Double T heating and cooling is the best! Nate was so nice and helpful
Hands down one of the best companies in Lubbock. Matt was a life saver this summer! They set me up with a new AC unit at a very great price. And they did it in a timely manner. Thank you so much y’all are the best in town!

Double T Heating and Cooling is your best bet for HVAC needs in Lubbock. Matt, the owner, is always attentive to your needs and works hard to resolve your problems quickly and at the lowest possible cost to you. I have had him work on my furnaces, replace my AC units, and do other minor repairs to tweak the systems. Every time, the solution has been perfect and my units work better than before. I can't recommend Matt and his crew highly enough -- Thank you Double T Heating and Cooling!!!!!
If I could give 0 stars I would. I’ve been dealing with Double T since August- it’s the about the end of October . I could go on and on about the multiple encounters I’ve had with them since then but I won’t allow them to waste anymore of my time. I will just say, they don’t communicate well with each other. They are unorganized, unprofessional, they submit the wrong reports, IF ANY REPORT is submitted. Now my home warranty account is suspended because of them. I refuse to pay a service fee when the initial problem was never fixed. The owner Matt also said he would take care of that and get it taken care of- never heard back from him or the home warranty people saying this is all corrected. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company like this before. Not recommended.
They came out the first time to our house stayed here for 5 minutes and said we were ok with my house being at 85° and said it was due to how my house was built (claimed the air filter was dirty but I had pulled that out my self to show it wasn't that dirty and at this time claimed my A coil in my hvac looked fine) we sat through 3 weeks of this till they where sent out again this time different people, the first thing they found was that my outside unit had blown a capacitor. They replaced it then came to look at my inside unit which they pulled apart and found that my A coil was "very dirty" so dirty that they couldn't do any further work without having them cleaned first. Having your coils cleaned is very expensive and something we could not afford at that time we were told that the ac would not be as good as it could be due to the coils being dirty which we understood we were also told the ac would be blowing fine at least back to what it was before my capacitor blew so no further action was needed at the time as me and my wife were planning to save to get them cleaned. They told my wife that we should at least feel a differents over time which they did not stay to confirm that. When I got home later that day my wife told me and I could feel that my house was not cooling as it was at almost 95°. Me being mechanically inclined and fed up at this point I went to investigate my self. During my investigation I found that my ac power cut off plug wasn't plugged back in. I plugged it back in and felt immediate cooling inside my house. I went to check my inside unit and found that It was left in pieces with no insulation tape or screws or panels put back how they where found. I made another call to have someone put it back together which I had to wait 3 days for. When they did get here they put the screws back but didn't not properly re-insulate my unit. At this point we payed out of pocket for another hvac company that came out found and documented the mess that was
First visit, came in the house, pointed a gun around and said no problems. Just needed to clean filters. It was 85 in house. Over the next week or two, the system completely quit cooling. Sent a second guy out who said the capacitor was out and stated he changed it. Did not plug the unit back in, didnt screw the panel back in, and left two belts off and stated that the indoor coils needed cleaning before additional repairs could be made. Have attempted to get them to come out and repair what they broke, but they refuse. Extremely unprofessional Buyer beware. Edited to respond to owner: First, the filter was only 2 weeks old and it was not changed. He took it out, said he didn't have one and for it to be replaced within a few days as he left the unit without one. Second, my son plugged the unit back in and replaced the panels. Those pictures are being sent to the warranty company. Third, a new technician was requested and denied by the warranty company because the first guy said it was and insulation and filter problem and the second guy said dirty coils which was conveniently an uncovered charged. They simply wanted clarification since your two techs were not in agreement. Lastly, thanks for admitting that you went out on your own the third time. We specifically told the warranty company your services were not wanted. I have screen shots of your response that I will attach to the complaint with the other photos, as requested by the warranty company.
I was very pleased with Adrian and josh! They are well respected, professional and handled every issue with a positive one! They made sure and analyzed every angle on how to get it done! And They got the job done and made sure it was done right before leaving!! Thank y’all again so much!!
I am really impressed by the professionalism of Double T Heating and Cooling. I called about a leak in our A/C in the attic. Rafe came out and assessed the situation. He found the problem and addressed it promptly. In addition, he noted a problem with our "flute pipes" that had never been connected and could have allowed carbon monoxide to accumulate in our attic. Double T contacted our home warranty insurance and is addressing the issue. If Rafe had not taken the extra time to assess our system, the health of my family could have been affected. I am very impressed with Double T and recommend them to anyone looking for quality and integrity in their A/C work!!!

I was very please with Matt & his team! Matt responded quickly and had my A/C up and running again, very knowledgeable, honest, and great service. I will definitely call on them if ever needed and most definitely would recommend him .
Double T was a life saver for me. My AC broke right as the weather was getting hot. They were impressively responsive in coming out, diagnosing the issue, and getting it fixed. Competitively priced repair as well. I'd definitely come back.

I am utterly shocked and amazed with Double T. Came home from a business trip to a house at 84°, the ac was not blowing cold air. This being a Friday and temperatures over 105° all week I thought there’s no way I could get somebody out to fix the unit today, I would be stuck with no ac all weekend. I called Matt at double T and he dropped what he was doing and came over with in two hours and fixed the issue. I’m beside myself, the prompt and and courteous service was baffling. Thank you Matt for saving my weekend and getting here so fast! I will use them from here on out!
Matt did an awesome job. Showed up timely, had to order a part, but showed up first thing the next morning and got my AC rolling again. Much appreciated as it's supposed to hit 103 today. Thanks!!
