Beware of Empire Energy! Was contracted by First American Home Warranty and we've had nothing but issues. After the first installation, water was leaking from the furnace because Empire did not install the condensation line correctly. Took days to get a response and for them to come back out and address the issue. Even after the 'repair' we still had water leaks and damage. We ended up hiring a separate contractor to fix the issue. During our most recent tune up, the technician identified several instances of improper installation and safety issues. Issues are identified below: 2 inch flue pipe not glued -- entire pipe lifts out of the furnace unit 2 inch flue pipe does not extend above roof. This is a condensate and safety issue. Evap coil is not sealed. There are gaps above with air escaping. Gas line from furnace is not hard piped as required by inspection. Copper pipe has no insulation AC Copper has no insulation Old liquid line dryer was used instead of installing a new liquid line dryer. We were scammed into paying Empire over $4K for a full system replacement despite being under warranty through First American.
Really appreciate them for coming in for repairs on short notice. Professional, courteous, and efficient.
Empire did a AC replacement at our home in Rancho Mirage. Arrived at 8am job done by 11am. The crew was very professional and did a fantastic job. When they left everything was clean and tidy . 5 stars
We are doing a room addition on our house of about 400 sq. ft. and had Tom come over to upgrade our complete HVAC system. He not only has great prices but does quality work. I would highly recommend him to anyone that needs any type of HVAC work done.
