Kris fixed my AC very quickly. He does not try to make money selling non-required parts to fix the AC. He knows what exactly required to fix the issue. Very economical and good quality work. He is expert in what he is doing. Definitely recommend him.
After 20 years of chugging along my old A/C units last legs finally gave in. My furnace being the same age wasn't too far behind. From some brief up front research it was clear that it made sense to replace both units at once however, the price range of inital rough estimates meant the furnace may have to wait a year. I didn't want to compromise on quality of product or installation, and so my focus was on identifying the A/C unit and installer, and if need be leaving the furnace purchase/installation until next year. I have to admit I felt a little overwhelmed at first, not just with the number of manufacturers out there but also the number of different models they each offer. There are literally hundreds of units to chose from, and I had an installer to also consider. But I knew what I wanted ; A reliable and efficient unit, at a cost effective price, installed by a reliable professional contractor, at a fair price. I did a lot of research on A/C units and met a lot of installers (there are a lot of good and bad of both out there). Then Kris came by. From the onset it was very apparent to me that Kris is very knowledgeable, professional and informative. What was most impressive, was he genuinely cared more about me selecting the best option I had available, as opposed to whether he got my business. Kris is a great listener, he understood what I wanted and he over delivered. With my current A/C out of commission and thermostat showing 90 degrees; without even having to ask, Kris understood my familys dilemma. Within 24 hours of our meeting, I had a new A/C Unit, furnace and humidifier installed and running. I am thrilled with the selection of the appliances installed, and I could not be happier. My expectations of; "A reliable and efficient unit, at a cost effective price, installed by a reliable professional contractor, at a fair price" have been surpassed. 10's across the board for Price, Product, Installation, Level of Professionalism. Kris is extremely professional, knowledgeable, and a great value. He provided us with great service and was able to install a new furnace and AC unit with a very quick turnaround so we were not without air during this heatwave. I’d highly recommend him for any and all of your HVAC needs.
I would highly recommend Dupage Heating and Air Conditioning for all of your HVAC needs from residential to commercial properties. I currently manage a large portfolio of commercial properties in which I have had one on one communications with the owner Kris direct. He has been extremely responsive, honest, and upfront with what exactly needed to be done and resolved all issues as quickly as possible. There are many HVAC companies out there that do sub par workmanship but charge you high prices without completing the work entirely. In the past I had a preventative maintenance agreement with multiple HVAC companies that supposedly completed the work in which they were paid. I had Kris inspect and review the work that was just completed by this other company for him to find multiple issues in which they created knowing that most likely something else would break so that I would have to call them back out for repairs. I am by no means an expert in HVAC, which is what a lot of these other vendors prey on and I am sure that I am not alone. I do not have to worry about that when dealing with Dupage Heating and Air Conditioning and I guarantee that you will be just as satisfied with their services as I am!
Chris and his team did a great job helping us repair our a/c unit. They were professional and responsive. We actually referred him to our neighbor, whose a/c went out the next day - and he was also very happy with their work. Highly recommended!
