Brian is incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely nice. Always honest and transparent. He only charges for the work that needs to be done. We started using him in 2020 and have since got our entire family getting him to provide regular service and maintenance.
Brian is terrific. I first met Brian through my home warranty company several years ago. He is professional, prompt, dependable and knowledgeable. I trust him with all of my HVAC needs. I no longer use my home warranty company but I still call Brian when I have a problem.
Our AC stopped cooling during the night. We called Brian at 8 am on Saturday, and it was up and running around 10 am. The price was right as well. We have a newborn baby, and it’s going to be 100 degrees all weekend. Truly a life saver. 100% recommend.

I called droptine because my ac wasn't cooling the house. I found these guys on google and saw the great reviews. They we able to get Brian out the next day. He showed up on time and was very transparent with what he was doing. Turns out I only needed a capacitor, which was way better than what I was expecting. In my mind I was about to spend a ton. I appreciate how honest this company was and didn't try to sell me more than what was needed(which I believe has happened with other companies it's in the past.) I would recommend these guys anytime and I will use them from now on.
The wall in my house was vibrating pretty badly. Brian showed up and found the issue in minutes. He left and returned with all parts needed to fix my issue. Price was a fraction of what I was expecting. Life time customer

I want to start by saying, I NEVER write reviews. Not because people don't deserve it, I just never make the time. When we starting having air conditioning issues, the first thing I did was research all the reviews of the companies our HWA was recommending. I was desperate to find reviews specific to home repairs during the pandemic. None of the companies recommended by HWA had above 2 stars, until they recommended Drop Tine. I read reviews (across all platforms, Brian's (owner) reviews are shining, deservedly) and immediately called Drop Tine. Unfortunately, he does not take claims from Home Warranty of America BUT he informed me that HWA has an option to pick your own vendor and be reimbursed. HWA of course didn't tell me about that, but Brian gave me all the information, I called HWA and they confirmed it is, in fact, an option. If that is all you are concerned about, I want to state that after following all of the instructions that Brian made easy peasy, I have already received my reimbursement for the repair from HWA. It really was seamless. I also want to quickly state that the reviews are spot on. Brian and Dana at Drop Tine are incredibly friendly, responsive, professional, and Brian is an expert in the field. The repair was fast and cost effective. Our AC is running perfectly. They have a customer for life. Now I want to take a little time to address the concerns I had when I was searching for a repair company. As many are right now, we are considered "high-risk" for Covid-19. Meaning compromised immunities that could lead to us being greatly affected, so we are very much socially distanced. Hard core. Having someone come in to my house was creating a lot of anxiety, but Brian took the time to talk to me about all of their practices during this time. And he was forthcoming about his own concerns regarding Covid, which somehow made me feel like he was being even more cautious. Brian is the best. He has made myself and my husband lifetime customers. We're new to Texas and the heat. A fuse in our cooler kept blowing and he came so fast to take care of us. He was in and out in minutes and didn't even charge us. So this fuse? Kept blowing. It was a real Superman vs Lex Luther situation. And guess what? He won. But Sky, was he Lex Luther or Superman? Well kids, hire him and find out. We're diehard customers now.
I absolutely recommend Brian, Dana, and DropTine to anyone and everyone. Truly honest companies are a rare find these days, and this group is the real deal.
I got the number of this company from a friend who had a great experience with them. I used it to get a second opinion on some AC repairs expecting to be done by another party. It was the owner I spoke to, he was very knowledgeable and forthright about what I should be expecting and costs. He spoke highly of some of the local HVAC companies, which is nice. Glad I made the call, I'd say he did me a pretty big favor, especially considering he knew he wasn't likely to get my business since I was working with another company already. I'd now recommend them to a friend too if i'm ever asked.
We have used Brian for our AC over the past 3 years and he just helped out my mother in law save a bunch of money. Another company said she need to replace her whole ac system and Brian fixed her up for a fraction of the cost. Great service. Thanks again
