We had our old HVAC replaced. It was no easy job, but they went above and beyond to make sure it was done right. I work in construction and it is very hard to find a true, honest, hard working professional. So, I can stop shopping around, if anyone says they need HVAC work done, “I got a guy” for that now.

Kenneth arrived within the promised time window and was professional and courteous. He quickly diagnosed my issue as a failed capacitor. Once replaced, he topped off my refrigerant until my unit was blowing 20 degrees colder than the intake. This company is honest and dependable. We had amazing customer service from Kenneth. He was friendly, prompt and incredibly knowledgeable. He took the time to talk with me on the phone to fully address my concerns and provided me with HVAC education. Unlike the other companies that I had initially called, who wouldn’t talk through the situation without sending out a technician and charging me a service fee. Kenneth came out the same day, both times that I called. He has great communication skills and presented us with several solutions to the problem, at various price points ... instead of jumping straight to the most expensive repair option. I was most impressed with his commitment to customer service, he took the time to fully explain the implications of each repair option. Highly recommend!!

Look no further, Just do it!!! It’s 10:57PM and Kenneth/tech just left after repairing my parents AC unit this evening. I started contacting HVAC service repair companies about 8:45pm this evening. Kenneth with Customer’s Preference messaged back within minutes with a great quote, but their next available appt. wasn’t until 9am. I advised I would message back if I couldn’t find anyone to come out immediately, as my parents are older and both recently suffered from COVID-19. He messaged back that he would come out ASAP. Professionally, masked and equipped he was here within an hour....true 24/7 service!! He is definitely an expert on all things HVAC, and I recommend Customer’s Preference 1000%

I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing maintenance on their HVAC unit. Kenneth was very accommodating and was the only person willing to come fix my AC during the storm today. I appreciated that he took the time to explain what was broken and showed me the broken part. He then walked me through some suggestions to better help maintain my unit but in no way made me feel bad for not being able to afford to do everything all at once. It was so nice to work with Kenneth - thank you!

He is leaps and bounds more professional, timely, and responsive than the other company we recently used and fired. Of course, my A/C goes out at 3pm on a Friday afternoon in July. I was sure I would spend the weekend sweating it out and being miserable. However, when I called I was surprised and elated that I got their on call person Kenneth and he said he would be at my house by 6pm!!! Hallelujah!!! Better than that was how Kenneth explained what needed to be repaired/replaced in terms that I could understand. He was very professional, friendly and accommodating. I've many service people out to my house over the years and Kenneth outshines them all! My AC is working great and the price was very reasonable. Well worth it not having to spend the weekend in a hot house! Kudos to Customer's Preference for having Kenneth as an employee!

Best experience I've ever had with any service provider of any kind. Our AC went out in the middle of a Charleston June on a Saturday. It was swelteringly hot, and we had a one year old in the house. We had a technician (Kenneth, who was almost impossibly pleasant and friendly) on site within an hour of calling the company, and he took great pains in making sure he recommended the right course of action. Once he diagnosed the problem he realized he did not have a replacement part on hand, so he called numerous carriers at 6:00 PM on a Saturday until he found someone who had what we needed. He then drove 15 miles through the city to get the part, verified it was good to use, and drove back, somehow making it by 7:30 (which he said he would). The price we paid was competitive and more than fair. What followed was a very involved process that went far faster than it had any right to, and we had cool air going through the house by 9:15. After that, Kenneth had two more calls to make on a Saturday, in the blistering Charleston heat, at absolutely no price markup to the customer. He spoke about it as if it was the most normal thing in the world. I literally cannot think of anything more we could have asked of Kenneth or the company, and I cannot recommend them enough. We (especially our one year old) are exceedingly grateful to them for their hard work, professionalism, and superlative service. Call them; you won't be sorry.

I called Kenneth at Customer's Preference because I had a very high repair estimate next to replacement cost for a new heating and air conditioning unit. I wanted another opinion and additional quote for replacement. Kenneth arrived promptly with a big smile and all his meters and tools in hand. He checked out the heating unit which was working perfectly. Then he checked the air conditioning, explaining every step he took along the way. I was embarrassed when he asked where my filter was and when it was changed last. He showed me a drain pipe that needed to be changed and re-routed, a simple repair. He checked inside to see that vents were working properly. "This system is running like a brand new unit!" He told me. My service call and simple repair was less than $100! He saved me $3500 in repairs or $7500 for replacement! BLESS YOU, KENNETH!

Customer's Preference is one of the most professional companies I have ever dealt with. After receiving a friendly smile and handshake, I was immediately given a copy of their License Agreement and Certificate of Insurance. My furnace needed to be replaced. Kenneth came out the same day I called, to give me a free quote. I spoke with four other HVAC companies. Two other companies I received estimates from, told me that I would need to put the furnace in the attic because they no longer make models small enough to fit in the space where the current unit is. This would have increased the price significantly. After Kenneth took the measurements, he reassured me that the new unit could fit where the old one was, and I did not need to have it in the attic, unless it was my preference. We discussed the additional parts I would need since my current unit was over 40 years old. We discussed the warranty on the parts and labor, in addition to maintaining the unit. He gave me a written quote before he left and followed up via email with a formal estimate that evening. My furnace and heat pump was installed the next day after accepting their proposal. The technicians who worked with Kenneth were also very professional. The area where they worked was left spotless. They even swept the entire garage. Kenneth took the time to come back the next day to put two coats of paint on the door where the furnace was, giving it that final professional look. I was given a refund on a part Kenneth thought he would need, but was able to use from the old unit. I am so happy I contacted Customer's Preference. Not only are they honest, they are professional and very reasonable too.
