Came to my house was only here about 10 minutes. Told us compressor was bad and started recommending used $2400 or new unit $3200. I had no AC for 48 hours with 5 kids in the home. It all didn’t sit right with me I got a second opinion and they guy came out next morning fixed the problem and my AC was back on and cold right away for under $200. Definitely felt like I was scammed.
Ivan did an amazing job. I called him a little after 8 and he arrived a little after 10:30. We had the problem resolved by 11:30. We now have cool air for the upstairs. The cost was very affordable. I would highly recommend this company. I will definitely keep this company in my contact list for future use. Five stars!!!

Direct Heating and Air has provided service for my HVAC system for several years. From repairing the old unit to installation a few years ago. Ivan has always been professional, explaining to me what steps he is taking. He is honest and a pleasure to deal with.

My AC unit went out this weekend and I called Ivan ar Direct Heating & Air Conditioning to come take a look and give me a 2nd opinion after R&M Service Experts had been here and told me my unit wasn't repaiable and that I needed their NEW $16,000 unit installed. Ivan was here on time, checked everything out AND could have sold me a new unit himself but instead advised me he coud FIX my unit and my total cost was $550! I will be using Ivan and Direct Heating & Air Conditioning for all my HVAC needs going forward!

I highly recommend Ivan and Direct Heating & Air. He's very responsive and works hard to get the job done the right way. At the end of a long day, he repaired my AC unit, and then even stuck around for another 20 minutes to make sure that my home was properly cooling off. Very professional, and takes his job seriously.

Our AC has been out for two weeks thanks to our warranty company who refused to replace our 26 year old unit. Ivan was one of the last companies to provide us a quote. Not only did he offer us a competitive quote but he was able to have the unit ordered and prepared as soon as we made the decision to go with him. We were shocked and greatly relieved that he was able to replace our AC unit in a short time frame. He did an amazing job and took the time to show us the unit. He answered all of our questions and explained the maintenance needed. We are very pleased with the service he has provided us!

I called Direct Heating and Air Conditioning last week, because one of our HVAC units wasn't cooling the house. I searched Google, and Direct Heating and Air Conditioning had the least negative reviews (less than one percent negative). This is the first time I've sought HVAC maintenance in this new house and city, so I wanted to be sure I got someone reputable. As it stands, our power went out for a couple of hours after I initially called Direct Heating and Air Conditioning. When it came back on, the HVAC unit in question started working again. We decided not to cancel the appointment today (2021-06-28), just in case it stopped working again. Ivan came out, and examined the unit. The first thing he did was check our filters, which I had replaced on June 5, 2021. He found nothing wrong outside, our coolant levels looked good, and everything appeared to be working. He did check the part of the unit inside the house, and noticed its drain appeared to be clogged. He was able to clear it by blowing air down the tube, and he poured bleach into it for good measure. He recommended that we do that before every season, to prevent it from happening again. Ivan did not charge me for fixing the clog, so it was just the $65 house call fee. It's $65 per unit, so I elected to not have him check our other unit (which has always been working OK since we moved in). Since I used my debit card, there was a $2 fee for paying that way (Ivan apparently uses Square to process card payments). He would have accepted a personal check had I even bothered to look for my checkbook. Ivan did not try to upsell me on any services, or declare anything else was wrong with our HVAC unit. He did mention that seasonal service (heat or cool) was $89 per unit. I expect to call Ivan back in late September or early October to have him get us ready for winter.
