My A/C was working, Foxconn came out to do a tune up, now it doesn't. Initially I blamed Foxconn, however, I've decided to wait and see what the resolution is once it's working again. Leaving one star for now, but we'll see.

Nice people! Professional, showed up early on both occasions, gave us realistic expectations Showed us work they were doing, taught us about maintaining Also could tell they are family oriented. From calls to updates they were on top of it. Our home warranty company recommended them and we will use them again with our maintenance plan. Thank you for helping us!!

Used AHS for a broken furnace. Foxcroft came and spent 5 mins and said it was a broken heating exchanger and Id need a new furnace. Foxcraft said I would have to pay $4,100 for upgrade pipes and whatnot to install the "free" new furnace from AHS. Got a 2nd opinion because I called BS. Second opinion spent 20 minutes performing a diagnostic. Turns out it was not the heating exchanger and he repaired on site. 2nd opinion was Dawson Services *response to their reply* Your assessment could be right.. Or Your technician came in, spent 5 min, said it was the heat exchanger and shut off gas, aggressive move(but warranted if the heat exchanger went bad.) Ran no diagnostic test, or perform any other task besides shinning a flashlight. Hell, he didn't even look at the thermostat, he had me turn the heat on. Now foxcroft gets thousands of dollars instead of a few hundred for the repair. Moral of the story, both options are possible but ALWAYS get a second opinion.

Inspected my HVAC unit and then a month later some of the wiring burnt and caught fire. They then diagnosed it as a power surge even though an electrician and another HVAC company said it clearly was not. Ended in me not having the unit covered by my home warranty.

Dan was on-time, texted and called giving ample notice before he was going to be at our house, went right to work fixing our hvac issue, and was very friendly and informative about what the issue was with our hvac issue. He was very knowledgeable about my system in my house and quickly resolved the problem. We will definitely use them again in the future.

We had a company come out to do a semi-annual furnace inspection and they identified a few issues, including a few critical safety issues. They highly recommended that we replace the unit as it is not safe to operate. We put a service request through American Home Shield and they sent Foxcroft out to take a look. The tech was only here 15 - 20 minutes and stated that there was nothing wrong with the furnace. I went back to AHS and they sent another company for a 2nd opinion. The company that came out for the 2nd opinion agreed with the first company, the unit was not safe to operate due to multiple issues including separation in the heat exchange, high CO2 levels, and the unit overheating. The fact that the tech can miss multiple issues, especially issues regarding the safe operation of a gas furnace is concerning. Needless to say, the furnace will be replaced within the next week by another company. I would not recommend Foxcroft for your heating needs. Response to their reply: The unit tripped 3 times in a 25 minute span due to overheating. The company that conducted the 2nd opinion found the same exact issues as the first before I showed him the report and pictures. The unit is 19 years old, but I don't think anyone has a desire to spend thousands of dollars on what is not covered by a warranty company. I'll be more than happy to share the reports and images taken as well as the errors recorded by the NEST thermostat when the furnace began to overheat. If the tech would have spent more than 15 - 20 minutes, he would have maybe seen it begin to trip and identified the previously mentioned issues.

Drastically over charged for R22 for air conditioner. We got ripped off. Called around for some price quotes from other hvac places and they were $120 to $150 per pound cheaper. AHS needs to stop sending them out. They cheat people. Wonder who pocketed that extra money!

No words can describe my feelings towards a place that is supposed to provide any type of humane service to someone’s house and ….……Well to be honest, nothing in this world surprises me anymore.

Another contractor for AHS company that has horrible service. Our AC condenser motor went out and FoxCroft was dispatched. The guy installed a new motor after telling me that I had to pay for the motor because AHS wouldn’t cover it. I reluctantly paid and unfortunately it didn’t last but 12 hours before it died. His installation was horrible, leaving wires exposed to the sun to eventually rot. I called AHS to find out he never called the order in so he had to repay us the money he had previously charged. I am then told they would have to order a new motor but no ETA was given. After a week, I ended up buying a motor and installing it myself. This company should not be part of AHS. I would not recommend this company. Poor service, use cheap materials, poor installation, poor customer service.

These guys are great and professional my grandmother‘s AC unit was making a loud noise so not a top priority once they made it out they quickly diagnosed it. Unfortunately American home warranty wouldn’t fix it because it still worked even though it was obviously going to stop working. It completely stopped four days later. I called Foxcroft first thing he’s already working on ordering a new unit while I reach back to American home warranty. Foxcroft is great. This American home warranty company on the other hand we could’ve already had the new unit ordered if it was handled properly by them.

Started off ok. On July 17th, Dan (owner) came to service my unit, 3 weeks after a previous service to refill the refrigerant. Technician stated I have a leak and will most likely need a new unit. Sure enough, came home from a long weekend trip to no A/C. Foxcroft was dispatched by my warranty company. Dan identified the leak. Given the expense to get it up and running 3 weeks prior and now needing about 5k to get it going with the leak repair, it made sense to replace the entire unit for a new one. Dan was here on a Sunday. He stated he would send me an estimate for replacement when he got home that evening and to expect around 6wks. Of course stating the delay because of Covid and supply chain. Well here we are on Aug 8th and have never heard from him. Seeing the reviews, I guess I shouldn't be so surprised. Thank goodness I called another company on July 18th in the morning to get a competing estimate. They were there the same day for an estimate. I told this 2nd company I would give Foxcroft til 12p on the 19th and if I didn't hear from Dan, I would use them. I contacted Watkins at 12p on Tuesday and I had a brand new unit installed that Friday. Save yourself the trouble and stress, there are better options out there. Love the response "sorry that our time frame didn't fit your needs". My issue isn't the time frame. The issue is Dan, as the owner, didn't fulfill HIS timeframe. I was to receive an estimate that evening. Those are YOUR words and YOUR timeframe.

Foxcroft was very prompt with returning phone calls and getting me scheduled for services. once they came out and took a look at the unit they quickly found the issue and got it submitted to our home warranty for approval.
