Dave is an amazing person, extremely competent technician, and a veteran. He helped me out when I really needed help. My brother has cancer and was blessed with a stem cell donor and was scheduled to be released Saturday. On Friday evening my AC went out. I troubleshoot it the best I could but there were at least 5 problems with multiple parts of the system. It was the perfect storm. I called at 7PM. Dave, the owner of the company said he would be there after dinner. He arrived and worked for several hours in the darkness repairing mice damage, troubleshooting and repairing multiple problems, braving the intense heat, and even a bee sting to fix the system and ensure it was working properly and we were comfortable. He even contacted me the next day to make sure all was well. He is an honest and good man and you can count on him.
We have had incredible experiences dealing with GEID Mechanical. Dave was very honest and direct with us the handful of times we needed him before selling our home, sometimes on short notice and around holidays. He was willing to offer up helpful DIY tips over the phone and went above and beyond when making house calls. During one of his visits, while replacing the air conditioner's condensate pump, he pointed out some shoddily-done, hazardous electrical work in the furnace, so he offered to rewire it and install a new outlet as well. Not to mention he was very friendly with a great sense of humor and even remembered things like how our dog is hard of hearing on subsequent visits. Truly fantastic - can't reccomend GEID Mechanical enough!

Dave has been servicing our furnace and air conditioner for two years, and I am very impressed with and appreciative of the quality of his service. He has helped us when we were in dire straits to get heat back in our house in the winter; he is on time; he is very reasonable with his pricing; and he clearly knows what he's doing, both with the furnace and the a/c. He is available especially on weekends and evenings, which is very convenient. Dave is extremely intelligent and is happy to explain any procedure to you, if you are interested. He is very friendly and down-to-earth, very kind with our dog, and a person of high integrity and honesty. I absolutely recommend him.
I will always reach out to David first in the future! Our furnace died and he was able to fix it same day. I couldn't be happier with the service that was provided and the price was extremely reasonable. He is very knowledgeable and he definitely tries to do the right fix, not necessarily the repair that will make the most money. Best HVAC company I have used so far since moving to the capital region.
Very knowledgeable and helpful, assisted me with diagnosing our furnace issues over the phone. We called many different companies for our furnace issues and this was the best support by far!

What a joke this company is on the website it says that he's open its 5:47 in the afternoon I called the guy on the phone to Simply ask him to please send a technician over to deal with the thermostat issue didn't matter what it would cost that I needed this done right now the guy gives me some sad story about how it's out of his way I'm sorry I thought great customer service means sometimes going out of your way especially when you advertise that you cover this area this company is a joke and with multiple agents in the same area I would definitely choose another just like I did
This is my first time using Dave from GEID and I would definitely call him again. He was early for appointment and spent 2 hours servicing my air conditioning unit on a 90 degree day. Honest and fair pricing. So far so good, I would use his services again.
