Recently had to have the air conditioner in my home replaced. These guys not only kept the old unit limping along until it was time for the change out, but they also knocked the work out quickly, and with no issues. They showed up early in the morning on what turned into a 90+ degree day, and had my old unit out, and new unit in and running before the house even got uncomfortably warm. They were punctual, respectful of my home, and very professional. The owner of the company even took the time to contact me the day after the installation to thank me for my business and to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. I would highly recommend Emergency Heating and Air to anyone having AC issues!

This is the MELBOURNE emergency ac but I used this company they fixed the blower fan for 600 dollars lasted a week they came back and charged $140 for a “service call” and walked away. unfortunately they knew I had just got home from being in a coma for two months and I needed the ac.. And told me I needed a new ac I had another ac company come they repaired it come to find out a used fan was very poorly installed By emergency air. In fact the fan was not even attached with the correct bracket.. my ac is working like a charm now what happens when you do a real repair.. in retrospect I should have taken them to court..

Super responsive and great service. My AC unit was tripping the breaker on a hot Saturday and I called in a panic. Within an hour the technician Noah arrived and quickly discovered the issue, had the part in the van and repaired within 20 minutes. A lifesaver!!!

I moved into a new house 3 years ago and had to replace the HVAC system. I went with a different company for the install. When my condenser stopped working in July that company told me it would be 6 days before they could have someone over to look at it. I called Emergency Heating and Air, Inc. and 3 hours later their technicians were at my house and repaired the condenser!

Completely and utterly unprofessional. I have never had such a horrific experience with any company such as what I had with this one. On our first call they explained that since I did not have an account with them that I would have to pay over the phone and I said that would not be a problem. The young lady then went on to say that after hours emergencies are $120 for the service fee and again I said okay because I had a tenant without air conditioning. She said they would call for payment at the time of service because the total would be the service fee plus the cost of repairs. I thought we were all good to go. They got the tenant contact info and he updated me that he had scheduled for Monday. I thought cool that works I guess it will be normal service fee and I went on with my Sunday afternoon. Fast forward to Monday morning. My tenant informed me that the company cancelled his appointment and said they had tried to call me seven times. I had exactly one missed call at 745 AM. When I called the company to find out what happened I was greeted by Melanie who was very rude, nasty, and combative for absolutely no reason. She said they were declining to do business due to my lack of response. She then accused me of yelling at her which I was not whatsoever. I had an even tone and was simply trying to understand what happened and what I had done to merit such treatment. Each time I asked a question she would say “I’m not going to argue with you” I told her I wasnt trying to argue I was trying to clear up whatever the misconception was so that we could get the job scheduled. She continued to be very combative so I just asked to speak to someone else because we were getting absolutely nowhere. She replied “sure you can speak to my assistant who will direct you back to me because I am the owner of the company”. At that point I told her she was just horrible. Amazing service!!! Amazing prices!!! We had a filter left in our new home from previous owners that was the wrong size, we stupidly used it and it got sucked up into our HVAC system and the air quality became poor. Upon calling another company, they stated they wouldn't be able to come out until the next day in the late afternoon, which really didn't work for us, as I am prone to heat stroke and the next day was supposed to be in the high 90s. So, we called this company and I'm so glad we did. We called at almost 10pm and they came out and the job lasted til midnight, but they got everything taken care of and our AC is now running smoothly, they even told us what filter size to get and the best place to get it for the best price since it's an uncommon filter size. He charged exactly what he told us, no hidden fees, he didn't try to tell us something else was wrong. He even told us some tips about the AC that we never knew as we kept having issues with our thermostat. We had such a good experience with this company that we decided to purchase regular AC maintenance from them. Also did I mention he was extremely nice? Yes, best service I've had in a long time. Sketchy outfit, questionable AC repair service. Technician didn’t know what to do, tried to get his computer out to get help but when it started sprinkling in rushed to leave, punctured the coolant line and drained the system. Next day Howard Services came out and took a picture of the screw that had been driven into the line. $700 to recharge system. I called owner of Emergency and he declined to admit faults. Run away from this company!!!

Emergency Heating and Air Conditioning is one of the best companies I've ever worked with as a homeowner. Honest, reliable, and fairly priced parts and services. The fact that they are family owned is just the icing on the cake - I always know who I'll be dealing with. Melanie is great on the phone or by e-mail. She knows enough to (probably) diagnose you remotely, and has always been able to work with my schedule. Billy, who has been to my home on all but one call, is a wizard. He is efficient, knowledgeable, and professional. I like to hang around and watch so I can learn, and he's all too happy to teach. On my last service call, he/his equipment underestimated how much freon one of my units needed, and he charged me for what he estimated, not what he filled - this is not a company out to nickel-and-dime you.
