John the technician talked me through the entire process. Although there was a slight disconnect about breaker tripping vs manually turning it off. AC stop blowing cool air, Called around a to a few companies, Nextdoor, helped my decision, Nothing but good comments online for this company so I decided this is the one. From start to finish, customer service was excellent. I bought an additional item necessary not necessary. Knowledgeable professional and friendly. He ask if I had any questions about the HVAC systems. Firs time using FIXIT! I would recommend to friends and family. :)
Justin quickly diagnosed and fixed low refrigerant problem, added dye to help track slow leak, and will come back to check on it to try to find location of leak. Most of the cost was the refrigerant itself. Professional and knowledgeable. Came to house within hours of service request.
Fixed my ac. They gave a rough estimate on a new unit. Fast, friendly, most importantly knowledgeable. Would use again. Edit: did use again, they replaced my HVAC system. In and out quick, gave me some tips. Great company.
I have been using FIXED! HVAC for 5 years since we moved into the area. They have been fabulous each time we have called them. They are quick to come out, personable, explain the issue, reasonable cost, and just all around quick and responsive. I highly recommend!!
I called Fixed! HVAC Services based on the reviews. They definitely lived up to the 4.9-star rating. I called to set up an appointment expecting it to be about 2 days. Kevin Hynes showed up the same morning within an hour of the call. He was a total professional that was honest and to the point. He explained every step of his diagnosis of the problem and the purpose for each. To put a pretty bow on it...we went from an uncomfortable 81 degrees to a very comfortable 70 degrees in less than 40 minutes from Kevin's arrival. I will most definitely call Fixed! again if HVAC services are needed in the future!
The AC died yesterday evening. I called Fixed because they installed our Mini-Split a little over a year ago and did a very good job. They set an appointment for today and they showed up on time and fixed the problem quickly. They had the part on the truck. Courteous, clean and professional. That's all I need. The job done right quickly. I'm a home inspector and can be a little picky and have recommended Fixed to my clients with no complaints. I always hesitate to recommend anybody and I won't recommend anybody who hasn't done work in my own home. I'll recommend Fixed in the future also.
We moved into a new home and realized the HVAC needs some work. We used the team to install a new heat pump for our house and help us identify a solution for our family room which didn’t have any heat or AC ducting. We landed with installing a mini split for the room which has been highly effective. I called the office with a question about size and Christina was able to answer it immediately. But why did we pick them? Well, after meeting with several companies with these multi-hour pitches and hard hard sells and new coupons coming out of the woodwork that we could use, John was a refreshing change. He came in, looked at the existing units and talked about options for the family room. He was able to get a quote to us in an hour. The price was significantly less than their competitors for comparable products - this was the case for the mini-split and main unit. As John was getting ready to leave, he noted a potential electrical issue and was quick to note he wasn’t an electrician- he wrote down a few companies he thinks are good for us to consider using to resolve the issue. We called one of them, what John noticed was a major, dangerous problem that could easily have created an electrical fire. So we used them for everything. They ordered the equipment immediately and installed the main unit within the week and the following week the mini split. There were some of the same guys here for both visits and they were efficient and also made sure I know how to use the systems. 10/10 great experience.
Called on the first hot day of the year for broken AC and they showed up in about an hour! And it is fixed!

Highly recommend this HVAC company serving Anne Arundel County. We got 4 proposals for an HVAC replacement (gas furnace and ac). They offered the best value for the price and carried out the project in a very professional and timely manner. Highly recommended!
In February of 2020 my Condo that I own experienced a major water leak. It was determined that the leak occurred in a Common Area of the building and, ultimately caused damage to 4 units. I can only speak as to the work performed by Fixed. Fixed was contracted by our Management Company to repair/replace our HVAC system. This work was performed and the costs were covered by insurance (not mine). Fast forward to 2021 and I am notified by our management company that a leak has been detected in the condo directly below us. After back and forth with the management company and the threat of possible litigation, I contacted a plumber to investigate. He also looked at the affected area directly below my unit and discovered that the condensate drain pipe was not properly aligned over the main drain line and over time...water had dripped causing damage. Further inspection by my contractor revealed that not only the condensate line was not properly aligned...additionally, none of the PVC line was cemented together at joint/elbow connections. Ultimately I had to file an insurance claim to avoid litigation. Fortunately my insurance covered this and that condensate line has been properly repaired. Something so small that turned out to be such a mess and, completely avoidable if there was more attention to detail.
Kevin showed up on time and quickly had my heat working. Great job. Reasonable cost. I will use Fixed again if I have a hvac issue.
Called today, New Years Eve, for an urgent boiler issue. Questions answered promptly. Walked through easy tests over phone. We were offered an onsite visit that turned out not to be necessary. When we called back to inform problem resolved the phone was answered on the first ring knowing out name. Great response! Highly recommend.
Came out very promptly, same day and before the stated time. Worked very quickly to fix the problem and advise on what I can do in the future to help mitigate risk. 100 percent would recommend.

I called FixedAC on 08/30 AM because our cooling system wasn’t working. Chrissy was able to schedule me for the same day. He/she stated that the pricing was $129/hour plus parts if needed. She said it would be $129 minimum even if they fixed the issue in 15 min. I understood that. The two technicians (can’t remember their names) came to our house, went to check out the problem, changed the part, and charged my husband $289 for 10 min work of work. They DID NOT come up to my husband before changing the part to explain what the problem was, how much it would be and if we were okay with it. My husband paid it. But later on told me what happened. I decided to call Chrissy and explained the situation. I asked her why it was $289. I said I understand that $129 of that was for the labor. But the remaining $160 was for the one part (combination capacitor)?? I looked online and those parts cost about $50-$60/part. I asked her why they charge an extra $100 for the part. And how is the part more expensive than the labor cost? He/she stated that “that was the pricing for a combination capacitor”..” we are in this business for the money”, he/she started becoming unprofessional and wanted me to say what a fair price would be. I said not a $100 subcharge for a part that Is about $50-$60. I then asked if there was anything he/she could do and they stated no. The company was great at being responsive and quick to make an appt with, but the professionalism lacked. Their customers aren’t in their best interest. Never going to use this company again.
Our AC went out yesterday! A friend recommended FIXED and we couldn’t be happier! It’s a Saturday and someone was at our front door within the hour! Thank you to FIXED and Mike for providing excellent service! We (hopefully) won’t need their services again, but if we do, they are our first call!
My air conditioning went out on a Tuesday. Done. Finished. 19+ year unit completely wiped out. Fixed! was able to give me an estimate on Thursday on the same week, and install Friday (the next day). Install took four hours, from handshakes to farewells. It's worth noting that this happened in the middle of August, when temperatures are brutal and everyone needs AC support. Fixed! figured out my cooling needs and provided a high-quality hardware product with premium installation service. Remember: HVAC is two parts -- good product and good service. Fixed! can provide both, and without the price-gouging. Check them out. Ask about their service and parts warranties. You will get a best value proposition from them with no regrets. Especially if you need a full HVAC and furnace replacement like I did.
Called the local Professionals @ FIXED HVAC during the extreme hot week of 18 July/Monday with a broken A/C unit, free same day quote, all parts acquired and full HVAC replacement on 21 July/Thursday -- A/C on well before lunch & enjoyed cool home that evening. Excellent service & workmanship = THANKS John, Kevin & Team FIXED !!
