Chase helped us out in the best way possible. We have two units and the previous company wanted to fix a leak by replacing one entire system including the furnaces for like 15-20k or so. They also wanted to charge 600 or so for testing the line and charged us 500 for freon. Chase came out, his charges for tests and freon were WAY lower, he was extremely professional and polite and took the time to diagnose and fix just the leak for us a fraction of what the other team changed and he did the repair while we were out of town on vacation. Highly recommend!

I have used Dragonfly several times over the years. Each time they fixed the problem at a reasonable price.
I first called Dragonfly to clean out my 30 year old AC compressor. I thought that Chase, the owner, did a great job, so I hired them shortly after to replace my AC compressor and air handling unit. Five months later, my new AC unit is still running smoothly. I noticed a small leak in the air supply duct and it was an easy process to schedule an appointment for them to come back and repair it. Everyone on the Dragonfly team that I interacted with including Chase, the administrative assistant, and the installers were very professional. Based on quotes that I got from several companies, their prices are mid range but still very reasonable. I would not hesitate to hire or recommend them for future jobs!
Chase and his team are incredibly responsive and did a thorough job! Didn't try to upsell us on things that were not necessary. Just down to Earth and incredibly helpful. We look forward to working with them every 6 months for our maintanence
We had a leak and thought it was AC drip pan, turned out to be water heater. He did not charge us for visit and made a recommendation to help us with water heater! Highly recommend!!!
DragonFly is amazing! He simplified the prices, and talked me through selecting the right Heating and AC for my house. His maintenance is through and affordable. He honors warranty above and beyond. Hopefully I don’t have to buy too many more AC units, but if I do, I will always use DragonFly

I can't say enough about how awesome Seth, the technician is. My landlord is on a yearly maintenance plan, and Seth is normally the one who comes out, even for non-routine service calls. He explains things in terms I can understand, and is fast and efficient. Susan is also great at working with me to set up an appointment time to fit my work schedule. I highly recommend Dragonfly for any HVAC needs!
Professional service, they helped my grandmother in a pinch recently. I appreciate the honesty and good advice from Seth, the technician who came out. I would recommend this company for any HVAC issues. Not sure why their Google listing labels them as a Heating Contractor, they definitely work on A/C's as well.
I cannot say enough good things about this company, I recommend them to everyone! Last summer our downstairs A/C unit went out and the house was heating up quickly. I called Dragonfly Mechanical and they were super responsive. I told them that my elderly mother lived with us and immediately they escalated the ticket. The service man came to the house fully prepared to fix whatever needed fixing. He was in and out in a jiffy and super considerate. The bill was extremely reasonable as well. I had to call them again this summer as the upstairs A/C was giving us a problem. It was a Saturday and I was directed to fill out an online request. Within 5 minutes I had a call back from Ray and within 2 hours he was at my house (he had to drive up from S. Austin). Once again, he was in and out and the bill was very reasonable. I love this company. I will never call anyone else.
I had a good interaction with this company. They came to my home promptly to evaluate an air conditioning issue that I was having. This issue was fixed. Shortly thereafter another issue arose and they resolved that as well. I would highly recommend this company. They do the right thing.
Have used this company 3 times. Twice I feel that they gave me fair service when I called about problems. Responsive to setting up the appointment, I watched over the servicing, double-checked the parts pricing they gave and all was fine. However, I then signed up for their "maintenance" check on a second home. This is where they got me. They said there was no problem - there wasn't; and I was clear that the system was working fine and cooling well when they arrive. They found no leaks. But, still at the end of the call, they charged me for $375 worth of freon "top-up". No reason given and I wasn't asked if I wanted it in advance. They guy mentioned "topping up" but said nothing about cost, so I assumed it was just part of the service call. I was not asked, nor told about this charge until billing. I then asked for a manager to call me. None did. Research shows that AC units should not need freon added unless there is a leak or serious problem. A few months later before the second "regular maintenance" I again asked management to contact me first. No-one did. I'll be reporting to the BBB now. Again, when there were problems, they were professional. However, without problems, they unnecessarily jacked up the bill.
Great company! Have used Dragonfly a few times in the past and they are my goto for all HVAC and related issues. Service end to end is great. Staff is knowledgable. Price is fair. Quick to respond. Have been very impressed with all work done. Highly recommend them.
I always enjoy bragging up a good service guy and found Seth to be a kind, polite technician who did a very good job on our Fall service. Dragonfly Mechanical is a wonderful family owned company who have done great work at my home in a positive, friendly, and professional manor. I highly recommend Dragonfly for anyone's AC and heating needs.
These guys are truly the best I have worked with. They are fair, honest, and very responsive. We have used them for both maintenance and installing a new system in our previous house and now again in another house that had a very old system in it. With the new systems they gave us options and explained each one telling us pros and cons. They never tried to oversell us on things we did not need.

I had them inspect the AC at my house for a home inspection, I would seriously think twice about going with this company because they put $$ before their integrity. My father used to be licensed and we checked the Freon the day before we had gauges on it for over an hour and let the unit cycle on and off and the gas never leaked. The next day dragonfly comes out and says my coil is leaking and that I also need a secondary drain switch. Both were a lie because I have a second drain pipe I do not require the switch. So they not only lied about the Freon, the coil and the switch but then told me they don’t like doing repairs. I’m glad I got a second opinion from another company He assured me my Freon was fine and that I didn’t need the part they tried to sell me. I called their office on Friday to try and get them to explain their report to me and still no word. I wouldn’t recommend this company at all.

I wrote on my FB page about how a driver of dragonfly mechanical was honking & cutting off cars then waving at people I guess thinking this was funny. I also took a picture of the van. I called the number on the van twice. Much to my surprise I get a message on my face book page from James Moore saying he’s the owner and that his employee honked because we sat to long at a light. Well that makes sence. I said he was cutting people off. As you could see in the picture James Moore owner of Dragonfly we were not at a light. You made it a point to say my message was rude. YOU THINK? Your employee could of caused an accident. I would think in the very least that may of concerned you. I did not call you an idiot. If you listen to your message again I said IF YOUR THE IDIOT DRIVING THE VAN. So let me tell you this. Had you taken the time to listen to the message and look at the picture you may of also noticed we were not at a red light and he wasn’t behind me he just cut off another car and myself off to get past everyone. So rather then taking time out of your day to argue with me. Why don’t you spend that effort on sending your employee to drivers education class. I think it was nice of me to call you at the time it was happening rather than have my husband deal with it who was driving at the time!!!!’
