Our HVAC stopped working about 10 days ago, and we called two other companies that came out, messed around with the furnace for about two hours and then either wanted to charge $550 to replace a simple transformer or told us we need to spend $7500 on a new furnace. Then we called Dorman, and Chris came out and diagnosed and fixed the problem in under 45 minutes. If you are in the Greensboro area, dont bother calling anyone other than Dorman for HVAC repair. They are very skilled, very honest, and fast.

Our heating stopped working all of a sudden and I found Chris' contact info on a nextdoor review. We called Chris and he came same day to do an assessment, he came back the next day even though it was cold and rainy to start on the repair and finished within an hour. He was very professional and made sure the repair worked prior to collecting payment. We've had bad experience in the past with service and are always a bit hesitant but we are glad this was a different experience. Thank you Chris.
I've been using Dorman's service for the past 5 years and whether a small job or large Chirs is always there to help you with your air or heating needs. After 34 years my heating and air system needed to be replaced. Chris provided me with two estimates for me to review and both would have done the job required for my home. He allows you to do your research and gives his opinion. Once you choose the option you want, he makes all the arrangements and schedules the service to be done when convenient for you. He and his men came to my home and right away placed covers on their shoes so they would not dirty our home. My wife and I were very impressed with this action which continued to the care and respect they took in taking these large units in and out of our attic. No small feat. They did a professional job with the installation and cleaned up after themselves. They were all polite and courteous and explained what was going on as they performed their installation. It was a pleasure to have them in our home to do the job. My wife and I recommend Chris and his crew to anyone thinking of doing and repair and replacement of your units. Great Job.
We had a wonderful experience with Dorman Heating an air. They were very responsive and had a quick quote process and very informative about the unit options. No pressure to go with them. The install was seamless and they workers were considerate and cleaned up after thmselves. Overall great experience, highly recommend.

I've known Chris for several years and finally had the opportunity to use his services. He was very professional and solved the problem - he determined that the circuit board was under warranty and had that replaced at no cost other than labor. He had to return after installation as the unit was still not working properly - he found a cut wire and repaired that. He did not charge extra for the return visit. I will definitely use him going forward on our 3 heat pumps.
We have multiple HVAC units in a large 26 year old home that have required work over the last couple of years. Chris has demonstrated great knowledge and professionalism and has earned our trust. He is definitely our go-to person for HVAC needs and I highly recommend him without hesitation.
Chris Dorman and his team were very professional and trustworthy. Chris took the time to redesign our current system and ductwork and took the time to explain all of our options. As a result we've noticed a huge (off the charts) difference in the comfort of our home, and our energy bills have consistently been between $50-100 less each month. Chris is very knowledgeable, professional and HONEST. I have an older unit that still works fine and prior to finding Chris, every company that came to service it said it needs replacement just to make a sale. Highly recommend!
Chris will be the person I call for now on when I have any issues with my AC. Chris was very friendly as most of them are. We have an older unit that arguably needs to be replaced, although we aren't ready to do that. Chris fixed our issue quickly, his price was extremely fair, and he respected that I just wanted to fix the current unit and didn't try and push a new unit, which has happened to me with 2 or 3 other companies in the area that I've used over the last few years. Chris is awesome!

Dorman did an AMAZING job on my house. I had a Trane variable speed zoning system installed with a furnace plus all new duct work. Chris was very professional and went above and beyond to ensure that every detail was just right. He kept me informed every step of the way and was very reasonable on price. I would 100% recommend using Dorman Heating and Air and Trane for your HVAC needs!
Chris is truly a businessman of his word! He is refreshingly honest and does a tremendous job. He is always on time and communicates promptly if he needs to make a change. We have had multiple rental home experiences with Chris as well as our own home. You will not find a more knowledgeable and friendly HVAC company. As a landlord, I am extremely sad to have experienced poor quality work and dishonesty with other companies in the HVAC business, but Dorman renewed our confidence that we can work with a business where they can make a fair profit and we are able to know we have not been gouged. Highly recommend . My air conditioner broke on the hottest of days and Chris came out quickly and fixed very reasonable price and very professional.
