Top notch service!! Adam and his team recently replaced our aging furnace with a state of the art heat pump system. They were professional from the very start of the engagement and have been super easy to work with. They were always on time during the work-days, and left the place cleaner than it was before they started!! We would recommend them for any heating and cooling jobs that you might have!
I was surprised, and delighted, to find the owner of the company at our doorstep to install a small custom fitting on our electric furnace and air handler. No job is too small to escape the meticulous attention to detail of Adam Derr and Derr Heating and Cooling. Derr is the company other HVAC firms refer their jobs to when a project is "over their head," meaning when it requires the knowledge and expertise of Derr's 35+ year of experience. A job well done by the company most qualified to get it done!
Old heating system catastrophically failed just before new years day; very cold weather was setting in to boot. Contacted Adam at Derr Heating and Cooling. He understood the urgency and did a site inspection promptly. We sat down and he generated several proposals (different brand systems) as we talked about needs. Immediately accepted one of his proposals and set up install for the following Wednesday. The system arrived a day early and he rearranged his schedule to start the installation a day early (the house was getting pretty cold inside). Adam and his team arrived 15 minutes early and worked through the day. Removal and installation (fabricated parts on site too) was professional and very clean. We had heat by late afternoon and the house has been warmer and more comfortable than it has ever been. Follow up visits to ensure the system is working correctly have been on time and with great results. Adam and his crew are professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and thoughtful. A pleasure to have had at our home.
Our furnace went out on a Saturday. My friend recommended Adam. I called and left a brief message, then I emailed him and described my dinosaur furnace. By Sunday morning he was at my house. We had not had our furnace serviced in several years because the last time it was serviced we were told it needed to be replaced. Adam said my furnace was very simple to work on and that we did not need a new furnace. He got to work, identified the thermostat was faulty and replaced it. Immediately our house was warm and toasty. Before the repair we were turning our thermostat up to 76° and were still cold. Now it is set on 70° and we are very comfortable. Adam came back the following week and replaced a worn capacitor and did a full maintenance. Now we are on a yearly maintenance schedule. Bottom line, Adam is a true professional, honest and trustworthy. So glad we found him!
Very professional and knowledgable. The team at Derr heating and cooling work great together. They had answers to all of my questions. I will definitely use them again in the future and strongly recommend them to anyone in need of any of there many services.
