Five Stars! Davenport Heating and Cooling just put in our new Trane AC for our condo. They did a great job, came on time, answered all our questions plus gave us a great price!! We highly recommend them!
I highly recommend Davenport Heating and Cooling. Dennis was quick to respond and prompt. The technician, Chris, was so sweet and such a hard worker. I'm extremely pleased with my new HVAC, the very reasonable price I paid, and that the entire process went just great. These guys were knowledgeable, kind, and respectful of my time. I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
I live in an older house. Part of the unit is in the attic. The technician wouldn't go into the attic. He first stated he was too large and then said his ladders were too tall so he wouldn't be able to access. The filter did need changed, which he stood and watched me climb on a chair to change it myself. He did clean the coils. Air was only blowing from one vent and he said it was all fixed. When I questioned him about it not blowing from the others he said it was because the attic it so hot that it would take a while for the air to come out of all the vents. Before he left he insulted the house making a rude comment about how small it was. It may be small, but I'm a single mom. It's mine and it's paid for.
Dennis did my air conditioning a few years ago (he was excellent then, provided great assistance and feedback on my pool pump while he was there). It recently was acting up and it was still under warranty, so I gave him a call. It was a Sunday morning, so I wasn't optimistic about a quick fix. He called me a few hours later that day to say it was fixed. He had just come, fixed it, without any fuss or complication. ON A SUNDAY without previous notice. There was an immediate improvement, my house was back to normal in an hour. Professional, efficient, and helpful. Highly recommend.
The guy showed up to my house and fixed my pool heater for less than the other companies made it simple and now pool is heating wonderfully
We use Davenport Heating and Cooling for several of our rental homes we manage! They are always fast, honest and we are very happy to have them on hand and we have never had a problem with charges being to high or any follow up needed from them.
One of their drivers ran my wife off the road on 429 she had to escape onto the grass to avoid being hit. Very careless driver in their company vehicle.This infuriates me. Hope they work on safety soon before someone gets hurt. Boycott until they learn how to drive safely and share the road.
The sibling named company was quoting me double and trying to sell a maintenance program disguised as a discount on service call. These guys did the repair for half the price. Others wanted $1200 to solder a leak and re charge.
I live in New York and own a house in Davenport...I'm so glad that I can call Dennis and he always comes through for me. Thank you Dennis for your services...its great to be able to depend on a honest person.
I would never use this company. They treat you like you are stupid. As if you don’t know the problem with your a/c. This was paid for by another company I am glad I didn’t have to pay for a visit to my house. Any company that uses these people is just as bad.
This a very reputable company. My A/C broke down I called them up and three hours later my A/C was up and cooling. The owner Mr. Dennis is very professional knowledgeable I Would recommend this company to anyone.
My AC went down on Monday. I called Tuesday at 730 and left a message. They called back at 745, and the technician showed up before 830. He was gone by 9 with the AC up and running. No hassle, no stress, and no problems. He replaced the capacitor, and he did not try to sell me a bunch of extra stuff. He also gave me some tips on general maintenance. Also a friendly technician. Highly recommend!

Every once in a while you bump into a five star service; I’m glad it happened to me. One of the niceset, most personable pros I’ve ever met just came and took care of business. Here within minutes, fixed just as quick, and took the time to ensure I was aware of basic maintenance procedures to keep it that way. Couldn’t be more impressed. \m/
These Guys are great they don't try to overcharge you and they are very honest and set you up with exactly what you need and don't try to sell you on things you don't need. they also do all the clean up and removal after. thanks again guys !
Horrible experience. Came to inspect the AC and stated it was the compressor. We paid $155 to replace it. He replaced it and left. The AC never started working again. After several calls and messages he agreed to come back but never did. He then stopped responding to messages completely. We had to hire another company to come out who advised the compressor never needed to be replaced. We just needed freon... So this company basically stole $155 from a family with five children.
I called dennis and he was out here the day and time I asked for. He fixed my pool heater issue immediately. WONDERFUL personality and informative and takes the time to explain things for you ! He stands by his work and the prices are great !! I would refer him over and over !! Thank you for your time and patience Dennis !
A great job for and price. They did a new A/C unit and I was so happy with there prompt service and timely call backs that I had them come do additional work. Very polite and they did not leave any clean up for me, which I appreciated.
