He did an excellent job for a fair price. We had an issue with our mini split not draining properly--it was installed by someone else. Ross answered the phone right away after hours and came to our rescue. He fixed multiple drainage issues and did a better job securing the air handler.
Ross was an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish. We wanted to install a mini split to our shed in our backyard, and Ross came out to walk us through all of the logistics and was very straightforward about everything. I'd highly recommend Ross and Felkins Heating & Air. We recently worked with Ross to replace our old gas furnace and AC condenser with a high efficiency heat pump for our heating & cooling needs. Ross was extremely professional, responsive and knowledgeable throughout the process. We discussed a number of additional features (whole house media filter, ionizer, etc.) and it was clear that Ross knew his stuff. There were a few areas where he even recommended against certain features because they're typically not very effective and just add unnecessary cost. We appreciated his honesty and expertise here. We'll be using Felkins Heating & Air for our HVAC maintenance going forward and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.
Working with Ross has been a huge money saver and probably saved our ceilings! We had an old heater/AC combo unit in our attic. After inspections during escrow, he installed some safety features that had been skipped by the original installer. When excess water tripped one of the safety features, it stopped our ceiling from soaking it all up and collapsing! He then helped us replace the drippy system with a Minisplit and went the extra mile with a few other small related tasks to the HVAC install! Honest and just does the work the right way. You'd do well to hire him.
They are very prompt, great work and very clean couldn't even tell they had been in our house. Our system works better than it ever has in the 35 years we have lived here. We highly recommend them.

We are beyond happy with our complete HVAC replacement by Ross at Felkins Heating and Air. Ross is truly a pro. He took the time to educate us about our HVAC needs and options. He explained what he was doing every step of the way - including showing us photos of our existing system and how he repaired or replaced it. He is a total perfectionist - he does everything by the book and wasn't leaving until he had it all just right! We had 3 other bids and his was by far the most comprehensive.
We contacted Felkins after moving to a new place and realizing our heating wasn’t working. Thankfully Ross came to save the day! He was pleasant, respectful, and really knew what he was talking about. We’re so glad we trusted him and would highly recommend him to all!

I contacted Ross and his team after we had some trouble with our mini-split system. In very short order, they were out assessed the situation and got to work. They cleaned up and repaired the prior install and made things neat and professional. All the while being friendly and professional along the way. Ross Felkins is very thorough and a skilled technician. His work is excellent and he explained everything he was going to do and also put it in a detailed contract. The work was done efficiently with notice of impending arrival and meticulous clean up each day. The project was to tear out the old furnace and AC and install new systems along with an extra air filtering system that covers the whole house. The estimate and total cost was the same and it was well within the range expected for the project.

Ross was recommended by our neighbor that also had their AC fixed and maintained, it was an emergency situation when days are really hot and temperatures are in 110 degrees, we’re so desperate to get our AC fixed as our children are having a hard time doing school works and working from home, he is our superhero who came to the rescue, easy to talk to and came on time to fix our AC problems, he is very knowledgeable, easily found what the issue was about, he is Heaven sent saved us from a very uncomfortable situation, thank you so much Ross and I will tell everyone how dependable and caring you are to people…. We received several bids for demo and dispose of existing duck replace with new. We decided to hire Felkins Heating and Air. Not only Ross (the owner of Felkins) provided quality and professional service for a very reasonable price, he was also responsive and friendly. We would recommend Felkins Heating and Air to anyone who needs this type of work done.
Ross was all around great to work with when purchasing and installing a brand new HVAC system for our home. We didn’t have much prior knowledge about the options or how a system works. Ross took the time to not only walk through our home but also educated us on all the options - gas, electric, heat pump ducted vs ductless, attic vs basement install, and lastly efficiency and power. His pricing was fair and straightforward, especially compared to other companies in the area. Ross showed up on time, communicated well throughout the install, and always cleaned up and was very respectful while working in our home. He’s organized and we felt like we didn’t need to worry about him getting the job done - which he did, on time. Additionally, Ross has followed up with us several times to ensure we’re happy with the new system (we are!) and it passed inspection with flying colors. We went with a RUUD ducted electric heat pump with HEPA air filter built in, attic install. The thing works great. Nice and crisp in the summer and toasty warm as the cooler months have started. Best part is how efficient it is. You would think that going from not having A/C to having a central system would jack up the PGE bill but it didn’t. We’re super happy and recommend Felkins to anyone looking for a new HVAC system!
Called Ross and Responded same day to diagnose problem. Able to get parts later that day and do repairs the next morning. Excellent service. Very pleased with the work. Recommend to everyone.
Our house was unbearably hot most summer days and the original furnace made it sound like we were taking off into space every time it turned on. Then I called Ross and he made these problems disappear. He installed a brand new furnace, AC, all new ducts, and an air filtration system. Now when it's hot out, it doesn't bother me one bit because I know I'm coming home to cool fresh air. I'm sure the heat will be good too! Thanks Ross!
