We recently purchased a house in Lincoln RI, (our home) upon closing we decided to have our furnace inspected it was brought to our attention that “plenum” was corroding…..I am an early riser and work in construction so sent a text to Derek @ 5.30/6 a.m he responded within 15 minutes, he came to look at the job that day gave us an estimate and a turnaround time, within 3 days he had come visit, estimate, and have the material made specifically to fit our system. Top Quality service, anything related to AC, or heat he’s the man
Derek is professional, polite, experienced, trustworthy and Knowledgeable with his work. He was clear and explained his estimate with us and when on site he guide me and my husband regarding our water heater. He came highly recommended by a family friend and we are very pleased with his service and would recommend him.

Derek was excellent! Came out to check our systems and then returned to perform a full maintenance. Our AC's hadn't been serviced in some time and he spent many hours meticulously cleaning the condensers and the air handlers. He explained everything along the way. Highly recommend for your AC needs!
Derek is very professional, polite, humble, experienced, trustworthy and Knowledgeable with his work, I have an old AC unit and he knew how to repair it. He guide me and explained me the problem and what he fixed. He Gave valuable suggestions on how to better maintain the AC unit.
Derek responded to my email regarding a request for service within 15 minutes. He came out within an hour, during the evening of one of the coldest days in January. He could have charged me an arm and a leg for a service call but he didn't. His rate was very reasonable and he was able to fix the issue within an hour. He did recommend annual maintenance service which we scheduled for a week or so later and again, nothing but a great experience. In both cases Derek took the time to explain what he did in a way that was not too technical, he was honest and even showed me the parts he replaced. I have found a trusted service provider in DVs and will be using them for all my future HVAC needs.
Highly recommend!! My heat was not working on one of the coldest days of the year, based off of other recommendations I contacted DV’s. I received an immediate response and service was completed within a couple of hours. Pricing for service is very reasonable, and I was provided with a clear understanding of what the problem was, how to avoid the problem in the future and helpful information in regards to maintenance. DV’s is easy to work with and I will continue to use their service in the future. Look no further if you need mechanical services!

Derek returned my call within 15 minutes. He found the part needed to repair my very old wood burning boiler and had it operating perfectly within 24 hours. In other words he was relentless in his search to find the part, provided old school service: knowledgeable, honest, timely. Respectful, too. Call him. He knows his stuff.
I am so happy that Derek was referred to me - very glad to find someone reputable, knowledgeable and someone to not mind to take the time to help and answer questions that I had. I am a single female and Derek went the extra doing a little maintenance on things I had no idea that needed work on. He installed a complete AC system. Had AC Condenser unit tripping out breaker. Dereck was able to get out within 24 hours (and on a Saturday) and was able to get my system up and operational. Would highly recommend and definitely use again.
DV Mechanical were wonderful. Last year our old AC units both broke down during an intense heat wave. DV Mechanical came out super quick and resolved the issues for a very fair price. When we were ready to install two new AC units and new furnace this year, we knew we were going to use DV Mechanical again, since they were so professional and responsive when they repaired our systems last year. Once again, they were knowledgeable, courteous, professional and reliable. The showed up on time, answered all of our questions, and even researched rebates we were eligible for, which ended up saving us over $1200! Their technical skill and customer service is top notch. Derek came out and gave me a very reasonable quote. We had him install a ductless mini split and he did a maintenance on our furance. Derek was on time, professional and cleaned up after the job. Had Derek come in for a second time to install a mini split unit in my sunroom. Last summer he installed our central air and we were very pleased with the quality of his work. I’m in the trades myself so I can definitely tell the difference between good quality work and poor craftsmanship. I highly recommend DV Mechanical for all of your HVAC needs. 👍
We needed our furnace repaired and Derek was highly recommended to us by our local Cumberland realtor. He promptly responded to my call and even offered a same day appointment. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain the issue and the steps he took to troubleshoot/resolve it. We will certainly be using his professional services again in the future and highly recommend his business to anyone else looking for fair and reliable service.
I asked for recommendations for an HVAC Company on a local Facebook page, I received a few very good recommendations. When I tried to contact them there was only One who responded, Derek. He then took several minutes to answer all my questions, and still no response from the others. It was at this time when I made an appointment for the very next day. Derek was on time, proceeded right to work, explaining everything that he was going to do. The long and short of it is,, he will be coming back in the spring to do the central air conditioner. I think that we found our HVAC guy
My propane fireplace was not lighting. He came the same evening and was able to clean it up and get it working. Also made suggestions for inexpensive ways to improve the life of my unit. Would use again.
Fantastic work. Derek got out to us pretty much immediately and went above and beyond to get to the root of our heater issues! So professional and knowledgeable. It can be tough to trust was some say, but Derek was straightforward, transparent, and efficient! Would totally recommend to anyone!
