Julio and his co-worker Manual were awesome. Very responsive, professional and efficient. He installed a new AC system in my attic on one of the hottest days of the year. Also, he installed a new AC and central humidifier system on my 1st and 2nd level. Highly recommend District Aire Heating and Cooling. 5 Stars plus.
Had great pleasure working with Julio and his team. We were looking for a local HVAC repair company licensed in DC and came across District Aire. Calling Julio was literally the best decision we made. He was able to come over the same day to check our A/C unit, quickly found the source of the problem and provided multiple options for repair. He took time to explain everything in great detail to us and we felt absolutely no pressure from him when we chose the direction we wanted to proceed with. We would definitely call Julio and his company for any future HVAC related needs. It is very hard to find honest and reasonably priced contractors these days and I'm glad we found Julio.

I had no luck with several AC technicians - until I discovered Mr. Julio Hernandez and his company, District Aire. He is a pleasure to deal with - very open and very friendly. But most importantly, he is a great professional: competent, skilled, and taking pride in providing good service. He gives you sound advice, names a reasonable price, and then precisely and quickly delivers everything he has promised. Before we found Julio, we lived for three years with a malfunctioning AC system, and we wasted money and time on several "coil-and-pump cheaters" who talked, but did no good. Now, after the service from Julio Hernandez and his District Aire, we can enjoy cool air at home on a hot day. Thank you, Julio - we are your grateful customers for lifetime!

I bought my home 6yrs ago and the system in the house was very old. Was advised to change it multiple times but I know AC and Heat system can be expensive. Finally decided to change it and contacted District Aire, he came out and reviewed my system and gave me best recommendation for our home. Thank you District Aire for new AC/Heat system and water heater. You guys were very professional along with decent prices. Definitely recommend.
I replaced my Water Tank and my AC and Heating system, based on other quotes I received, District Aire saved me over $4000. This company is the real deal, free consultation, no pressure to buy their services. Very honest and gave us few options but made a cost saving recommendation. The job was done right and I’m very happy with all their services!

They gave me a really fair and competitive price with a lot of good information to maintain my new HVAC system moving forward. Julio was just beyond FANTASTIC! I couldn't be happier with my new system all around, which was installed a little over 2 weeks ago now and so far everything is running great! He installed a whole new HVAC unit outside (which is not CHEAP), redid all the coils along with it and changed some duct work on the inside to help the new upgraded system (see attached pictures). He also upgraded my thermostat, which I can control through an app! He made sure everything inside the house was to perfection and even ran additional test to make sure my heat was up to par for the winter coming up. He ALL around will be getting my services from here on out. He is reliable, honest, flexible and best of all WON'T RIP YOU OFF!! He does his work at 110% and won't charge you an arm and a leg to get what you need done. TRUST ME DMV, you won't regret having your work done by him! Let's get him the references he needs!! We need more guys like him in the world that work in this type of field. He knows his $#¡+ with over 20 years experience, you can't beat that .. Julio, thank you again for helping me when my AC unit gave out in 95º. You have a customer for life :)
District Aire was highly recommended by a friend. I called and Julio answered and came to inspect the same day, on a Sunday! He let me know what options we had and made his suggestions. I decided to just replace the entire system. He gave me a quote and we were in business. I did not feel the need to contact the “bigger” companies as his estimate was similar to what I was expecting. He took great care of cleaning up the area after the work was completed. We will continue to use District Air in the future and highly recommend their service. My father, who is a old school retired mechanic, was extremely impressed with the work that was performed. If you can impress the old man, you are a winner in my book!!
