Called because my ice machine was not working. Dunford not only came out the same day but the tech had needed parts with him. Ice machine was up and running before he left. Highly recommend
I was having trouble with my heat coming on. Called the company and had a technician come out the same day. Butch came out and fixed my issues!! Would use this company again anytime I need service! Highly recommend them to do work!
At a very stressful time Dunford HVAC came out same day. My heat had stopped working in the middle of the night. I called and emailed . Mike was there by 9am and repaired it same day!!!!
Had these guys out to work on my furnace which had stopped working. They came out and had my furnace back up and running same day. Very professional. Would definitely use them again!!
I don't often resort to 1-star reviews but this company is so bad that I have to warn anyone else from using them . And I would go with 0-stars if that was an option. This company is a scam! They came to our business and promised to fix the problem, in our case a freezer that wouldn't hold temperature. They ask us to sign an agreement up front, and that is where the problem comes. Because they came out 3 times, tried to overcharge us for a part we didn't need that we found on line for half the price. They also charged us twice for adding refrigerant to the system, without ever finding the leak, (which is what we knew was the problem), so all the new refrigerant just leaked back out. And after 3 unsuccessful tries, they just didn't come back but they hit my card, for over $700 and we had to hire another refrigeration guy who was able to find the leaks and once repaired, the freezer has been working fine. Do not use these guys and definitely, do not sign anything or give them your cc information. They will just rip you off!
BEWARE! TOTAL SCAM!!! They ask for your cc up front before they do anything, and then once they have it, even if they don't repair the problem they will charge your card! DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CC INFO UP FRONT! The guy who came out knew less about refrigeration than I did. What a rip off!!! This is the letter we had to send to the company and have yet to hear back: Just thought I should let you know: The freezer which was "repaired" by your company before I took possession of the property, broke in less than two days. You came out to fix it again and attempted to charge me for fixing something that I was told was in good working order. The unit broke again less than two months after the second repair was done, and I called you again to fix it. The repairman was here for several hours, but most of the time, he was, by his own words, "trying to figure out what was wrong." He said he couldn't find any leaks, and that the refrigerant was just a "little low." He added 6 oz. of refrigerant. When the work was was done, I asked the person who came out about how much the call would cost, he said "not much". I asked, "more or less than $500.00?" and he replied, "Less." He also said the TXV valve needed replacing, maybe, he wasn't sure. The freezer was over 50 degrees by the next morning. Disgusted, I called another company, who came out and found TWO leaks, repaired them, and did a full flush and recharge, for less than you guys charged me to have someone scratch their head for three hours and charge me $99.00 for $10.00 worth of refrigerant (I checked around to several HVAC companies, and R404A goes for $25.00 to $50.00 per POUND, and they charge by actual amount added, without a minimum). He also fully checked the TXV valve, which is in perfect working order, though you guys gave me an estimate of over $1900.00 to replace it. I have the invoices and documents from his repair to back up all this. In total, this transaction cost me over $700!!! So, be warned! Do not gi

Dunford just completed replacing our heating and cooling system. They were highly recommended by our plumber. Knowledgeable - Reliable - Reasonable..is how I would describe this company. Butch explained everything thoroughly and worked to keep our heat up and running until it was switched to the new system. (Important during the winter!) He and his son were very respectful of our home, leaving everything tidy and clean. Also should mention, they interacted very well with our dog! Dunford was an excellent choice.
Just purchased an ice machine from dunford heating. I was walked through the installation and operation process with thorough detail. I really appreciated the amount of time he spent with me making sure I was comfortable with my purchase. Definitely would recommend

I recently called Dunford Heating when one of my units stopped working. They came the same day, checked the equipment, gave me a quote. They had to order the part, but came back first thing the next morning and completed the job. I found them to be responsive, experienced and professional. We will be using them from now on.
Dunford is top notch. Very helpful and professional. I have used them for 17 years. They came on weekends or mornings when we had no heat or an AC issue. Reasonable and trustworthy. Super reliable. I am very grateful to the team at Dunford. If you need prompt, courteous, and intelligent HVAC service you can count on them to do a great job.
Avoid this scamming company at all cost. They make you put down your credit card info before doing anything for a reason. My ice machine warranty service referred them to me, It was supposed to be repaired under warranty at no cost. First, they will stall the service, make your business suffer.When they came to check out the ice machine, they say it is due to harsh water, not covered under warranty. After a month of the initial analytical visit, still haven't performed repair service, says they have busy schedule. The person told us we need to mail them the check first. which the service quoted $700+. after received the check, still did not show up, saying you need to mail another one for $200+ for some other fee. Complete BS so i did not go with the service, had to spend $ and cancel the check. Then they charged me $200 on the credit card that i put down for doing the check up on the ice machine. I got a new contact of a local repair man. Guy came in did some testing, turns out it was just a faulty flow switch, replaced it right away and it is working since then. Only charged us $200. The only reason i contacted this scamming company is because they are certified by Manitowoc and cost covered by warranty. who knew it turns out it is a scamming company that gives fake BS analysis and tell you it is not covered under warranty and charge ridiculous prices, no matter you do the repair or not. I warned you so, take your chances. Can't believe such scamming business exists and is still running.
