Extremely professional during the installation, best price hands down in comparison to 4 other HVAC companies we called! These guys were very informative the upon the whole installation. A+++++ rating, absolutely would recommend!
I had D & M replace my old ac and furnace. They showed up on time, replaced my old system in a matter of hours. They were also the lowest price after getting a couple of bids from some other well known companies. They also back their products. I had an issue with my compressor, I called them, they came out and checked my compressor, put a new one in, all under warranty. I have been very happy with their service. I definitely recommend them for any AC/heat issues you might have.

Darrell and his family have maintained my old heating and cooling systems and when they needed to be replaced, they installed quality products. I was out of town in 2019 when my AC broke down completely. He worked with me by phone and replaced my AC unit while my son was watching our dogs at home while we were away. Thursday night my AC stopped cooling the house. I called and left a message @ 10:30 pm. By 12:30 or 1 pm Friday, he had arrived and replaced the giant capacitor that caused the issue. Everyone knows how hot it has been in Louisville, Kentucky! The AC was still under warranty so he replaced it free of charge! I would recommend this family owned company to anyone in need of their services!!
They installed a Goodman ac which blew a compressor within a year. They replaced the unit in September under warranty and it wasn’t working right prior to him leaving. He stated he would have to send a manager and no one came. The ac makes the most horrible noise in the bedroom. D & M has not stood by the product they installed. They told us to contact Goodman and when we did we were told that D& M needs to get a regional manager in to look at unit. D&M no longer installs Goodman and has basically washed their hands of the whole thing. The ac unit does cool but you can’t stand to be in the bedroom because of the noise. DO NOT RECOMMEND. THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR PRODUCT/WORK.
Very good experience with Darrel and the D&M group. Very responsive and helpful. I have been using D&M since 2012 and will continue.
When our a/c system system went down last night, our long-time electrical contractor, Tim Bullock, stopped by to troubleshoot this morning and strongly recommended we contact Darrel due to his outstanding experience with Tim and his team. We did. Darrel and Bryan stopped by right after my wife and I got home from work late afternoon, rapidly troubleshooting our system and restoring service. They gave us excellent maintenance advice for our aging system and advised us on what to look for as to when and how to consider a replacement system. They were a pleasure to work with - Very much appreciated!
Quick install on a new furnace and AC unit. Would recommend these guys. Great prices! Less than half of other people in the area. These guys get the job done no messing around.
Without doing a proper diagnosis they told me that I should replace the system. Called a different Hvac and they were able to find the issue and fixed it.
Never called me back got some one else

Posting for my grandma-Virginia Jones D&M Service Company Inc installed my furnace & air. They did a great job! Two young men "Ron & JC" , they stuck to the job and worked together as a pair should. I've never had anyone to be calm and peaceful, they were a pleasure to be around, all companies should have employees such as these two. Let me start off by saying Darryl & his son are the utmost professional and honest Individuals I have ever met in the heating/cooling business. They are fair when it comes to pricing and labor and are very knowledgeable. Besides being professional and honest Darryl & son both know the ins and outs of heating/cooling repair and installation. Darryl put in our AC unit a few years ago. Last night my family arrived home from being away on vacation. We walked in to a very hot house. I texted Darryl and he replied immediately and was over to my home within minutes and he fixed my AC unit. Might I add this is a holiday weekend (July 4th) and he still replied that he would be right over and it was 8:30 pm. I can’t say enough good things about D&M Heating & Cooling. I feel I’ve won the jackpot when I was referred to Darryl by a neighbor. I don’t worry if I’m getting ripped off or charging me for something that doesn’t need fixing. D&M is very trustworthy and have been around a long time. He services probably above 50% of the homes in my subdivision that should tell you something. Thank you Darryl at D&M Heating & Cooling for the outstanding, prompt service. Your company is one of a kind with outstanding, knowledgeable and kind individuals. Great unit and installation, however I'm not the home owner, I'm the renter. And a few days ago I received a call regarding the bill. Derryl Stated that it hadn't been paid and threatened to come into my property and remove the unit. Now, understand this, this is not technically my property however I have a bit of a problem with being threatened with the well-being of my children so let me clear the air since I'm not at all responsible for your payment nor chasing it down, if you step foot on this property to remove anything within the boundaries of this plot, I will have you arrested. And I'll have a baseball bat in my hands as well. Don't misunderstand me,I understand you wanna be paid, but you WILL NOT involve my family in your pursuit to get money. That includes taking away my appliances. I have nothing to do with your bills or payment methods. If you feel like you still have the right to come get it, you'd better have an officer with a warrant. Have a good day. Next time use respect when you call my wife. Thank you
I've tried several contractors for HVAC for my personal and rental properties. No one has been as reliable, fair and trustworthy as D and M. They are by far the best HVAC guys I've had the pleasure to work with. I hope to use them for many years.
In October 2013 we used D & M Services to replace our old air conditioning unit & furnace. We were so pleased to find a local, family owned company that took pride not only in their workmanship, but also the product they sold. They were courteous, dependable & professional. Since then we have had to call them on minor issues and they have always been prompt & dependable in servicing our units. Today (7-24-20) I called them due to our thermostat going out. They were here within the hour. Always courteous & professional, they were able to remedy the problem by cleaning out the clogged line from the air conditioner to the sump pump, allowing the thermostat to start working & the air flowing. Their service is always quick, reliable, & affordable. They really are a company that cares. Thankyou Daryl & Bryan for your great service!
As a new customer, I received a very prompt response. Darrel even called me after hours with a price so I knew the other bids (for the same equipment) from other companies were gouging prices. The install team was friendly, tidy, and thorough, and explained everything to me clearly, even about how to maintain my new furnace and the drain line. I am so glad to have a hard-working, fair, honest, clean, polite service provider in D&M!
I was very pleased with their professionalism and promtness. He knew exactly what was wrong with our unit and had it up and running within about 10 minutes for a very reasonable price. We will definitely use them for all our future heating and air needs.
We own a 20 year old house that was built with a single 5 ton hvac unit conditioning 3000 sqft over 2 floors. We could never get the 2nd fl comfortable, typically varying 8 degrees from the 1st. We tried adding insulation and zoning before determining a 2nd hvac was the next step. After meeting with several top advertising HVAC companies, I had a friend refer D & M Services. I called and Darrel showed on time. His suggestion were right inline with the other companies with one exception to use better quality duct. Darrel suggest rigid square insulated duct and flex the last 20ish ft. The price was great and the crew did an excellent job on the install. Really happy I went with D&M!
