This is the third ac unit installed by Gautier's and all 3 times have been perfect.
We used Gauthier for an A/C repair at our commercial shop. They came out quickly and got our A/C working within 20 minutes. Great service, would highly recommend!

Highly recommend! AC was down and they were able to squeeze me in for a same day appointment. They were not only on time but early! The guys quickly identified the problem (faulty thermostat) and we’re upfront about all the costs. Friendly and professional.
My AC had been turning on and shutting off every 30 seconds for the last two nights. So I decided to do a little digging myself, my Nest Thermostat calls out the yellow wire (cooling) not being wired correctly with an E103 error code, pretty much an overcurrent (voltage spikes) and it shuts off the system. I checked the wiring myself but refused to do any component swapping or troubleshooting. All the research I've done pointed toward the contact switch. That's when I called Gauthier AC, and the owner Kevin came out with his assistant on the same day. The first thing he asked to see was the thermostat. Showing him the wiring and the error code, he tries to blame the thermostat for not sending voltage to the contact switch. Next thing we do is go up into the attic where he takes off the panel. He checks the wiring, everything seemed correct, he takes the yellow (from thermostat) and red wire (going to contact switch at condensor) apart. The AC system in the house kicks on (not the outside unit) and stays on. It usually cuts off after 30 seconds. This time it stayed on for over 2 mins while he's holding a DMM between the wires to see if the thermostat stops sending a 24v signal. It never does. He puts the wires back together, within 15 seconds the unit kicks off. As we're about to go check the contact switch, he decides to bypass my thermostat by hooking the red wire directly to the other red wires (I guess ran power to the contact switch?). Within seconds, they noticed a noise coming from the unit, a buzzing. The transformer begins to smoke. He powers the unit off after it smoked, pulls the transformer out from the unit, and tested it with his DMM. He claims the transformer was bad and is my issue, then continues to try to tell me I need a brand new AC unit. That my 14 yr old unit is too old and that he wouldn't advise putting parts into it. Amazing service! Showed up 15 minutes after the phone call and totally revived my old AC unit back to its former glory! They were both incredibly friendly and incredibly knowledgeable. Explained everything they were doing, worked quickly, provided options, and offered very reasonable prices. Definitely calling them again if I ever have any problems!
Randall and Kevin were amazing!!! They literally came to my home an hour earlier than scheduled. And 15 minutes later I had air. Then in another 20 minutes, I had heat. I will recommend those 2 guys anytime
After trying two other companies, I called Gauthier. Not only did Kevin come out the same day, he explained everything he was doing, made sure I was comfortable with repairs and prices, was able to have the part installed the very next day and the cost was more than fair. I highly recommend him!
Used this company to repair a leaking central air unit. Initially it was fixed but quickly returned. They came back and found a simple I ssue that should have been noticed the first time. This still did not fix the issue. From this point on I could rarely get a hold of them to fix it and eventually they clearly began screening my calls and I could not get a hold of them. It was never resolved. I would never use them again.
Mr. Gauthier came out the same day I called. They diagnosed the problem, got the part and fixed my ac within an 1 1/2 hours. My ac works great! This company is very professional and took the time to answer all my questions. I would recommend this company to family and friends. — Matt

Disappointed in service. I was charged $95.00 for nothing. Called for service after AC went out on the 4th of July. After checking out a few things, I was told I needed a new AC system. I wasn't satisfied with his diagnosis, I called someone else out who fixed my problem. I contacted this company based on reviews so make sure you check things thoroughly.
This man charge me $600 to fix my air conditioner. Since he touched it I have had nothing but problems with it. finally after 10 days of dealing with no air-conditioning and it dripping from my ceiling which is now damaged I called someone else because he wouldn’t respond or fix the problems he caused. Ridiculous. Don’t use this man. He Makes excuses and doesn’t take responsibility for his shotty work. So now I’m out $600 and my ac didn’t get fixed. Totally disgusted with his service.

I made an appointment with this guy, took the day off work, and then he never showed up, or even replied to my texts. Kept me waiting all day, and then ghosted.
I highly recommend this heating contractor to others living in New Orleans, LA for any HVAC related work. He shows up on time, makes time for you, and quickly finds the problems. Much to my surprise, he was able to come literally straight after my call! He was meticulous with fixing my heater yesterday. Make the call! You won’t regret your choice for a contractor!
