So after one company (who I will not name) came out on Friday to tell me that my downstairs AC was dead, I just got a quote (this is Monday) for $12k for a new AC unit. In the meantime, I had called Craig based on a recommendation from my neighbor (who Craig also helped earlier this year) to see what he had to say. After I told him over the phone that another company had told me my unit was dead and explained to him what they had done already, he said he wanted to come by this afternoon to look at it first. As soon as we fired it back up and he hooked his gauges up to it he looked at me and said, "They lied to you. You're not dead." Well a couple pounds of freon later at an extremely fair price and a little labor (he also cleaned coils on both of my units), Craig saved me over $11,000. He also explained to me how an AC system works and why it was just a freon issue, which he didn't have to do but I really appreciate understanding that kind of stuff. So don't give too much credit to any of these negative reviews here. Craig is probably one of the most honest guys I've ever met. This world needs more Craigs!
This is the message I sent him after 10 days of them putting freon. I should've read the reviews on here first. You came highly recommended by neighbors. I asked for an a/c check up because we didnt know what was wrong it. You charged $250 for just freon, no check up! Please make this right...! it is 80°F inside our condo. I tried calling, but no answer.
Dusek Air failed to notice super obvious condenser problems (according to another qualified HVAC firm) despite charging almost $800 for a diagnostic/repair visit in March and issuing an all systems normal statement. Less than 6 weeks later and right at the start of summer, we are stuck with a busted condenser, no air conditioning, and thousands of dollars of unexpected expense. Dusek Air of Dallas does zero quality work.

Craig and his staff were responsive, professional, delivered a great service and product and were very cost effective (measurably less expenses than the heavily advertised services).
