Well I don't like writing reviews like this but here it goes anyways...heater was working great other than I started smelling fumes in my air ducts and decided to call and have it cleaned since it's a oil furnace. The guy came out and was really nice and professional. He came out and asked if I knew there was a issue with my heater before calling them. I said no, I wasn't aware because it was working fine. He then told me I needed to high limit thermostats. Once I got the price of 415 dollars for 2 10-20 dollar parts that take 30 seconds to replace, I kindly refused and asked him to put the heater back to the condition it was in when he arrived. He said without those parts my heater would be spewing carbon monoxide into my house. I placed 2 detectors on my vents and there was not even the slightest hint of a anything. I paid him for the cleaning fee and he was on his way. I turned my heat on and suddenly it wasn't working. I called in a panic and the owner told me that my unit was in safty shutoff mode when technician arrived. Thay is not true as the unit was working great and heating our home with no issues. Once I raised a fuss, I said I would just pay for the parts and the guy came back. I showed him my house was 70 degrees as some sort of proof that my heater was working when he arrived. He went into my laundry room and had it going immediately without replacing anything. I feel like I was being scammed. Heater worked when he arrived. Heater wouldn't work when he left. Once I agreed to the parts he fired it right up...come on... it was only once he "turned it back on" that I told him again I'm not paying 415 dollars for 2 cheap parts that may not need to be replaced. I will replace them myself as a precaution. Anyhow, im writing this because I absolutely felt like I was being taken advantage of.

Have had Dottery’s clean my furnace for quite a few years now and could NOT ask for better service! Their technician is professional, knowledgeable and courteous. Wouldn’t have anyone else.
