John did an excellent job cleaning and tuning our oil burner. He was happy to explain what he was doing to me (a new home owner) and show me little things that I could do on my own. He spent extra time cleaning our especially sooty burner and didn't ask for anything beyond the standard tune-up price until I just about forced him to. He also was ablet to get our flue gases (like CO) much lower than the tune-up that the previous owner had done. Highly recommend.
Update January 2022: I worked with Garrison City HVAC again and would not go anywhere else. He installed another system for me at another property and I couldn't be happier. Do not hesitate to work with them, I've called all the rest and have had the best experience with John. He's trustworthy, honest, and very good at what he does. Update August 2021: I have now used Garrison city 3-4 times for service and twice for full hvac installs of all new heating/cooling systems. They are professional, hardworking and do a great job for a reasonable price. In fact, if I had a complaint it's that I can't get him to drive an hour+ north to help me at my new house... he's that good, that I can't find someone comparable that I trust. This is a great family-owned business that does top notch work. If you are on the fence in the seacoast area, do not hesitate to call them. Previous Review: The company is a pleasure to work with. So far, they have worked with us for an hvac inspection, 2 service calls, and a new air conditioner and furnace installation. John is very professional and knowledgeable and can answer questions quickly. They are very responsive, and I'm happy we started working with them. We got quotes from several other companies and John is the one I felt most comfortable with and trusted to do the work. We recently had them replace our heater and air conditioner and so far, the experience has been great. For one, he was on time, whenever he said he'd be there, he was there, and I'm not even sure he took a break. John is great, understands what he's doing, and makes customers feel at ease with their decision. Overall, if you want fair prices from a professional, this is a good company to work with.
John is professional, proficient and reliable. I trust his judgement and highly recommend him. Kristen will make a punctual appointment and is easy to work with. I'm so glad I found them.
Jon was great. Timely efficient and reasonably priced. He didn't nickle and dime like some of the big guys do. A good HVAC service is hard to find but will definitely use again and recommend to others.

We have had John service our heating system several times over the last couple of years and 2 of our past residences. He is very professional, knowledgeable, and takes the time to explain the details of the work. Most recently we had some strange behavior from the furnace directly after the service, John quickly came out that same day and resolved the issues. I would recommend GCHVACR to anyone with heating and cooling needs.
John and the team at Garrison HVAC are the absolute best service provider in New Hampshire. Fast, friendly and reliable service and John is a nice and honest person. Today is a great example of how awesome they are. Texted at 8am. Call back and appointment booked by 9am. They are squeezing me in because they know how much I hate being hot! :)

We are very happy to have learned of Garrison City HVAC. At a time in early January when our heat was down, John’s company was responsive to our phone calls and scheduled with us, a new customer, within a day. John was professional upon arrival, knowledgeable of our system, and remediated our issue promptly. We would recommend John and Garrison City HVAC to any of our neighbors and friends. (The former company we worked with, Genesis Plumbing & Heating out of Goffstown, left us hung out to dry at this time in January. Dennis’ response to my “no heat” call was to tell me that my home was too far away from his shop and to find another company.)
John (owner) and Garrison City HVAC were fantastic, from the receptionist to the actual install. John installed a new water heater for me on a couple days notice. He was knowledgeable, polished, professional and friendly. The new water heater works great and the work space was spotlessly clean after the job. I will absolutely use Garrison City HVAC each and every time I need something serviced or replaced. If you are in need of any HVAC services this is the company you want to use without question.
We had a leak in the 3rd floor ceiling due to a condensation leak from the A/C unit in the attic. John was at our house in no time and he made the needed repairs! He's very responsive and customer-focused.
5 stars isn’t enough! I’m a new customer of Garrison City HVACR and will be for life. John LeFebvre has provided me with exceptional service, incredible value, and personal attention to details which eased my stress during a home sale. Always on time and returns calls promptly. Including my Friday night panic call on a holiday weekend when he took the time to resolve some issues I had. A good HVAC professional is tough to find. John is exceptional and you should become his customer. Very reasonable pricing is the icing on the cake.
Very happy with the service provided, While many other places I called gave me the run around. John answered immediately and was there within a half hour like he said, Honest, Polite and , Great pricing. Will continue to have my business.
We had no hot water and needed help. We first contacted another company that gave us an estimate of almost $3k to fix. John (the owner at Garrison City) fixed it for $300! He also took consideration to have parts on hand that we might need if the problem was worse than expected. It happened that we did not need them and we appreciate the honesty.
I called John for an emergency boiler cleaning. He told me he could make it in 15 minutes. Fast and friendly service. He was very knowledgeable and happy to answer all of my questions. Very reasonable prices as well. I highly recommend him!
John provides fast and professional service. He was able to work on my walk in florist cooler, which is not always an easy task. When you're looking for a HVAC company in Dover, NH, look no further.
I arrived home one evening this winter to find the temperature in my home was 80 degrees. It turned out my thermostat had failed calling for heat so I called John at Garrison City HVAC. He suggested a Honeywell unit that was controllable by my iPhone (or iPad) app as well as the wall unit. This thermostat operates both my heat and A/C making it a bit complicated. John installed it, showed me how to down load the app to my phone and thoroughly explained how it works. All this for a very reasonable fee. I highly recommend Garrison City HVAC.
