Extremely knowledgeable and thorough work. I spoke to Dorothy several times on the phone and she is an encyclopedia of HVAC information, and will get you the right equipment for your house. Aside from a new A/C and furnace, Manny and Manny Jr. also installed a solar attic fan to cool off my attic. While the first one wasn't working for some reason, Manny came back to replace it with a new one. I'd recommend using them for your HVAC needs.
Impressive service. Called at 8pm, still answering phones! Explained the problems Im experiencing with my AC unit. Gave info and the size of my home and in less than 10 minutes advisor was able to provide a price range over the phone. No upselling. No need to come out a draft a quote. No wasted time for anyone. Simple and pleasant. Thank you for being so transparent and upfront.
My boyfriend and I recently bought our first house for what we thought was a great price, but come to find out it needs a little more work then we anticipated… so these past few months we’ve been trying to knock out as many items as we can all by ourselves, (aka watching YouTube videos) but once it started to get cold we realized we would also need to replace our whole furnace, and it only took us a few minutes of googling to realize replacing our furnace was definitely not something my boyfriend and I (aka two people with zero Hvac experience) could just “diy” over a weekend… we would need a professional. So after googling local heating repair places and comparing the business’s rating versus their price, (like we wanted a place with awesome reviews, but that still wasn’t too expensive) we decided to go with Davey heating and air conditioning, and I’m so glad we did! Not only were they super affordable, (which considering the big purchase we just made, it was really appreciated!) they were also able to get out to us to install the new furnace within just a couple days of us calling, and they did solid work! I’m the type of person that gets easily confused whenever a repair man is trying to explain something to me… but the guy they ended up sending over, Manny, was awesome! He was able to break everything down for me and explain it all in a way that even I could understand! Plus he didn’t try to upsell me on anything, which is always appreciated! So overall I was very pleased with the handiwork and customer service. Now that’s it’s just starting to warm up again, we recently found out that we’ll have to get the AC replaced too, but at least I know exactly who to call this time to help me replace it!
I was recommended this place from a friend after my furnace completely gave out in the middle of the winter storm. They were AMAZING! Not only were they super nice, professional and extremely considerate of my family and home but they made sure to fix the problem correctly so it wouldn’t happen again. Keep me in the loop with everything that was being done and showed me what to look for incase something was to occur. I highly recommend to anyone looking for help or assistance with their furnace.
We woke up this morning to find that our heater was blowing cold air. With a two month old at home, it was important that we got our system up and running quickly. We called Davey heating and Manny was over within an hour. He was polite, professional, immediately got our system running again, and adjusted some settings to prevent the problem from recurring. I couldn't recommend this company more highly, and will call them the next time I have an HVAC issue.
Every year when we start up our boiler for our radiant heating system, inevitably, it is not working properly. Each year we call someone who never really provides a true fix or understanding of why this keeps happening....that is until now. Two days before snow and temps below freezing, we realized our boiler was not functioning properly. I called and explained the situation to Dorothy including that I have a two-year-old son. This business bent over backwards. Dorothy called Manny who showed up at our house within half hour. Manny was AMAZING! Not only did he fix our system so we have full heat, he explained what was happening with our system and provided insight on things we could do to help it perform better to avoid this struggle every single year. Dorothy followed up after Manny left to check on us and then again the day after to ensure the boiler was still functioning properly. I know it sounds cliché, but if I could give these guys 10 stars I would. We were in a bad position and they went out of their way to help all with great customer service. We trust Manny, Dorothy and this business. We have had a lot of companies over the years trying to help and we have never called one twice. We will be using these pros again for recurring maintenance and any other heating issues that arise. Use them - you will not be disappointed!
Showed up on time with the correct relief valve. Daily harrassment from the billing department was unexpected. We are an industrial complex they should feel lucky to be payed in 2 weeks instead of our standard Net-30 accounting cycle.
Dorothy troubleshooted AC issue over the phone and couldn’t be more helpful. If we do decide to purchase a new system we will undoubtedly use Davey based on my experience with her and the outstanding Yelp reviews I see. Thanks Dorothy!
