Worst service provider ever. Do not use them ! It will take forever for them to schedule an appointment. Then after the visit there is absolutely no follow-up. They will not return your calls and reply to your text messages. Stay away from Dean Family Service. Icing on the cake: the person who came was very rude and non-professional: he left the defective unit on for example while it could damage it even more.

The reviews are true. Horrible a/c company. Keep away from them. I called them after the ac failed. I saw the big spark, the technician damaged the transformer and made me pay for a new one. After the replacement 8hrs later the a/c stop working again. After I called them multiple time they never answered the phone, never return phone calls. They will block your number to avoid going again to fix the issue.

I had a very good experience with Dean's Family Service, it was a home warranty call, Mike came out, while servicing my unit he educated me on the different components of the AC, which was appreciated. About a week later my AC acted up again, I called Mike, he scheduled me the next day and was 30Min early, fixed the issue. Very courteous, responsive and professional!!

My home warranty Old Republic sent this company to fix my A/C. He came out change a motor and left. The air was back blowing hot within 20 min, he didn't respond to my calls for over 12 hrs then said he's not coming back out. Absolutely ridiculous!

I work in HR, not in AC repair--so as you can imagine, I'm a complete idiot when it comes to knowledge regarding AC units--which Mike was quick to talk to me as such right off the bat. Mike is the type of guy who seems like you completely put him out by calling him in the first place... That's the last conversation you'll have with him because he'll completely ghost your calls or texts thereafter which isn't frustrating whatsoever in these Arizona summers. I would of loved to leave him a voicemail, but his voicemail box was full--big shocker there. Go with AIR-IZONA if you have Old Republic Home Warranty--they even carry parts for repair in their service trucks--what a concept lol

Same story as other poor reviews. Went through home warranty (old republic) and was assigned Dean Family Service. Their initial visit went well, but after a few days their fixes no longer worked and our AC was out again. AC motor blown, capacitor out etc, they said... We have since had a tough time getting a hold of them to make an appointment to repair these things, and our ac has been out multiple days now. Tried to call them multiple times during the day on a normal weekday with no answer at all and I believe that the last call I placed they may have actually picked up and hung up the phone. Unfortunately, I am unable to recommend Dean Family Service.

I don't write reviews. But I have to this time. I took time off from work and waited for them to come. I am talking abt fixing my air condition duct. Another Guy from Home republic warranty service has already been and figured out the problem and this was the f/u person for that special task. But he had no clue what's going on. He is like everything is fine. When I explained him what other guy told me ..he was like ' How do you expect me to fix the ac Duct' I asked him to talk to other guy and see what's wrong. He said No, I know everything. Eventually I have to ask him to leave and he was rude at end and slammed the door. No professionalism. All this when my air condition is not working and I am sitting in 117 degree F temp in Scottsdale Arizona.

This is, by far, the worst company I've ever dealt with. The customer service is absolutely terrible. They attempted to fix my AC five different times, and still failed. They claim the "new" motor that they put in my AC unit "must have been dropped or was faulty". Then they put another "new" motor in and that one was magically faulty, too. It is over 100 degrees in Arizona and I was going on day 4 without air. They have zero sense of urgency and couldn't care less if your air is fixed (which is fascinating since it's literally their job). They don't think it's necessary to see if your house is cooling down before they leave. Rarely does anyone answer when you call. The lady at the front desk laughed at me when I called (probably the 10th call since they never do their job correctly), and claimed she was "laughing at something else that was happening" ...and "how would I know what she's laughing at" (most unprofessional human I've ever spoken to). I should have known this company was terrible when an unmarked pick-up truck pulled up and a man without a uniform came to my door. The man attempting (and failing) to fix my AC got upset that I called their office once he leaves, which was because he was never actually fixing anything so I had to constantly call for him to come back. Reading the other reviews makes me realize I'm not the only one who has had a terrible experience with this company. I made sure to file a complaint about their unprofessionalism to my Home Warranty Company so they, hopefully, think twice before using them again. I had a new, very professional, company agree to come in the SAME DAY I called (something Dean Family Services refuses to do). They fixed in one day what Dean Family Services couldn't do in four days. Stay FAR away from this terrible company.

So unprofessional. Our realtor recommended them to make adjustments satisfying the home inspection as part of the selling process. They made an 8 AM appointment with us. By noon and many unanswered phone calls we gave up. At 1:15 PM they sent an email to the home email address, not office, saying "oops, we didn't look at your address until now and we don't service the east Valley." (We are near Chandler Fashion Center.) If they handle their business like this you can imagine the quality of work they do. Find someone else!

After calling the warranty company Old Republic warranty they sent out Dean's family service to check out a problem with my AC unit leaking water. The tech was very nice when up in my attic blew out the condensation line. While he was up there my alarm system went off zone one fault. I asked the technician if you took done something while he was up there he said no I showed him the alarm panel he claimed he must have moved around the motion sensor while he was up there. Turns out he pulled out the wiring for my fire alarm sensor it cost $85 to fix. After calling the girl at the front desk several times she said she would have the owner call he never did. The tech call me and said the house was not up to code and if the wires were pulled out it was not his fault, it worked prior to him going up there. Two weeks later my AC started leaking same place I needed a whole new unit. I used a different company to replace it just didn't trust these guys after reading Google reviews. They lost my business a $7000 job! And all my referrals.
