I contacted DUCTZ of LI during a family health emergency during which I was concerned about the air quality in my elderly mother's home. I knew I needed to address the system -- neglected for many years -- with expert care. Dean returned my call very quickly and then worked with me to come the next day even though I had my own host of difficult scheduling constraints. His calm attitude, flexibility, and understanding nature were all appreciated during a stressful time. He did a thorough assessment of the entire HVAC system, took photos documenting what work needed to be done, and spent time explaining the rationale for each piece. Given the scale of the project, a very reasonable quote was provided in 48 hrs and the work was scheduled promptly. His team arrived at the house on time and were extremely professional and friendly throughout the entire process. They utilized mats, plastics, vacuums, and a HEPA "containment zone" to keep everything neat and clean. I am happy to report my mother is doing better and we are all already benefitting from the improved air quality in the home. I would highly recommend the team at DUCTZ of LI. You're getting the real deal with this company.
The first thing I noticed this morning was that Dean and his crew showed up exactly at the time they said they would. They were punctual and extremely polite when they came to my house. They take pride in their work, and respect the customers house. They covered my wood floors in drop cloths to make sure nothing was scratched, they put booties on their shoes to prevent dirtying the inside of my home, and they were very careful with all their tools. They took the extra time to make sure things didn't slam on the floor, or smash into walls or moldings. It sounds insignificant, but it's very rare these days to see people put in the little extra effort that's required to make a difference. Dean and the crew did exactly that. I'm super happy with the work completed on my home, I will be using them again in the future, and I will definitely be recommending them!
John Falvey (owner) and his son were awesome. I was told by other AC repairmen that my ductless AC units were old and needed to be replaced. John informed me that after a thorough cleaning by his staff, they would be operating like new. I'm happy to say that's exactly what happened. My two Fujitsu units are operating like new, QUIET and COLD!
Thank you to Ductz of Long Island for a job well done. Yesterday 3 men from Ductz came to clear a dryer vent. I was a little nervous because it was a gas dryer but they knew exactly what to do -- Masks and shoe coverings when n the house - and cleaned up any debris from outside. Each man, John, Shawn & Chris, were well equipped to do the job and very courteous too. I am pleased to recommend them to anyone needing their service.
The DUCTZ team came and quickly, with great good humor, cleaned up a messy, dirty situation in my apartment. Modern machinery, and excellent service, is a wonderful combination. I was delighted with the whole experience

I had the pleasure of working with John at Ductz and he was extremely knowledgeable and professional. I called because i had become sick after changing out the air filters in my new home and wanted to ensure the AC lines were clean and safe. John came over immediately and worked with me to get the units cleaned In extremely short time. The workers came and cleaned it and took pictures along the way and were very helpful and professional. Would highly recommend to anyone and am very happy to have used this company.

Great job from start to finish! Everything was explained in great detail and the guys who showed up were courteous and professional. They cleaned up everything and took pictures of the vents before and after. They were honest and absolutely knew their stuff. What a pleasure to deal with a company like this. I would definitely recommend them.
First let me say that being a "victim" of Hurricane Sandy, we have had our fair share of contractors in and out of our home. I can honestly say that the guys from Ductz were the most professional, knowledgeable and clean workers that we have EVER dealt with. They literally came in with NEW carpet runners and drop cloths and ran them from the front door to the attic entrance. They worked quickly and efficiently. And when they finished the work, they literally cleaned up after themselves including vacuuming my floors. Upon the initial consultation, John went right up into the attic and came back down with video to give me a detailed explanation of what was going on and the remedy. Being that this was a service being covered by my insurance, they took our policy info and adjuster info and they literally took care of everything else. They even came back just to bring me the filters that are so hard for me to find retail. It was totally painless. I so wished they did more than Ducts. We had a waste pipe leak under our floor and our duct work was sitting in it yuck! Once the area was clean Ductz owner John came and examined what damage had been caused to our duct system. John was knowledgeable, courteous, on time and informative. A duct need to be replaced, the system scraped and spayed with a special paint they changed filters cleaned vents a tremendous amount of work and a phenomenal job. Ductz was willing to work with me and my insurance company. Kimberly Ductz office manager met our scheduling needs and handled necessary paper work quickly and efficiently she was a pleasure. If all that wasn't enough he sent a small trustworthy, polite, hardworking, knowledgeable crew to my home and when they were done the job sites were immaculate can't say enough nice things about them. The estimate for the job was 16 pages and laid out very thoroughly each step of the job. The price was more than fair. Over all excellent service, integrity and knowledge. I recommend you save yourself time money and aggravation and hire the ductz team.
