My AC was really struggling to keep our house cool during the daytime last summer, I would set the thermostat to 74° & by 5:00 pm it was 80° in the house. So at the start of this summer I called Freedom Mechanical to come check my Freon levels. Frank. the tech said that the Freon was not the issue and he replaced 2 different electronic components on my outdoor condensing unit & the repairs fix my problem & it cut my electric bill in half, i went from a July electric bill of $325.00 last summer to $142.00 this year, the savings on my electric bill has already paid for the cost of the repairs. In my experience, I have realized that most Air Conditioning companies are worthless. They give you wrong information. They don’t fix what’s wrong. They overcharge you. They don’t show up. Maybe because it’s South Texas and there is plenty of work in the air conditioning business? Freedom Mechanical is different. This customer service oriented company took care of us. Salina responded quickly and professionally. The service tech (Richard) walked us through our unit showing us the good and the bad. He gave us suggestions and answers. He fixed our unit at a reasonable price and we now have cold air! We also had a question concerning a problem we had for the last 8 years. Finally an air conditioning company that listens! I am getting together my own list of who to call (like an Angie’s List)...Freedom Mechanical for air conditioning.
I have been using Dana for 7 years on Mri and CT chiller repairs and installations. He is very professional and knows what the heck he’s doing. Exceptional on the German made Kraus chillers.

Freedom mechanical is awesome. Called them Friday almost closing time and they had technition out Sat. No extra frees. I want to thank tech Richard, he was a prompt courteous young man did awesome job. Fixed us right up and good pricing. Will for sure use them again if needed and will refer them. The fan in my air-handler went out and after a phone call, a very pleasant and qualified technician was at my house 3 hours later. He diagnosed the problem promptly and ordered the new fan, which was still under the factory warranty! A few hours after the new fan was shipped to them, the tech was on his way to my house and had it installed and running in less than an hour. I highly recommend Freedom Mechanical USA for your next AC/Heat service. They are efficient in their service, accurate in their estimates, and more than fair with their prices. It pays to shop LOCAL when you can!
This is the absolute best AC company in the area!!! They truly do put themselves in the customer's shoes, and go above and beyond to get you the service needed. They are kind, caring and very dependable. I highly recommend them!!
Have used this company several times over 10 years. Always receive fast, affordable, quality service. Last visit we had a miscommunication and the wrong unit was worked on. He repaired everything we needed and comped the entire bill. Above and beyond.
Called on a Friday evening (Labor Day weekend) because our a/c was not working. They actually answered after 6pm and had someone out on Saturday morning. The problem was diagnosed, but couldn't be fixed until the following week. They gave me 3 options and then completed the work in a professional manner, and for the bid they gave me, before the following weekend. Very nice, professional, responsive. I would not hesitate to use them again or to recommend them.
