Tran and Loi arrived early, swapped out the bad parts (service valves), and pulled a vacuum test before recharging the system. I’m ready for the next heat wave! 😅 Update: system stopped blowing cold air about a month after my original post. Considering this was my (3rd?) repair of a ~15 year old system, I had the furnace/blower, AC condenser, and line set all replaced by another vendor. Oh well.
Very straight forward and honest. Best pricing of the three quotes I got. Didn't try to upsell, but was very willing to get me the upgraded 16 SEER unit I wanted instead of the baseline at a reasonable increase over the cheapest unit. Recommended.
I contacted Nguyen about installing AC in our home with a 30 year old furnace. He was thorough in his analysis of our situation (high open ceilings = hot summer days inside) and suggested a new high efficiency furnace and AC system. We also explored a mini-split system but I personally do not like the look of the unit. He went above and beyond to keep our costs down, in light of ever increasing unit costs. He is no-nonsense and straight forward. His price was lower than the other bid we received. The team doing the installation was extremely pleasant, professional, and the work quality was tops. I was comfortable with them in the home. Fortunately we have not had hot days yet to really test out the system, but upon installation it cooled the house down immediately. I also look forward to cost savings from a high efficiency furnace. As a retired architect with 40 years experience, I would not hesitate to recommend Evergreen Air. I heard about him through favorable reviews on Next-door.
Professional, knowledgeable, honorable, on time and absolutely trustworthy. This business has been an absolutely pleasure to deal with and came by to fix a leaky AC unit as well as replacing a compressor for a wine cooler on short notice. Fair prices and absolute transparency and quality for all work. Highly recommended.
We have had a wonderful experience with Evergreen Air HVAC. We have used them in two of our houses. The pricing was fair and clearly communicated. They also clearly communicated what they will be doing, and what the dependencies were for us to take care of. They came when scheduled and did the work as specified. The city inspection and duck leak test passed on first try in both houses. First house we lived for 4 years without an problems with the hvac system. We would definitely recommend Nguyen and his team at Evergreen Air HVAC !!!
The team works efficiency to remove the old and install the new HVAC system. It took about 6 hours to finish the job and make sure to clean up after work. The job is well done. The price is good. The workers are friendly and knowledgeable with their work. They answered many question about their work and tip to keep the system in good shape. Highly recommended.
Highly recommend! Owner and staff were professional, on time, and completed the AC unit install, including running new 220v, in less than a day for our detached home office. They also identified and fixed a problem with our previously purchased AC unit as well as an issue I was having with outdoor GFI outlets. These guys know what they’re doing! I highly recommend them.
We have noticed for years that our house had problems: Main big kitchen+living room (27'x28' - 750 s.f.), too hot in summer, too cold in winter. Adjacent small living room (15'x12'), too hot in summer, too cold in winter. Master bedroom too COLD in summer, too HOT in Winter. Our kids' bedrooms too cold in winter, too hot in summer. Bathrooms too hot/cold. Loud whooshing sound through the return air duct. Evergreen was referred by a contractor friend of mine. Nguyen came over and reviewed the existing system he found: 1. Return duct size WAY too small. So not enough air pushing through the system. 2. No way to get air to the side of the house that has the kitchen + living because the duct was too small and not able to increase size due to a large skylight that was in the way. 3. No dampers to adjust airflow in the existing system anywhere. 4. Overall system sized a bit small for our house. 5. I wanted to fix these issues AND save energy. We discussed options and here is what he ended up doing: 1. Add an additional return vent to drive more air through the system. 2. Adjust airflow to the bedrooms and small living room with dampers. 3. Take DOWN airflow to the large main Kitchen + Living by adjusting with a damper. 4. Add a mini-split for the large room. Today it was a COLD morning and we got to experience the changes for the first time. Everything is so much more comfortable. When the older furnace system came on this morning, we were still comfortable in our master bedroom vs being suddenly boling hot. I went over to the other bedrooms to check in on my kids. Their rooms were no longer freezing cold and really comfortable. The mini split is working so well. It is quiet and efficient. I do not feel cold anymore in the main kitchen+living where I am working with COVID. Additionally Nguyen is very responsive to texts and calls immediately if the texts are getting confusing and he feels he can explain it better.
I’m really impressed with Evergreen Air service, Nguyen crew done an excellent job to put a brand new ductless AC system to my house with their professionalism and very knowledgeable to advise options and plan to install and get done very efficient to completed in a day.

The Evergreen team is amazing. I never write reviews but I wanted to do this for this company. We purchased a new furnace and air conditioning unit. They installed everything in a day. They were all very nice and quite knowledgeable and helping me understand the deficiencies of my old system and how the new system would take care of those problems. They were very clean, respectful and efficient. I would highly recommend them!!

Tran and Team were great! They showed up right on time!!!! They came on a Saturday and finished by noon. We had no heat for 2 weeks so it was great to get a new system so quickly ! I would highly recommend them!!
So glad we were able to come across Evergreen Air. The owner is extremely professional and was able to fix our AC quickly. He walked us through the entire process and ensured we knew what he was replacing. His prices are affordable, we highly recommend him!!
