Bought a new hvac unit, with the service contract. They were suppose to come by 4 times and year and the whole system was under warranty for parts and labor for 10 years. The never came by, nothing but excuses when they would answer the phones and then told me they had been sold and the new owners will not honor any warranty’s on past purchases. New owner and service manager more or less told me “it’s not our problem”. So buyer beware
Update: Scam company that tucked tail and ran. Owner scammed distributors and left customers with no warranty. Owner moved to a different state and has set up new shop. Wow! I can not believe how fast this was! I called on a Tuesday for a diagnostic (they did a complementary one where most wanted $75 just to come out!) and they were able to get Bryan to come out THAT SAME DAY! He took the time to explain what was probably going on (we had little to no Freon left and it was an old unit running the R22 which is being discontinued as of Dec 31, 2019) and gave a cost comparison as to fixing it or replacing it. He knew to give information on financing (which was super reasonable BTW) and his price was comparable to others we had quoted. We called at 12:45 today (Thursday) to give the go ahead and let me tell you, we did the financing over the phone (super fast and easy) and they literally were here at 2:00 installing the unit!!!! I was roasting! Bo, Charles, and G were awesome at the install and answered all of our questions. 12/10 would recommend working with Dean's again and again! Did i mention they gave a 10 year parts AND labor warranty? yeah, pretty cool.
I had Dean replace my AC unit after it went out a few years ago. They came out the very next day after my initial call, confirmed that I did need a new AC unit, and installed that day. Everything is still working perfectly to this day. Additionally, around 6 months later, I called them again to have them go ahead and replace the furnace as well as it was nearing the end of its lifespan, too. Again, they were timely on this replacement, and I've had no issues from either unit so far, going on a couple of years now. I would recommend Dean for HVAC services to all in the Knoxville and surrounding area. Thank you, Dean!
Our old ac unit but the dust and we had Dean replace our unit. They were able to do it quickly after we contacted them and they left the site clean when they were finished. It's been several months and we haven't had any issues with the unit or the instalation. I would use them again.

We had to have a whole system replaced and they where amazing. They where friendly and extremely educated. We had such a great experience that we have the installers cell number and have reached out with questions. I felt comfortable with them and recommend them if you ever need anything.
The plumber arrived on time for a weekend - after hours appointment. The plumber was very friendly, knowledgeable, and completed the job quickly and without issue. He also gave me a discount on the after hours fee!
My HVAC went out during very cold temperatures. I called to have it repaired. When they arrived it was discovered my initial could not be repaired. That same day, they installed a new unit and thermostat. They also helped me acquire financing. I highly recommend them.
Called Dean and he was on the spot within 30 minutes just like he said. Professional and knowledgeable. Didn't try to upsale , he simply took care of business quickly and efficiently. Dean turned what could have been a bad start to the new year for my family into an affordable solution to an HVAC issue. Highly recommended from the Carter's.
Dean's Plumbing and Heating came out and totally replaced my 3 ton and 4 ton ac and heating system. 2 days was total turn around time. Also very exceptional at helping and choosing the right system for your application. Very honest and tells you the details of one system vs another. Exceptional.workers and all business when they rear out 1 system and install another. In this day and age I didn't want a system that required circuit board or internet or I phone technology because parts are harder to come by so I went with a higher seer rated but same type system I had before. Different manufacturer. Cooling bills are.lower and have never regretted the decision. Dean's is the way to go.
Great company to work for. They have always taken care of me in a timely manner. I have always felt, that the employees on the phone to the employees that come to your house, that everyone has been very professional, to the point, and extremely interested in taking care of the issues, not just focused on what the work order may say.
Excellent work, will go the distance to see that you are completely satisfied. I am very satisfied with the installation of our heat and air system and will use Deans again.
Our heat stopped working and we had a three month old in the house. We contacted several heating/ cooling companies and no one would come out to check it or fix it, btw it was the holidays. I contacted Dean heating and cooling they had some one out within the hour and it was after hours, I was told their is no fixing the old unit and I should purchase a new one we sat down with one of the managers about thirty minutes later and had the right unit for our home which isn’t small then on Sunday they replaced the old one. I was well pleased with Dean heating and cooling, they also didn’t charge us the after hours fee and the price was reasonable. I recommend Dean to everyone.
Tech came out for less than 30 minutes and switched out a fuse. Then charged 150. Fuses at Home Depot are a tenth that price. Since then my unit has blown 3 sets of fuses in the three days since. Good job really identifying the problem. All they said is they can send a tech out to look at it again.....really and what charge me 500 to swap out a motor. No guarantee on work and ridiculous prices....no thanks.

They never took a break and as soon as they showed up to my property they hit the ground running.They did a great job of clean up and answered all my questions.I would recommend them to anyone without question.I had been dealing with non honest people who was trying to sell me swamp land in Arizona,but I am glad I made the call to Dean.If you want a new HVAC system ask for Bryan and have him and Spencer install it.But like I said so far so good everything is working fine,I would use Dean Plumbing and heating again.
We got back from out of town and found our AC had broken on the hottest day... other companies were three weeks out. This company was extremely responsive, a great value, and so quick to respond! They were so easy to contact and work with. They made sure to communicate well and even offered to bring a stand alone unit to keep us cool until they got out there. 10/10 recommend!!! Thank you so much! You saved our summer! (And just in time for our 4th of July party)
Istalled hvac 1year and half ago in the addict. Never went up until this monday to get something found poor installation. Wires exposed water leaking into unit over wires. Called sent pictures. They sent a guy out. He put some glue on one connection. Said they would call to come back . Never heard back It's been a week. Don't use them.
Once again, Dean Plumbing Heating & Cooling came to our rescue after my daughter decided to put uneaten RICE!!! down our kitchen disposal. Our attempts to clear our clogged kitchen sinks with a plunger only seemed to make things worse. Billy (last name unknown) from Dean Plumbing showed up within the hour on a Friday evening and diagnosed the problem quickly. After clearing the clogged elbow under our sink, he courteously and tactfully instructed my daughter on what should never be put down disposals. We enjoyed having Billy in our home and had great conversation while he worked. Its not often you have people as personable as he was show up and make you feel like you've known him for years. Dean PH&C are my go-to folks for any plumbing or HVAC issues. They deserve six stars instead of five.
Had my 6 month system serviced today by Brian. Did a great job, pointed out a few things to watch. Then helped reprogram my control box settings. Dean has been out before to service my system but this is the first time I felt like I got more than my monies worth. Great job, thanks Brian!
We had to replace both our inside and outside HVAC unit, and was referred to Dean Plumbing. It was quick and easy making an appointment to have someone come out to do an estimate. Bryan was very friendly and helpful. Daniel and Sage were the 2 guys that came out today to work on our unit, and they were both very friendly and professional! I'm also thankful that they have a finance option as well. Highly recommend them!
