Was without heat for a month and a half because another company told me it needed to be replaced. Mike was able to fix the problem and make sure there wasn’t any CO2 detected! My family is very grateful! We highly recommend Friello & Sons!!!!
Highly recommend Friello and sons, the owner Mike is patient very professional. Extremely accommodating and even called to check on the AC unit and hot water tank days after installation. Major attention to detail and so friendly. I could not recommend them enough
EDIT/UPDATE: since installing we have had to have Freon added yearly. Last summer after Friello’s last visit(summer 2021), they were to have come back and repair the issue that they found was causing the leak. They never returned so we paid another company several hours of repair time. This was disappointing to us be yo truly believe in supporting our local and small businesses. I found Friello and Sons via the NYSERDA website as a "Home Performance with ENERGY STAR®" contractor. Once I was approved for a home energy assessment, I looked for a small, locally owned company. My first contact was with Mike, the owner of this company. He put me in contact with Wayne Roberts who did our assessment. Wayne prepared all required documentation that the NYSERDA program requires. Wayne also provided a lot of information about the EFS loans/programs as well as rebate information that would be available. Mike was very helpful throughout the entire process. The devil is in the details and he suffered my onslaught of constant questions and questioning with patience and humor. He is very open and responsive to communication. We converted from oil to gas. This required National Grid to come out and install a gas line from the road. Friello and Sons this coordinated as well after my initial application to National Grid. My oil tank was removed, insulation added to the attic as well as blown into the walls, new furnace installed, cooling system installed, a tankless water heater was also installed. While this endeavor was expensive, it is being financed and paid via my electric bill. You want a full service over-haul of your heating/cooling system? You want friendly people? You want fair pricing? You want good service? I highly recommend Friello and Sons.
About 6 weeks ago Mike and Adam installed 5 mini split units in our house. Our house won't accommodate central air and I resisted the units for years. They were efficient, proficient, knowledgeable and attentive, fun and neat... left no mess. For the last few weeks we could only use the heat which works great. But the last couple days, in this heat....I can't tell u how wonderful it is to come in from a kid's ball game to a cool quiet house... not loud air conditioners blocking windows and blasting us.. I highly recommend the system and Mike and company.
We have a very old house with all its related HVAC problems. We've had them do an energy assessment, blow insulation, boiler maintenance, install a heat pump and fan, replace valves on old cast iron radiators and pump on the boiler. Each time, quote was less expensive than other estimates and they're just nice folks. 100% recommend.
