Donnie and his son are in incredibly knowledgeable and honest. I never write reviews but I have to write one for them. They have come to our house twice for different issues (one with the furnace and one for the AC). Both issues they fixed without a problem and told us they were quick fixes and didn't charge us at all. We couldn't believe it. We are so thankful to have someone in the area we can trust to do good work and help us in the future with any HVAC needs!
I just got 4 new heat pumps from Cross and I am so happy with them! the work was awesome and done quickly I can't be more pleased! I just wish I had called them sooner!!
We are clients of Cross Heating and Air. The service today is as great as the Carrier heating/ac unit we had installed 9 years ago by Donnie. Today we had to call Donnie for specific questions regarding our unit and he was so helpful in answering those questions based on his vast experience. We have had timely...wonderful service!
We have several rental properties and have called on Cross Heating & Air Conditioning on a few occasions. They came out promptly and took care of our needs. Once, we were out of the state and came home to the problem fixed. We will definitely call them for our future needs!
Cross Heating & Air Conditioning Services has a customer for life. Our air went out on July 3rd and we were told by a different company it would be close to a week before we could have it replaced due to the upcoming holiday weekend. I called Cross HVAC are around 2:00 on July 3rd and Donnie Sr. was at my house by 4:00. After trying to fix the existing unit(something the other company didn't try to do) he came to the same conclusion that it need to be replaced. Donnie Jr. replaced our unit the next day(on the July 4th holiday) and charged less than I was quoted by the first company. I couldn't be more impressed.
AC out day before Fourth of July...not good! Donnie and his team came out same day I called and determined the issue. We know we need to replace our units as they are old, but they repaired the ones we have and saved us a lot of money. Super quick turnaround on getting it fixed for us. We will definitely use them when we are ready to replace and recommend them to others.
Shout out to Donnie and his crew! Came to my house and had A/C unit up and running within 1 hour. Great guys and will always recommend Cross Heating and Air.
Donnie does a great job on time and beats other estimates every time have used cross heating several times commercially would highly recommend to anyone.
Donnie saved us quite a bit of money today, 01/21/19. By recognizing the unit likely was NOT the issue, he saved us an emergency service call and helped us feel more confident our heat worked fine. I can not recommend him strongly enough!

My upstairs AC unit wasn’t blowing any air so I called the Cross Heating and Air who I found from the Home Advisor. Father and Son came to my home on 10/2/2017 and spent about 15 mins and told me the Fan Motor is bad. They said they needed to go to the parts store to let me know the price. They took my fan motor and fan with them. They called me after 2 hours and told me it’s going to cost me $800 to fix it. He said the cost for motor is $500 and remaining is labor. Price of motor seemed high to me but since I am not an expert, I approve the work order. He told me he will have to order a new motor and he will come back next day with the motor. On 10/3/2017, he arrived at my property at 12:30pm. He was about to put new motor but then he realized he got the wrong motor. He ran back to parts store and came with different motor (generic motor). While he went to parts store, I found out the cost for new motor is only $160. He came back around 1:30pm. He said this motor cost little bit more than $500 but he is going to charge me same since he already decided the price with me which was $800. I asked him for receipt for motor or something to prove that it actually cost him $500. He refused to show me the receipt. At that time, I felt like I was being cheated and I said I don’t want to get the work done. He charged me for 2 hours labor ($180). In last two days he spent total 30 min at my property. For him bringing the wrong motor shouldn’t be part of his time. On 10/4/2017, I called different HVAC Company from Winchester Kentucky. They came to my home and told me the FAN MOTOR IS FINE, but the control board is bad at the air handler. He verified that by checking the voltage at the fan. He purchased the new control board ($40) and put it in. After replacing the control board, it fixed the issue. It took him less than one to get the parts and fix the issue. With parts and Labor, I paid the technician $125 for his excellent service. I have receipts and records to prove everyth
We have used Cross Heating & Air Conditioning for over 20 years. They have answered our calls each time. They have serviced our personal HVAC system and our rental systems. They have arrived on time every time, whether it was an emergency or not. The service has always been finished in a timely manner. Cross Heating & Air Conditioning has always done a great job for us. We are very satisfied with their work and would recommend them to everyone.
Excellent service, timely and professional. Took the time to listen to my questions and then thoroughly answered them. They went above and beyond to find the best equipment for my house, and didn't oversell me. We will be using them for future work on our heating and air systems!!!
Donnie at Cross Heating & Air Conditioning was very helpful when my heat pump recently went out. He was informative in helping me choose the right model for my situation. I had a 16 year old unit that desperately needed replaced. Donnie suggested a unit, I did some independent research, and found that he had chosen the same unit that others suggested on the internet. The install went very smooth, replacing an air handler in my attic and an outside compressor unit. I would highly recommend him and I'll be using him to service my heat pumps for the foreseeable future.
