Installed power vents and turbo vents on the roof over the years. We started using General Air in 1998. I always use the maintenance for summer and winter checkups. So far in all these years very good service. Tech even changed my high air filters in for me. Great Service

Came to repair my HVAC in June. Let me know it was older and needed replacement but tried to repair. Unit failed within a few days. I left for vacation. They were here two days later with a new unit. Installed in half a day. Repaired gas leak to the furnace no charge. They beat other quotes for new unit by large margin. Deducted repair cost from new unit price. When service is needed they are prompt and on time. Great people and service.

Ordered a part , they said it didn't get here early enough on Friday so my 80 yr old mom had NO HEAT FOR 5 DAYS because they said they don't work weekends.....seriously???? **** regarding their comment, We were told by their staff that the part DID arrive on that Friday but that they did not have enough staff or time to come install it. We were also told that they did NOT work weekends and that she would have to wait until Monday.

A couple of weeks ago I called and had a tech come out to diagnose the problem, lack of heat, and suggest possible solutions. He said they cannot replace heat strips due to safety concerns but never offered any solution. Before he left, I candidly asked him what are my options and his reply was the office will contact me. I expected to hear from them that day, but here we are about 2 weeks later and I have yet to receive a phone call to discuss repairing or replacing parts of my HVAC unit. Two major concerns I have with this irreputable company are:. 1. They like the integrity to follow through on a commitment and leave business sitting there any customer without a solution. 2. Without the use of space heaters, it is possible, albeit not likely, that authorities would have found two dead bodies and possibly two dead pets in the house as the technician who was unable to answer a simple question also turned off the unit without informing me before leaving. It was below freezing for at least two nights in a row during that time frame. Fortunately, I checked the thermostat a short while later and noticed the temperature had decreased, so I simply turned the unit back on to at least blow cool air and prevent hypothermia. In summary, if you like doing business with a company who could absolutely care less about your HVAC unit or your well-being, and a company that has no business ethics whatsoever, then General Air Service is the one for you.

When our very old system went out, general air service came and made every attempt to repair the unit. They worked tirelessly to try to fix the problem, but due to safety issues our system needed to be replaced. They installed a new system, as well as a new thermostat in an extremely timely manner. They went above and beyond to take care of us, and we will be using them for all our needs forever! We highly recommend this company.
