Dre from EcoAir was most professional. His expertise was concise and his clear methods of explaining our furnace tune up was most helpful. He knew what we was doing! We give Dre and EcoAir our highest recommendation. They are superlative. I had to remove three stars due to the repair fizzled and they gave me no guarantee. They just told me to submit to my warranty service and begin another work order, and another $60. This was very inconvenient and wrong they should have returned and did the work correctly. So I refused. Instead I went out of network and paid nearly $2000 out of pocket for a complete rebuild and new compressor.
Out home warranty company contracted this company to fix our condensation pump. The pump has stopped working and we realized that the pump was installed with broken parts. We have not touched the pump, so it was installed with a crack in it - BROKEN! The voicemail box is full and the email returns to sender, so I cannot get this company to fix the problem! Horrible customer service! 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
Ecoair installed a new A/C unit for us. Our home warranty company contracted through them. They installed the unit and everything went fine as far as the installation goes. It's 3 years later now, and the unit is still under warranty, but it isn't working. I've spent the better part of the past week calling, emailing, leaving messages, and hearing nothing back. I just called another company because we need someone who will respond to a phone call. If you can't do something as simple as that, you won't be getting our business.
Hands down the worst HVAC company I've ever worked with. Getting someone on the phone is awful, it often took 10 to 15 calls for someone to pick up. If you leave a voicemail, they will not call you back. EcoAir was dispatched through my home warranty company because my upstairs would not stay warm. The initial technician that came out was pretty good, though I don’t feel I got much value for the 60 dollar service fee. He essentially told me that my ducts needed reworked, and that is where the good experience ended. My home warranty was going to cover $250 of the renewed duct work – they originally told my home warranty company it would be 900 dollars. I would pay $650, the home warranty company would pay $250. Great – I said lets do it. After that I literally couldn’t get ahold of EcoAir for over a week to have them schedule an appointment. Meanwhile my heating bill was over $400 per month because of the issues. Finally, I was transferred to Eric Rogers, the owner of the company. Eric said he had concerns about doing my job because duct replacement was hard to find. He then said he had enough of it to do the job, but I would have to pay a premium price for it since its so hard to find. He asked how furnaces I had in my house (how do you not know that after doing a job here?) He then asked if I had to sleep upstairs when it was cold out, I responded that yes, that is where all the bedrooms are… Eric finally said he would send out a team but it would cost at least $3000 dollars. Much like other reviewers have stated about Eric L. Rogers he seems to love the bait and switch and will only do home warranty work if it is lucrative to him. I reported this to the BBB, filed a claim with my home warranty company expressing the unprofessionalism I deal with at EcoAir and with Eric Rogers, and they are evaluating whether to continue to do business with them. Stay far away from EcoAir and its owner.
AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! EcoAir was sent by my home warranty company to fix my furnace and I was very disappointed with their service. They are horrible at communicating and following through and will ghost you when they don't want to deal with you! The only reason they finally fixed their mistakes is because I got the VP of Operations of my home warranty involved. I would NEVER personally choose them! EcoAir replaced my attic furnace and a month later water started to leak from the ceiling right under where the furnace was installed creating significant water damage to the ceiling drywall. I called EcoAir and they tried to say that it wasn't their fault and that I needed to call a plumber since it was a drainage issue. I called a plumber and was told that not only was the drainage pan under the furnace sloped incorrectly but that there was also an ACTIVE GAS LEAK from the newly installed furnace. They sent 2 different technicians to evaluate the problem and neither one of them detected the gas leak that the plumber easily found!!! This time I went directly to the home warranty company and it was only then that they sent a master technician to fix the problem. When I reached out again about them repairing the water damage caused by their negligence I got no response at all.
After problems with our furnace not coming on Ecoair made sure I had heat before thanksgiving . Service was professional and done in less than 4 hours. after 2 weeks of freezing it is wonderful and so is Ecoair.
Dre was upfront about what was needed and took great care of us. Zac was the one who came and installed our furnace and was very professional throughout the process.
Ecoair was timely, professional and overall we had a good experience with them. They followed up quickly when we seemed to have an issue after they had installed the new blower.
EcoAir came out to do some work on my AC in June. A leak was discovered which requires repair. I have tried calling multiple times and left multiple voicemails to figure out the next steps, only to be ghosted. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of EcoAir, they are not responsive or professional.
We were very pleased with the professional service that Eric provided. He got right to work and fixed the problems at hand, saving us from certain "air conditioning disaster."
Fast prompt service. Scheduled us the next day for a new capacitor in the AC compressor. Showed up with the part and installed in less than 20 minutes!
The technicians were amazing and did a great job, they worked past nine to get my AC installed, much appreciated in 90 plus degree weather. The office however seems a bit unorganized and could maybe work on that.
Installed new A/C in Sept, did a great job. Super people and went out of their way when i had trouble with my A/C due to restricted air flow I needed some advice on. Will be contacting after busy time, for venting and duct work I need installed. Honest and real people.
Dre took the time to get to know us and to answer a few curious questions we had about our HVAC system. Very good manner and professional demeanor.
I called on Wednesday and got an appointment the following day. Cameron was great! He got here in the time window I was given and got right to work. He was professional and got the job done quickly all while I was working. He was very polite and I'd definitely recommend and use these guys again.
"Very professional, thorough, respectful and kind. Carbon monoxide from vents was determined. System shut off and Cameron and Greg returned next day to install new HVAC system. Saved my little family's lives. I cannot thank them enough!
Service, Price, Timeliness, Technician, All around easy to schedule and prompt good price service like their system for texting and tracking service provider arrival. Mainly needed a regular maintenance check. Also thought maybe it was a little slow heating house to selected temperature. Seems I forgot to set my calendar reminder properly for 6 month filter check. The only problem was the filter was ready to be changed and some tips on using vents. Very good at listening to problem description and very thorough and detailed about findings and recommendations.
Todd came out today and helped restore our furnace. Todd also came out during summer and helped restore our AC unit. He is always so friendly and educates us on better practices to maintain our units. Hes quick and efficient. We love having him help us out. Thanks Todd!
Dre was super nice and professional, went above and beyond by being carful to use shoe covers as well as a mask. He was able to quickly able to diagnose and solve our issues with our HVAC! I would highly recommend Dre and Eclair!!
Todd came to our house for a gas leak. He came and took photos of our unit and said he had to go get a part and would be back in two hours. Todd not only didn’t properly diagnose our issue but never came back. This was on Tuesday 11/10. I heard back from ecoair on Wednesday and was told that the part needed to be ordered and that it would be in on Friday 11/13. Friday rolls around and I get a call from eco air informing me that the part never shipped and that the place they ordered the part from is sold out. Luckily eco air was able to get the part locally on Friday. I asked why they didn’t get the part locally on Tuesday and ecoair said because of a part warranty. Either way I found this unbelievable and outrageous. Our gas had to get shut off Monday. 11/9. We haven’t had heat and it has been 30 degrees outside. So Todd shows up Friday 11/13 at 2:13pm and installs the part and leaves. Didn’t turn the furnace back on and verify that the gas leak is fixed. Just up and leaves. My girlfriend who works from home turns the furnace on and goes about her business. I get home at 5:30pm and go in the furnace room and can still smell gas. So thanks ecoair for not only not fixing my issue but taking five days to do so. My family has been frozen because our heater has been inop.
