questions and was not satisfied with the answers from four other companies who I received estimates from. They all suggested a boiler that was bigger than the data called for which was more expensive and likely to run less efficiently costing more over time. I was about to lower my expectations when I found Dave. It was obvious how knowledgeable he was, how much he cared about getting the details right, and how easy he was to talk to; all really important qualities! I was thrilled when his estimate was also the lowest. He sized our boiler a bit smaller like the data suggested. A few days after installation he came back to check everything was configured perfectly, checking water pressures and the temp and ppm of the exhaust. Our townhome is already so much more comfortable than it was before. No more cold basement from the fresh air ducts required by code because sealed combustion in a combi boiler doesn’t require them. That was a constant heat loss. And we got 50 sq. ft. of storage space, too. I am so happy I found Dave!
We finally upgraded to a tankless propane on-demand water heater and couldn't be happier. We were set on a particular size/brand/model that Go Tankless/ProCool of Colorado had in stock and could have installed, but instead assured us was over-kill and unnecessary.... Instead of upselling, they sold us on a smaller less-expensive model that is perfect for our home size and usage. We were impressed with their knowledge and experience, as well as their punctuality and quick installation. THANK YOU GO TANKLESS!
I highly recommend Go Tankless. Dave’s customer service is unmatched and he went above and beyond during a time of crisis. His knowledge of tankless systems is extensive.
OMG! What I have found! I'm sooo lucky to find Dave through my neighbor friend. Dave is a guy who is genuine, honest, very professional, very experienced, knowledgeable, and very kind! He came to my rental home and evaluated and fix my water heater with radiant floor heating system. He was the 2nd person to take a look at my system and found an issue to troubleshoot and he was out there in less than an hour. The 1st person who came to troubleshoot did not even fix the problem and quoted me for $15K to replace the entire system as it is going bad. I'm not sure if the 1st person is intentionally overcharged me to take advantage of my situation or comes from less knowledge and experience. However, I felt I found a hidden jam. Dave could have taken advantage of my situation but he certainly didn't as he believes in "Karma" just like I do. I'm writing his review here because his business should thrive. I highly recommend him and I am again using his expertise and service. Thank you, Dave, and Thank you my neighbor!
Our Navien tankless water heater went out, over a weekend of course. Dave call me back on a Saturday, walked me through his thoughts, and helped confirm we likely had a HX failure. We scheduled an appointment asap, Dave showed up (in a snow storm), took care of communicating with the manufacturer to confirm it was under warranty, and then came back (in another snow storm) to replace the HX once it arrived. Dave is responsive, honest, and committed. We really appreciated his efforts to get us hot water back. Thanks Dave!
We used them to install a tankless water heater and humidifier. They were very friendly and responsive, gave a fair quote, and did an excellent job on the system they installed.
Dave really helped us in a jam. He was there when we needed him and completely solved problem so our guests were never affected. Great timely service —we appreciate Dave!
Dave Emmit installed two heaters in our back house and replaced our 40+ year old boiler in the main house with a Navien combi boiler/hot water heater. He did such a great job on both houses and we couldn't be happier. His work is professional, his prices are reasonable and we would recommend Dave to anyone looking for a new system or a repair. Working with Dave to put a new heating system in my house was the BEST DECISION I've made all year! Dave was great the entire way through... from diagnosing to the final instal of an entirely new system. I recommend Dave to everyone I know!
I got a letter in the mail from Go Tankless a few weeks ago and just so happen to save it. And I am truly glad I did, because we had a furnace stop working and our HVAC company told us we would need to completely replace a 6-month old furnace, which was going to cost us $4.2k. I had been speaking with Dave for the better half of the day strategizing on how we might be able to replace the furnace with a tankless heater, and he offered to come out to our property at 6pm to just take a look. He ended up diagnosing that there was nothing wrong with the furnace and discovered that we just needed to refill the propane tank. It was a huge shock and relief that we had just dodge a $4k bullet. Thank you Dave for being so responsive, helping us out during the holidays, and for catching something that should have been the first thing the other company checked. We will certainly be shifting over to tankless heaters in the future!
I have worked with David Emmit since I lived in Morrison 20 years ago where he replaced an electric boiler with gas. Last week a hot water tank that came with my new how was leaking. I called a large plumber company who advertised on the actual hot water tank. They did come out the next day and after an hour gave a crazy price. I called Dave who spoke to me on the phone and gave a ballpark range that was almost half the price. He came out the next day and installed. He is always busy so I was pleasantly surprised. I had a small issue after he left, and he came back, fixed it and boom, we are making hot water. He knows his stuff. I hear he is teaching at one of the local colleges, imparting wisdom to the next generation. What he does is hard work, but he does it with a smile. Thank you Mr. Emmitt. (I usually just call him Dave).
I HUGE thank you to Dave Emmitt and Go Tankless!! Our Navien tankless water heater started leaking and not only did Dave come out to assess the situation within 4 hours of calling him, he was quickly able to diagnose the problems, contact Navien, confirm we were under warranty, and replace our unit within the next 24 hours!! We didn't miss one hot shower. In comparison another company came out and quickly stated the unit was broken and that we needed to buy a new one. That came with a quote of $8K. Go Tankless did the entire job for $800 due to their experience and great relationship with Navien. I would also like to thank Navien for their responsiveness on the warranty.
