Last week my Ac was broken and I was looking for an AC repair service and i found this company. I highly recommend them for their amazing work and dedication . You can really see just by watching them that they were so knowledgeable with their work . And their priceing is jus reasonble .
!!!WARNING!!! !!!!DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!! ON FEBRUARY 23RD 2023 I ACQUIRED DR. EK'S A/C SERVICES TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE THAT MY A/C UNIT IS HAVING AT MY RENTAL PROPERTY. AT FIRST THE REPAIR MAN INFORMED ME THAT THE REPAIR WOULD COST $175.00 AND THEN LATER INFORMED ME THAT THERE ARE ADDITIONAL REPAIRS THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE SO ADDITIONAL COST WILL BE NEEDED. HE TOLD ME THAT THE TOTAL COST FOR EVERYTHING IS $650.00 AND I AGREED. THIS PERSON INSISTED THAT I ONLY PAY HIM CASH, BUT I WANTED TO PAY BY CARD. HE WAS TELLING ME ALL THIS EXCUSES THAT HE WAS HAVING ISSUES WITH HIS BOSS AND THAT HE CAN ONLY TAKE CASH. I HAVE NEVER WORKED WITH A COMPANY THAT DOES NOT TAKE CARD PAYMENT, BUT WE SETTLED WITH A CHECK PAYMENT. 12 DAYS LATER MY A/C UNIT STOPPED WORKING AGAIN. THEIR LABOR WORK HAS A 30 DAY WARRANTY. I TRIED TO REACH OUT TO THE REPAIR GUY AND THE COMPANY, BUT I WAS NOT ABLE TO SPEAK TO ANYBODY. I LEFT MULTIPLE MESSAGES AND VOICEMAIL, BUT I HAD NO LUCK! THE THIRD PARTY CALL SERVICE CENTER WHERE YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT EVEN BLOCKED MY NUMBER SO I CANNOT CONTACT THEM ANYMORE. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!!
DR Ek's AC provides excellent air conditioning repair and cooling services. Their central air conditioner units are top-notch and their technicians are highly skilled and professional. I highly recommend this company for all your AC needs.
Tried calling this business to get an estimate for some work, but because of the very poor offshore answering service they're using, the call didn't transfer. Call me picky if you want but when I call a local business, I really would prefer a local person answer the call instead of having to be screened by an offshore answering service. Strongly recommend ditching the answering service.
They showed up to work and the worker CONTINOUSLY COMPLAINED about how he has family in hospital and how he should be with them. How his manager left him to do the job alone (NOT OUR PROBLEM - WE ARE PAYING FOR THE SERVICE), the manager showed up and literally got on call with another client telling them he was in "TRAFFIC" while standing in my living room. Then they only finished half the job and went to dump the old unit and SIMPLY LEFT FOR THE DAY! I had a door left on the floor and dirt everywhere. They did not even clean up behind themselves and left trash and wiring at my front door. Were rude to my family and made it sound like they were doing this job as a favor. RIDICULOUS. SO UNPROFESSIONAL.

Dan is always responsive, prompt, honest and able to get our AC up and running again. He’s also been out to my mother’s house and was able to tell us what needed to be fixed.

Many times home owners find ourselves in a difficult situation with breakdowns all around the house. As all of you may know, finding a good company that is affordable and does a great job, are really difficult to find. With Dr. Ek's you have found a gem. Not only are you getting an expert that knows exactly what he needs to do to get everything in great working order, but you are getting a great human being that is an outstanding and is not going to try to take advantage of a tough situation. The AC in my house stopped working on a day that was 100 + in temperatures. My parents live with me and they are both disabled. After we called him, he was here in less than an hour, fixed the problem, was upfront about exactly what was going on, and made sure that the unit was well maintained and cleaned without charging me anything extra for all the extra care and work. I highly recommend DR Ek and know that I am really lucky to have found them. Thank you so much.
Such a nice and honest man. He was very knowledgeable. Dan didn't mind answering my questions to help me better understand the problem with my A.C. He arrived on time and had the problem diagnosed within minutes. Now we have ice cold AC again. So happy with his services and professionalism.
Absolutely great service! You don’t get great personal service like this anymore. We love working with mom and pop shops. He was fast, efficient, so sweet and extremly fair in pricing. Will recommend to everyone we know and we will definitley only call Dr Ek’s for our A/C repair needs.
Very upfront and helpful. After getting the run around from my warranty compay and other HVAC specialists he got the job done. Came un looked at the problem, went to get the oarts and had it fixed in no more then 4 hours. Other guy wanted to charge a 1700 plus wantrd tk hang my unit for another 2000. Dr.Ek looking it over and got it up and running and informed me i didnt need all that other stuff. He saved me just on the part and labor 700. Would strongly recommend him for an HVAC services you need.
DR Ek was a godsend. He checked out the unit, replaced the necessary part and back up and running. Previous repair guy looked at system told me compressor was running loud and that system was old. Restarted and right after he left, system shut off. He wanted to install a new system.
