Very impressed by Ellis Heating and Air. Our AC broke down and they quickly diagnosed the issue, fixed it super fast, at a very reasonable price. Honest and reliable company, will definitely use again in the future.
Adam had been doing a great job maintaining my old HVAC for years. So when I decided to install a new unit we went with Ellis Heating and Air. Adam's price for the job was very competitive. He and his crew were professional, clean and quick. Great experience.
Adam enlarged our return air system and sealed the plenum, replaced some old ducts with new, and installed a new HVAC system. For the first time in 30 years we now have good airflow for both heating and AC! A year later and all is running smoothly. What a relief after never feeling adequately cooled in the hot valley summers since we purchased the home over 30 years ago! Thanks Adam for taking the extra time to figure out a better design.
We were so happy that we reached out to Ellis Heating and Air for work to be done back in January. (Initially called a larger company who just focused on us getting a brand-new system.) Adam was helpful in his assessment and did the repairs required. It improved our heating tremendously! So appreciated his approach and expertise. He and his team are professional, and we were comfortable with them in our home. We just called for an A/C check - once again, great service and we are set for the summer!
There are many companies out there that will take advantage of you especially if you have very little knowledge about HVAC systems. I had consultation meetings with Adam, the owner, and Hector. These two gentleman are straight shooters and will give you an honest assessment of your HVAC system. I got several estimates from other HVAC companies that were definitely price gouging and taking advantage of the Covid issue along with the fact that you are in an urgent need to get your system running again. I did HVAC design and cost estimating for commerical HVAC systems for several years. Make sure you get several estimates and have a friend that has a good understanding of HVAC systems with you if possible. If you don't have the luxury of getting multiple estimates and/or a friend to help you out, then give Adam a call. I was informed by other 3rd party entities that Ellis Heating and Air Conditioning is a company that does great work and a company they trust (word gets around for those that work in this field). Do yourself a favor and give them a call; you will be glad you did!
An unbelievable difference between our old and new ducting system. The coldest of mornings we would write it off that it just wasn't going to warm up downstairs. Our HVAC system was easily rated for our home, but the ducting design was not efficient. Adam and his team within one day reconstructed our ducting and now the heat flows downstairs nearly instantly. The days of bundling up in the morning to head down are over. With the increased flow, it also increased our operating efficiency and its running half the time. Give Adam a call at Ellis if you have any issues regarding your HVAC, you'll get a detailed analysis and a reasonable quote. Very pleased with the results.
So nice to fine competent professional people. My A/C stopped working (after 34 years). I called on Tuesday, Hector came out on Wednesday and showed me all the corrosion and breakdown. We settled on a new unit. He and Ernesto came over Friday morning and went to work. Despite 97 degree weather, they went for six hours and did a beautiful job. I highly recommend Ellis Heating and Air. Nice people Fair price Hard workers
Ellis was truly great. Called, came on time, assessed problem, fixed problem, checked to make sure nothing else was wrong and gone. Adam and Ed very professional.
Adam and team did a pro job on our furnace and AC replacement project. Unplanned, our furnace died on a Thursday afternoon, and Adam and team had us up and running by Saturday afternoon. Fair, honest price and he handled all the details - if you need anything related to heating and AC you won't regret calling Adam. He is fast to respond and executed the job exactly as planned. 5 stars !
I have used Ellis Heating & Air twice now and wouldn't go any where else. Their rates are fair and reasonable and they do not try to upsale services. This last time my heater went out, Adam came out in the rain and got up on my roof to inspect the unit, only to find it was a tripped switch. He explained why those happen so I can prevent any more and only charged $39 for the visit. Great service!
I was really happy to see a professional repair guy not try to sell me maintenance plans and just fix the heater. Adam's honesty was refreshing telling me what to expect in the future and fixing my heater quickly.
Ellis Heating and Air did a great job installing my new system. I got an excellent deal, they were fast and very neat. New ductwork was also installed and there was no sign of debris anywhere inside the house and all of the old equipment and ducts work was quickly taken away and the outside was left clean and tidy. I highly recommend Ellis Heating and Air.
They did an awesome job- Adam was very knowledgeable, timely, and did a great job. We had a new heating and air unit install, he estimated it would take 2 days- and with insulation. Adam and his team do excellent work. I highly recommend them. They do not cut corners, and they go the extra mile to get everything right. I had a number of questions when deciding on which components to have installed and Adam did the investigation to answer my questions and to make sure I got the best system for my house. There were no surprises. There were no extra charges for the "bits and bobs" that typically show up when replacing such an old system. His original estimate covered it all. The work was completed in good time, and they did a great job cleaning up afterwards. In previous years when maintaining my old (32 years!) system, Adam did a good job and never tried to sell me stuff I did not need, but made good recommendations on what I should watch out for considering the age of the system.
We were extremely pleased with the prompt and efficient service we received from Adam of Ellis Heating & Air. When the fan in our upstairs HVAC unit went out, I feared the worst. But Adam showed up when he said he would and he quickly diagnosed the problem, which was, thankfully, minor. While he was there Adam also looked at our downstairs HVAC unit and the two rooftop mounted condenser units. Adam and his crew are now my 'go to' heating and air conditioning service company. I highly recommend them.
Completely satisfied with Ellis heating and air. I found them on yelp to fix my grandmother's a/c. Adam had it fixed the very next day and was just the nicest man. Highly recommended!

Adam scheduled an appointment and was right on time. They quickly confirmed what a prior HVAC company had stated to be the issue- leaking coils. The biggest difference was they were on the phone immediately and tracked down where our coils were purchased, confirmed they were under warranty, and asked them to hold the replacements. They scheduled the repair work and again were right on time. They completed the work, made sure everything was functioning properly, and cleaned up. They are reliable and offer reasonable prices. I have already recommended Ellis Heating and Air to my friends and family and have made sure to save their contact for the next time we need an HVAC company.