Two visits through warranty company. First visit(one year ago) I told the repair man, Lane that the other company who originally came out detected a leak and filled the AC with freon and said we needed to go through th warranty company for repairs. Lane seemed to be the "know it all type" but I just wanted my AC fixed in September which was a very hot month so I didnt report it. He claimed there were no issues with it. FF to now when we spent 2 months away and had our AC unit OFF, my guess is the freon leaked out and we came home to a house that was 96 degrees while it was over 100 outside! Just miserable to even move or get dressed, dont even mention cooking in the oven or with our gas stove either. I called my landlord to call the warranty company again..I spent a total of 2 weeks already with no AC and it's been a very hot couple weeks up to 110°! They got the repair set up for Thursday 8/8/19 between 9 and 12. Lane called at 11:30 saying he was 20 minutes out. He asked for details again so I reminded him about previous year (sept '18) and issues and about the other company that found a leak, he made a comment, "oh that's what they said". As if they were wrong before he even looked at anything which is unprofessional to speak negatively about another business to your customers BTW. Lane spent maybe 30ish minutes to an hour, back and forth from attic to outside unit and then told me there was no leak and it seems to be fine. Then he gave me "tips" on how to get my house cool without freezing the unit which basically meant he made me feel stupid by telling me very common sense pieces of information. My house never cooled below 75 which was during the night and then immediately started rising in temp as soon as the sun hit our house. My house was back up past 80 by 3 PM the day after he said there was nothing wrong with it. I then did what any other person would do, call the repair man to come back out because it wasnt fixed! I simply and nicely told him what happen
I first encountered the owner Brian through my home warranty company. After one of his techs came out I was still having issues and he came by personally to evaluate his employees work. He made a great impression and luckily I hung onto his card. Last night my ac unit started leaking water due to a clogged pipe. As I was in the middle of a complete panic attack I texted Brian, not expecting a response until the morning. He got back to me immediately, at midnight! To top that off he was out first thing this morning and got the problem solved immediately. As a single female and panicked home owner he could have easily charged me an excessive amount to resolve this problem. Instead he gave me an unbelievably fair deal. I cannot recommend Brian and Drop Tine enough.
Since we moved to Round Rock a few years ago we have relied on DropTine and they haven’t disappointed. All of their staff have been honest, forthright, pleasant and most of all knowledgeable. We highly recommend DropTine! We trust all our AC and heating issues with Brian and his staff.
COMPLETE SCAMMER !!!I am with Home Warranty of America and the owner Brian Paul came to my home and told me I needed a new blade for my air conditioning ,immediately asked me for the trade fee, of $75! Didn’t bother to say good morning, how are you, nothing at all! and he was so concerned about there being cracks stating that it was for the best interest to get a new unit! Upon our conversation he emphasized that he usually doesn’t work on air conditioners that are that damage! As we pursue the conversation he asked me twice about a $75 trade fee which I gave him with no issues at all !once the insurance company calls he tells them that I” intentionally damage my AC unit!!!!” mind you I am a 35-year-old woman who weighs about 120 pounds I am not strong enough to break that metal! He lied to me right in front of my face!!! Once I confronted him he told me the insurance company was lying! ODD BEHAVIOR very,very unprofessional , as a man and a professional you would think he would tell me immediately to my face what his thoughts and concerns were! DO NOT trust his judgment, he is not professional whatsoever!!! Once the cash transaction was made I asked him for receipt and he said he does not give receipt that I would have to go through my insurance for that!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND him to anyone I also told Home Warranty of America do not ever send him my way! ( last but not least I got a second opinion I had a real professional come out here and fix the problem immediately, come to find out it was the blade and Brian also disconnected wires on my AC unit!!) SCAMMER—- STEER FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! VERY DISHONEST!!!!!( once Home Warranty of America did the research they no longer use Brian as a contractor(Vendor) He misrepresents Home Warranty America !!! I was very pleased with the outcome!
Good company. My daughter called this past Saturday morning and he had someone come and install a capacitor that day. They are currently at my house repairing something a precious ac company failed to complete.
Friendly, knowledgeable, and prompt. Had a great experience, had a loud fan motor that they were able to diagnose and replace within 2 hours total. My family and I will be sleeping a lot better tonight. Will definitely be using them again in the future, they have "Fostered a recurring customer" :D

Even though I did not have a great first experience, within 10 minutes Brian, the owner, called me to come fix everything and to offer a complimentary winter check up! That was probably the best customer service I have had to correct a frustrating experience. If you have any questions about their service, ask for Brain, and he will make sure you are taken care of. AC works again! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I filed an HWA claim and was assigned to DropTine. When they arrived, the tech claimed the problem was a power line connection that was making my thermostat not work. It worked for about a week before I started having the same problem. The same tech came back out and claimed that it was now due to a stopped up condensation pipe. As this is a "different problem" it would be another $100 service fee. As this is considered "lack of maintenance" HWA won't cover it, so if I want it fixed (which is vacuuming out a pipe) it will be $90.
