We used East Cooper Heating and air on the advice of a friend and were not disappointed! We wanted to get in the twice and year maintenance plan and We were able to make a quick appointment. Our Technician, Jason, was prompt and professional. Did a great job and let us know things to looks out for so we wouldn’t be behind on any problems. Also gave us suggestions for improved unit efficiency and air quality in our home. I’m not one to leave reviews but need to because we have been so happy with our service.
The whole team at East Cooper were professional and helpful. Jason was on time, called before he showed up, and helped diagnose our HVAC problem and come up with a solution at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for honest pricing and great work.
East Cooper is a great service. When my unit stopped, I called them. Jason checked it out in just a couple of hours. Jason was very professional and easy to understand. The same day I got the price of replacing my unit. They said it would be 8:00am to 12:. They showed up at 8:00am and in just a few hours it was done. Seth and Tyler was very friendly and never stopped until the job was done. Tori was very professional and friendly on the phone. In this heat they have a very hard job. Thank you all for the kindness you showed to me. Just chilling now and happy
Great customer service, our AC broke and they came out the next day to quote us and even were able to install the day after that which was amazing as it was August in Charleston. JT did a great job on the installation and in only a few hours our home was back to being cool again. I would not hesitate to hire them again.
JT, our technician, was excellent. Very commutative and thorough. Explained why we were having the issues we were having and how to best fix them. Very honest & professional. They are now our goto HVAC service for sure.
Called on Monday and dispatched on Tuesday morning. Technician JT was excellent. Explained everything, offered suggestions to maximize performance told us where to get odd sized filters, what type of filter and other helpful hints. Highly recommend.
Jason was great We had come home from vacation and after a day noticed that the house was not cooling. Jason, the tech was apply to determine the problem and get the needed part quickly. With temperatures going into the upper 90's , it was great to get our cooling system back on track.

My wife and I hadn't had any maintenance done our our HVAC system since we moved into our house in 2017. I called East Cooper and they set up an appt for next day. Jason (JT) was professional, knowledgeable, and even identified a small problem with our system. He gave us a thorough explanation of what he was doing, and why. I will definitely be using them exclusively for my home. Ask for JT!
I highly recommend East Cooper Heating and Air, very professional technician (JT) was very patient,took time to give me an in-service on my thermostat, checked all aspects relating to the issue I was having and all was fully resolved and my little abode is cool and comfy.
My whole experience with East Cooper Heating and Air was wonderful. The customer service rep was efficient and courteous. My tech, Jason T., explained the problem and all of my options to fix it in a way I could understand. I felt comfortable with the whole process and was no longer sweating in my living room in under an hour after he arrived. If you're looking for someone knowledgeable and honest, give them a call!
Contacted East Cooper Heating and Air after a number of companies could not respond for a day or two. From the start, the company was very knowledgeable and professional. I had a knowledgeable courteous technician on sight within two hours. My System was 15 plus years old and not repairable. The following morning, I had two technicians (Joe and Tyler) at my front door with a replacement system to install. Joe and Tyler were very professional and knowledgeable - easily answering all my questions setting me at ease. This company is top notch and from the receptionist on the phone to the technicians on sight friendly, eager to help, and professional. I highly recommend East Cooper Heating and Air to anyone needing air conditioning/heating services.
I rarely leave reviews, but these guys are great and I felt they definitely deserve the time it takes to leave a good one! My mother-in-law was in the hospital, so I went to her house to clean before she came home. We live out of town, so we don’t know everything that goes on here. Realized the AC wasn’t working when the temperature kept rising and I was cleaning in an 87 degree house! I googled “AC repair” for the area and called the first few that popped up. No one could come out that day to fix it. Next on the list was East Cooper Heating and Air. Mary Jane tried saving us money right off the bat (the service call fee) by suggesting a few things to try before they sent a tech out. None of that worked, so I called back and they had Seth come out within a short period of time. Not only that, but he brought us a case of water because I was completely out with no car to go get any (husband had the car at the hospital with his mom)! I was stoked to say the least! We learned that this unit was 20 years old and had been “patched” multiple times and it would cost just about as much to buy the discontinued Freon in bulk and find the discontinued parts as it would to replace it. We were going back home until the next week and they worked around our schedule and scheduled the HVAC replacement for the day we would be in town. Matt and Seth had everything replaced so fast and we had AC that day! My mother-in-law was able to come home from the hospital to a nice clean and cool house thanks to East Cooper Heating and Air. We will be having them do the duct work that is needed in the future for sure! Not only is this a great company, but they are great people in general....Highly recommended!
East Cooper Heating and Air replaced 4 units in our business which unfortunately all went down over a short period of time. They responded to our call promptly and did the work while the store was still operational. They were fast, efficient, easy to communicate with and charged a very fair amount to complete the work. East Cooper also maintains our home units. We can't speak more highly of them. They're a great team.
Nice dispatcher, technician called out. Had to call several times. Finally tech came and was attentive but after numerous calls no one ever got back to us on a price for fixing or installing a new unit.
They arrived on time & prepared for the entire job. They were professional and courteous and conscientious. They delivered what they quoted and did so with the quick turnaround that we asked for. They also cleaned up before they left - I honestly think my carpet is cleaner now than it was before they got here today... Matt obviously knows his stuff, too, and isn't smarmy or sales-y. Bravo! What an efficient company with gracious owners and employees. I called on a cold, rainy, Saturday morning, and owner, Matt Marcino, had someone at my house by noon. I was delighted; the temp was 51 inside my house! I deal with numerous businesses, and if you are looking for a fair, honest, friendly company, here's the one. I seldom write reviews, but this company is deserving. You will not regret calling and using East Cooper Heating and Air. They were outstanding!
