A clogged sewer main is never fun, especially not on a Saturday. Both responders were timely and found the blockage which ultimately became the city's issue.

The technician showed up on time, saw what the problem was and got right to work. The drain was cleaned and the toilet reset at some point.
Charged me $150 and didn't come back with the parts because it was a liability?? I am sorry but flame sensors and continuous relays are normal fixes on boilers. I feel that people should fix what they said they would and put the "fee" towards the final bill. I felt cheated as most people do these day by tradesmen. Got someone else to do it and everything is totally fine. Ahmaud was nice, but I wouldn't chose them again especially if it was an emergency.

Despite the historical plumbing difficulties we were having in the past, when they took over everything was done professionally and with the right results. They listened and used his skills to solve problems.
They're the best! I was having trouble with my boiler and radiant heating, but these guys know everything there is to know about home comfort. When they came out it turned out that all of their expertise applied not just for boilers or plumbing--they fixed whatever problem i had in a jiffy too so now we have warm floors again without any fuss from us :)

My boiler didn't turn on, I spoke to George on the phone he is knowledgable on what my boiler problem was and he know which of his technicains to send that was familiar with my boiler brand. He sent Ahmed and he was GREAT!!! He explained to me what had happened to the boiler and why and had it up and running in no time.
Absolutely 1st class service. Called them and they came out and fixed my boiler in no time. Peter was polite, friendly staff and a very reasonable price. I highly recommend.

Excellent, swift, friendly and competitive service to repair our boiler
This is the only place that I found that knew how to work on my Navien tankless water heater and thank god I found them because being without hot water is a nightmare. Ahmed really knew the Navien product so good that he trouble shoot the issue in 5 minutes and had me up and running the same day. Highly recommend
Amazing company! I came home from a long vacation and found a mini lake in my kitchen. The pipes under the kitchen sink had obviously leaked for days before I returned home. I called these guys and was told I needed to replace all the piping; I was quoted a good price and gave the ok for the tech to start working. After working for a few minutes the tech realized it was a much smaller problem and updated me with the new price. This guy could have easily ripped me off and not notified me what was going on. I really appreciate the honesty.
Mike was very transparent and fair with the pricing, service was excellent, fixed the problem immediately. I have tenants living in the house, so I have always worried every time I have had to call for plumbers or any other service that I am going to get gouged on price, but this was definitely not the case with Fort Greene Plumbing and Heating. Mike explained exactly what was going on, what parts needed to be replaced, even did a complimentary check up on the water heater to make sure everything was running properly shortly thereafter. Very professionally run company. Going forward I will work exclusively with Fort Greene Plumbing and Heating, and highly recommend them to anyone in the Fort Greene area.
